I thought Helzberg was wonderful when we arrived to shop around for wedding bands. Had a very friendly and understanding lady who helped us shop around and we just about bought both bands that day right then. I shook the fiancée out of it, however and told him since we were in the mall to look in at least one more place before getting them just to feel sure. Boy, am I glad we did! Fred Meyer Jewelers had a more stiff sort of feel and kind of strange but they were SO much more helpful! Angela helped us find literally EXACTLY what we were planning to buy next door and I told her how amazed we were that these bands were on sale and even without the sale… saved us almost a grand compared to Helzberg because he would have to put in a giant chunk of gold for it to size up to a 16 ½ 6 mm band. She had a stunned look on her face and told us that with the plan we were planning on purchasing with them, it shouldn’t have cost ANYTHING additionally!(She worked there before and knew for a fact and told us just about every store in the mall at least, upsized for free with care plans, too!) I was pissed! Angela was great, knew her stuff and didn’t want to lie to us. she wanted an honest sale. I’m wondering where that«extra» money would have went to if we had bought those bands there… right in her pocket? It was sad to know that we were being toyed with right off the bat!
