Wow. Out of everything. Out of tap beer… Out of most of the bottled beer(only had 5 bottles total in restaurant). Out of ¾ of the menu… The food they did have was mediocre at best. I wanted to like it and make it my easy hang out spot. Don’t think that’s going to happen. Disappointing.

Funny, quite a few of the photos on here are food that I made. Sadly this place suffered very much at the hands of it’s owners. I will have you all know that it has since closed it’s doors. Most upsetting of all is that I never received my last check. Most of the reviews on here are fraudulent and posted by owners, employees or friends of the owners.

Seeing Jordan M.‘s review really made me hesitant to give Rituale a 5-star review because that really, really blows. However, at the end of the day, this review is based on my experiences at Rituale and this café and wine lounge has been nothing short of fantastic thus far. After a quick search on Unilocal,I found this place over a month ago and it has since become my local haunt. Had a hard day at work and need to unwind? Rituale. Need to catch up with a friend over good conversation? Rituale. Want a quick, tasty dinner accompanied with a glass of wine and delicious dessert? Rituale. With both indoor bar and outdoor patio seating, I’m surprised this place is never crowded. In retrospect, it’s most likely due to it’s location in the mall(outside CPK in the Promenade). For the past month, I’ve visited once every week after work because it’s seriously so chill, yet classy. I usually get a panini, either the Chicken & Mushroom or Grilled Cheese, along with a glass of moscato and their wonderfully delicious Tiramisu. I’ve never liked Tiramisu until I had it at Rituale. It doesn’t hurt that the assistant manager, who is always there, is very sweet, friendly, and accommodating, and always let’s us stay a bit longer past their opening time. During my last visit, I was informed by the assistant manager that the owners of the place are contemplating closing down due to a slow month in sales. The news was disappointing ’cause Rituale is such a unique one-of-a-kind café and wine lounge. I haven’t heard if they’ve decided to close, but please do give them a try before they actually do; I’d really hate to see this place go.

I was quite pleasantly surprised with this find. Rituale Café & Lounge is located in the Westfield Shopping Mall in the Promenade area — across from Coach and Tevana. At first blush, we thought happy hour was 5−7pm but when we got in, the bartender/waiter told us it was ALLDAY *perhaps weekdays only?* We opted for a beer(didn’t have any on draft), the quinoa & shrimp salad and a cubano sandwich. The quinoa salad was yummy with its light vinaigrette but I was definitely hoping for more than a few pieces of small shrimp, sprinkled with qunioa. When I read quinoa salad, I though the majority would be qunoia not greens. eh well now I know but overall yummy still. The cubano sandwich was delicious — lightly toasted bread with cheese and two thick slices of pork. Comes with a side of salad. Good hearty portions. A tad disappointing — but they didn’t have their sliders. A nice addition to the area, here’s hoping that it’ll stay around!

