When I went and ask questions about the menu they gave a lot of attitude and sarcasm and then I asked if I can get a water for my mom and they said you have to go back in line. They made me feel like a low class customer

EBAR is a nice treat if you are in shopping at the Santa Anita Mall and need a power up between your shopping. Located on the ground level outside of Nordstrom, they have a good selection of caffeinated drinks.
I opted to be original and ordered their freshly brewed coffee. It was delicious!

Always put a smile on my face when I get quality coffee without being overcharged. Will be back again soon!

Came here right when they had opened, most employees would be mad at that but that was not the case here .The gentlemen making the coffee and the cashier that helped me out were extremely kind and helpful. Service was outstanding and my caramel macchiato, delicious !

The worst customer service ever. They didn’t give me receipt. I waited my order for more than 15 mnts. Been asked 4 times what’s my other order. Then they said they didn’t have ice cappuccino. The girl behind cashier didn’t say anything about it. Will never come here again.

I’m smiling writing this review. Just got my eyebrow threaded next door. Saw the cold icestorm picture, decided to get some. Darn it! The power of visualization.
Anyhow, I was greeted at cashier by the manager, what a joyful guy. He woke me up with his enthusiasm! I smiled the whole time. Ebar is fortunate to have him n his staff. Both other baristas are attentive n sweet as well. Great job ebar!
And yes my drink was good. I had the extreme and I enjoy it extremely!

The smoothies are ok and the coffee is decent. Nothing spectacular. Its fine if you are passing through the mall and are shopping at Nordstrom. Sometimes there is a long line and not enough staff.

They have hired a new group of staff that’s very rude, and the coffee quality has deteriorated… Every time I consume their cold sandwiches/salads, I would get stomach ache. Reason I’m still giving 2 stars is that eBar used to be so good that I would come every Sunday. Won’t come to this location anymore in the future. Maybe other locations are still remaining good. Will see.

After a day of catching up with my friend and shopping we took a break over tea/coffee and a dessert. I am a fan of all things sweet and the carrot cake was moist had plenty of walnuts and the frosty was Mmmm.

Right outside of Nordstrom. Very fast service and drinks are delicious! Way better than Starbucks in my opinion. My favorite is the caramel ice storm and mocha bianco yummm!

After some shopping, I decided to stop by the E Bar for a toasted bagel before heading to my car. The blueberry bagel (~$ 2) was toasted pretty quickly and I was soon on my way out. However, as I walked into Nordstroms, I noticed a strong burnt scent emanating from the bag. I peered in and noticed a noticeably thick layer of burnt matter encrusted on the top of my bagel. I was shocked that the barista had handed me such an atrociously burnt bagel!
I immediately brought it back to the E-bar and had to wait a few minutes before I could flag down the attention of the barista making drinks. She offered to make me a new bagel or refund my money, though she did not look pleased at all. I took the refund. While putting my money in my wallet, the gentleman who had toasted my bagel, finally, offered me my first apology. In my opinion, it was too late, too late.
Bottom line: Service (and bagel) left a bad taste in my mouth. I will not be returning.

Their coffee never fails me.
I always get their mocha ice storm. Their banana mocha ice storm is even better, but it’s seasonal! :(if they have this drink year round, I’m sure I’m going to get it EVERYTIME im at this mall. It’s that good.
I recommend their black and white mocha as well. Do expect to pay a lil more than usual for your cup of coffee, but their quality and great service make up for it.

Nordstrom’s E-Bar makes an AWESOME Chai Latte! You can choose from Vanilla or Spice and it is YUMMY!

Been to several Nordstrom café (or the ebar) before and it’s my first time to the one at Santa Anita mall. I was here on Black Friday and you can imagine how exhausted I was after several hours of walking and fighting with the crowds. Anyway I needed a coffee and went to ebar. Tried a red tea latte which I have not had before; it doesn’t have any milk or coffee taste at all; instead it has a very strong red tea taste which I have no problem with. Wanted to try their pastry but was not in a mood of eating so I passed this time; and they all look pretty good.
Anyway ebar is a pretty good resting place after shopping, it has a relaxing environment, it plays soft music and sitting at the table with a nice coffee with you is just cozy. I will come back again.

I was shopping for hours and dropped by this little dent to take a rest since parked in the Nordstrom wing.
I am a fan of their Red Tea Latte. I ve never had this rich flavor tea latte anywhere else. Other places may have stuff like tea latte, but not taste the same as this one. Smooth dairy fundamental brings the predominant red tea flavor, yet with a hint of cinnamon. The price is fair, as currently 3.15 for a tall.
A lil gem to rest your feet. btw, you may have known that the floor material design of this shopping mall is a bit weird. They ve got really hard floor, even flats could hurt, no mention your heels, ladies.

I really like Nordstrom’s eBar! I always get ice vanilla latte ($ 3.40 tall) or sunburst (half tea and half orange juice; $ 2.90 tall). I also used to get the cherry or apple turnover, but I guess it’s no longer part of the eBar’s pastry menu.
It’s located outside of nordstrom on the first floor.
Customer service is alright. It really depends who’s working…

This review might have a bias as I used to be an employee for Nordstrom but with going to coffee joints like Starbucks, I get bored having the same variety of bland drinks. Not to mention at times bad service from disgruntled employees. Hence why I usually go to the E-bar for my drink fix.
As with the rest of Nordstrom company and their renowned customer service, the E-Bar no exception. Your cappuccino not as foamy as you like it? Do you want 3 Splendas, 2 pumps of sugar, and 110 degree milk? The E-Bar team is more than happy to provide drinks just the way you want them to. Even if the end result does not come to your liking, they will also remake your drinks over free of charge.
My suggestions are the Mint Chip Ice Storm and the Double Berry Smoothie. As for pastries I would definitely go with the Fruit Tart when available or the cookies.

Why does this place have such poor reviews? Pretty standard, imo. They take your order and make it well.
And the most recent time, I forgot to ask for my drink with half syrup (regular honey almond latte is too sweet for me), they offered to remake it which was nice but all I had to do was dilute it — which they happily did for me.
Awesome pastries. Yummy fruit tart! I like to get their cup of strawberries too although it’s ridiculously expensive.
I wish they had more seating though! It’s always so packed!
Buy a coffee card during Nordstrom Anniversary sales — it’s a much better deal :)

Small coffee shop outside of Nordstrom offering lattes, cappucinos, blended drinks, hot chocolate, packaged sandwiches, and a few types of pastries.
The boyfriend and I ordered a Cappucino (he did not enjoy, it was made too sweet) and a Mexican Hot Chocolate which tasted weird and left a funny aftertaste on my tongue. kinda like mexican hot cocoa mixed with dark coffee. bleadj! Waste of 3.50.
Did I mention it took us like 20 minutes to get our drinks made by one girl, with no other customers? Hmm… yeah. next time I will walk a little further and order at Starbucks.
