Dear Mr. Kessler:
Recently I stopped into your jeweler located on S. 76^th St. in Greenfield. I was looking for a engagement ring for my grandson whom found the love of his life. Now he is only 18 and she is 17 so I didn’t want him to be tied down to a large investment at this time because of his age, I know you understand. And I always remember the story you told about when you found your love and went into the jeweler and he looked at your shoes and decided he couldn’t help you because of your shoes. So I decided that you’re jeweler would be the place for him. Life time guarentee and great choices. However I was wrong. I came into the store and told the lady what I was looking for and why. I told her I didn’t want my grandson to have a large payment and to start out small and grow in time. The next lady who came into view asked if she could help and the lady helping me kind of said «no» she only wants to spend X amount of dollars and snickered. I thanked her and left and purchased his ring somewhere else. My grandsons name is Javon Piccione and if you look up his «folder» you can see who helped me. I’m sorry I can’t remember the ladies name, but that kind of left a bad taste in my mouth. Years ago when you had your shop across the street I purchased a pair of diamond earrings and your staff back than was awesome.

I love Kessler’s Diamonds and they are the only jeweler that I have used for my wife’s jewelry for the past 10 years. The customer service is top notch. they take the time to know you and are not pushy or ever make you feel that you aren’t spending enough (bought my first piece when I was 21 and had much less money to work with). If anything ever were to happen to your jewelry they will fix it at no cost up to and including losing your center stone. The employees have been the same since I started shopping there and to me that says that they treat their people right and take time to invest in their employees. Kessler’s Diamonds is the Jewelry store to go to in Appleton, WI. I cannot speak for the other locations but I would expect the experience to be equally great.

We bought a ring last September. I was told it was a ring that could be worn daily (engagement ring). After 1 ½ months I found it was too bulky to wear under gloves (for work) and looked into exchanging. Couldn’t do because of their return policy. I met with a jeweler who looked at it (without the loupes) and said there was NO WAY it was the clarity they claimed it was. I took it to a different jeweler for an insurance appraisal and they wouldn’t even appraise it until it was repaired. Five loose stones, one of which was the center stone and the solder where it was sized ‘appears to be damaged’. This jeweler didn’t know the ring was new. I wore the ring for less than two months!
I have sent two e-​mails (one to the store manager and one to customer service) and haven’t heard back from anyone. They were more than happy to sell me a ring but not so happy to deal with me now that there’s a problem.
I will not be dealing with them again and will tell everyone I know how they have treated a ‘valued customer’.