This place has yet to be crowded but that’s a good thing, especially with their happy hour going on from 4pm til closing. that’s an awesome deal! This place is located across from Teavana and right outside of Macy’s and has indoor as well as outdoor seating. The workers have always been wonderful, patient and in one occasion even offered to reheat our food since I was there having dinner catching up with a dear friend of mine. I thought that was really an amazing thing for them to offer. The fact that they offered to reheat our food and kept our wine glasses full, they for sure know how to care for their customers. During my first visit, I loved that the place was empty and not too loud at all. Great place to catch up with a friend for a bargain on food as well. The staff is very welcoming. I ordered a few glasses of their Cab wine which was only $ 5 per glass during their happy hour, the roasted potatoes(which were reheated once for me) and their tomato basil soup that came with half a grilled cheese. Roasted potatoes: pretty good, well roasted, flavorful and I loved the onions on them as well as the peppers. Great appetizer. 9⁄10 Tomato basil soup: def going back for this again! I love how good it tasted. It was served at the right temperature as well and it was more than enough to fill me up as well. I am also going through tomato soup phase so it was good but not the best I’ve had. 8⁄10 Grilled cheese: I love that it came with my tomato soup at no additional cost. I also enjoyed the caramelized onions, roasted peppers and the fact that it was served on a potato bread BUT I do wish my 3 cheese grilled sandwich was more hotter/warmer enough to actually melt the cheese. Reason why I am giving it an 8⁄10 is because it had additional stuff in it other than just plain cheese. On my second visit, I went with the husband. We decided to also attend during their happy hour. Sadly during this visit and the reason why I deducted a star is because they had no tap beer. Sad face sad sad face, especially since the husband wanted a beer and it was his first visit. Not a good first impression. What made up for it though was the sandwich for him. We decided to order the hummus plate for starters, he ordered the Cubano panino and I ordered the grilled chicken panini. Hummus plate: really good! the pita was warm and perfectly toasted but not too crispy. It went very well with our hummus and we had enough hummus to eat all the pita bread with(I hate it when they only give you a few pieces of pita and we have a whole lot left of hummus or vise versa) 9⁄10 We shared the sandwiches so we both could try them out. Cubano panino– pork, ham pesto and cheese in this. I wasn’t to fond of the pork in it but it was alright. Bread was good, sandwich over all 7⁄10 Not sure if I would order it again. Grilled chicken panini: WAY too much mushroom for me in this sandwich. It was very mushroomy(I’m not a fan of mushrooms) Because of this, the husband really enjoyed this sandwich, it was his favorite of the two. The chicken was perfect and not dry and it was very well complimented with the rosemary aoili. 5⁄10 Both sandwiches were served with a really tasty fresh arugula salad. I could have eaten a whole bowl of this! It was good, the leaves were green and crisp, and had just enough dressing to satisfy me. 10⁄10 The atmosphere: the tv was a bit loud(being that no one else was in there) but the staff was nice enough to ask us if it was too loud and if it was he could turn it down for us) other than that its pretty chill, relaxing, not crowded at all. The price: affordable prices for great food. Go for happy hour 4pm til closing, and get this HAPPYHOURALLDAYSATURDAYS!!! Who doesn’t like that! The service: friendly, very welcoming The food: over all a good 8/10, I’ll come back to this place and recommend it.

Went here for the first time today. Checked out their happy hour with three friends. Good prices, good food. The guys who run the place are really cool. Small cozy place. We all liked it. Would definitely go again. :)

I happened upon this place last time I was walking around the mall, and figured I’d take advantage of the happy hour. The(pork?) sandwich I had was really tasty. Bonus: they were playing Top Gear UK!

Really cute place in the outdoor area of the Santa Anita mall(its by the entrance near Macys). Good service and great happy hour(daily from 4 – 9). Wine and beer only plus some smaller plates are around $ 5 – 7 each. I really liked the potatoes and the salmon appetizer. I hope this business survives as it is situated in a weird area that not everyone frequents.

The portions are a bit small, but probably more for those who want to eat light or have smaller tummies than my garbage dump body: T Chef is VERY personable and friendly, and it is easy to see that he is very passionate about his food. They revamped the menu, and will be revising more in the upcoming days(especially for happy hour). Once again, chef will come out and ask if the food is okay, and make accommodations as necessary. He even came out to apologize that he forgot some items on my salad! What really gave it a 5 star though, was their tiramisu. I’ve never had better tiramisu anywhere else. Serious. If someone thinks they know of a place with legit tiramisu(not in Italy!), please, let me know because this one BLEWMYSOCKSOFF! Worth every $ 7ish yum yum!

Tried different items during happy hour. Perhaps my stomach is too greedy but the food felt small. I’m giving 4 star because of the staff friendliness and the need for an unpretentious kick back place in Arcadia.

I stopped by during Memorial Day for a lite lunch, and this place did not disappoint. It’s a neat, small little café in the Santa Anita Promenade. I had the Salmon Crostinis, delicious! I will definitely be back for more!
