LIARS! Bought a Hummingbird fish finder and they had to order it from another store. waited a few days and it came in. During this time Cabelas puts the same fish finder on sale, call G.M. and they stated they would honor (price match) Cabelas. went to pick the finder up and they claim they will not honor that price, they spoke to the only 2 guys that work in the fishing department and they both claimed to not have talked to me or stated they would honor the price (LIARS). needless to say they now still have the fish finder they ordered for me and I bought my new one from Cabelas. a $ 200 saving. what a junk store nothing current in stock, employees not very knowledgeable. no wonder G.M. is going out of business. not stepping foot in that store again!!!

Smaller store but still a great selection of items. They didn’t carry what we were looking for but an associate helped us to locate a similar item that met our needs. Customer service was welcoming and helpful!

Horrible return policies. Was told that I could not return a metal detector I wanted to buy. When I explained that I wanted to get two and return the one I didn’t want, I was told that is fine ONLY as long as the box wasn’t opened. WTF kind of return policy is that? I won’t deal with them anymore if they treat me like a criminal.

A couple months ago I broke my St. Croix rod. I decided I wanted to try a different type of rod. I was looking thought the news paper adds and found a nice GSX. I went to the store and asked about the rod. He told me it was a good rod for what I was doing. I considers the thought and asked if their were and other I should consider. Honestly, we were talking about the gander rod combo. he said the reals were ok and the rods were junk. I couldn’t believe it. That was a $ 125 combo. It’s not very often that you find someone that tells you not to buy there company rod. Great service and very help full. You should consider looking at the Clarence section; has great deals,

Nice store. Great selection of items for the outdoors. Particularly their fishing dept. is impressive. I was in the store last week-​end and ended up talking to a real nice guy at the back fishing counter area about hand held GPS units. He was awesome! Knowledgeable about the product, patient and helpful. We bought a new rod and reel set up and some misc. I would definitely go back.
