very friendly staff, hidden located inside/outside wing hop fung my friend highly recommends the lychee oolong i’d say go explore the rest of the menu since most of their tea are above decent quality nice AC too!

So Lan kindly offered to re-do my experience and the service was much better this time, with the girl saying right up front that she’s happy to help if I don’t like it. I ordered a crysanthemum tea with some cool stuff in it, like goji berries. I think that the teas here are far understeeped, that may be why I didn’t taste the first one. Couldn’t taste the crysanthemum in this one, but it tasted otherwise good and the goji berries were good. So four stars for good service, a decent drink, but probably not the flame of my heart ;)

Very happy that this store opened in the Arcadia mall! I always get the Lavender tea Lemonade and I can’t tell any difference from the drinks in Old town Pasadena. It’s inside The Wing Hop Fung store in the promenade.

Staff is very friendly! The selection of teas is yummy. I got a ginger tea… really one of the best teas I have had in a long while! Will be going here again very soon.

I had received a «bird pick and tea» box for Christmas as a gift this past year. I was always curious about this place. So my husband and I walked in. Apparently it’s located inside wing hop fung. We walked towards that area and the people working were not friendly and did not even greet us. It’s also a small area with nowhere to really hang out. Needless to say we will never be back and this was a big disappointment.

Staff were very friendly, the place wasn’t too crowded and their tea is pretty good. I ordered the chrysanthemum and orange iced tea. I thought the tea was great. It was a bit bitter from the orange peel they put and I’m used to stronger chrysanthemum flavors but they had a nice blend of flavors. I got half sweet, which wasn’t as sweet as other places so I’d recommend 75% or even going with full sweetness. The part I didn’t like about their drinks was that it had wayyyyy too much ice. About 80% of the cup was just ice. The tea shop itself is located in Wing Hop Fung at the Westfield Santa Anita. It’s probably not a good place to study as you would imagine a coffee shop to be. There aren’t many outlets you can plug into and the place doesn’t seem like it had wifi.

I’ve been wanting to try the Pasadena location so when I heard about this new opening, I definitely made my way to the Santa Anita mall! It’s a cute little café that’s located inside/near the Chinese store Wing Hop Fung. I ordered the lychee oolong tea. I kind of wish they added a bit more sugar, but I’m sure you can ask for more. But the oolong flavor was definitely strong. They use actual lychee so you won’t be getting the syrup stuff. I would definitely come again to try their other tea flavors. Prices can be a bit steep. There are stamp cards available!

I was so excited to hear there was a Bird Pick in Santa Anita mall! A few points: 1. It is located inside the Wing Hop Fung on the top outer level — may be tricky to find 2. Condensed menu 3. Since it is located inside a chinese herbal shop, you may smell a lot of these herbs during your stay. I’m used to it, but if you are new to herbs it can be unpleasant 4. Not as relaxing an atmosphere to sit and chat because you are surrounded by shoppers. They have most of the classic drinks, but this Bird Pick outpost doesn’t deliver the full experience. It would be better just for a quick grab and go. My standard drink of cucumber mint tea is still good though.

Now I don’t have to drive to Pasadena. :). The purple drink is delicious. Will definitely try their other selections.

Love this place!!! Best Ginger tea ever! Orange Bang with Ginger is my favorite so far !!! Love that this one is closer to my house — their assortment of teas and coffee are the best and they always check to make sure your drink is made to your liking — they aim to please your palate every single time!

I’m so glad a Bird Pick opened in Arcadia! I’ve been a fan of their Pasadena store for a while and always order the same thing — Lychee Oolong Tea! Staff is really friendly and they often have samples of various teas they serve. I also noticed they had food at this location as well but they weren’t really appealing. I wish they had better food options other than yogurt? Location isn’t great because it’s pretty far from where I normally go in the mall. It’s located in Wing Hop Fung which is in the section of the mall that’s outdoors.

nice service & good prices but tea is not that great. I got the jasmine green milk tea w/condensed milk cause I didn’t want almond or soy milk, because I’ve never had those options at other boba places, and it seemed like it would ruin the taste of milk tea if I added almond or soy milk to it. I like to considered myself an «expert» on boba tea, because although I don’t like to admit it I may have an obsession with boba & would drink it everyday if I could. but bird pick just wasn’t that great. If I want milk tea/boba while I’m shopping at the mall I will most likely go elsewhere.

I heard they brought a few of the employees from the Pasadena location to train the employees here. With that being said, the teas had the same quality and yumminess of Pasadena and I’m glad that I can now have my Bird Pick tea every time I go shopping or work out at the gym. I only wish their location wasn’t as awkwardly placed as it is(far back corner waaaaaay hidden of Win Hop Fung or some herbal store). I can’t wait to be back!

I was walking through the promenade when I was offered a sample of some iced tea. The guy offering samples seemed very knowledgable and was very welcoming so I decided to go in to check out the store. Once I found my way to bird pick(hidden in the back of Wing Hop Fung) an employee recommended a chrysanthemum orangeade. It was really tasty! It didn’t taste artificial or generic like most boba shops I’ve tried before. Their chia pudding was so good! I plan on coming back with some friends to try out their teapot service.

So glad they opened this Bird Pick at the mall! It is located inside of the Wing Hop Fung supermarket near the parking lot side of the building. I usually go to the Pasadena location, but when I’m at the mall I’m underwhelmed by the lack of quality tea options so I’m super excited they opened this location! Oh, and they have espresso at this location! Super friendly staff and great drinks!

Came to check out wing hop fung at the Westfield Santa Anita mall and was pleasantly surprised when I saw bird pick inside ! I’ve been wanting to try this place cuz I love tea and I have heard good things bout this place ! I tried the jasmine lemonade and the lychee oolong ! Both were very refreshing and not too sweet or artificial like other tea places . Definitely a good addition to the mall :) another great place to have drinks and tea !
