A funny, but true story to help you to decide to go here or not: My roommate and I went through a phase where we would go here about 2 times a week for a couple months. They have a 9-piece meal with potato wedges and a 24oz drink for $ 4.19.The chicken is great, but the price made it a cheap and quick dinner option. So, one afternoon my buddy and his wife called me and ask what I was doing for dinner. I told him we were going to Chester’s Chicken and invite him to come along. I heard him yell to his wife, «Hey hun, do you want to go to Chester’s Chicken for dinner?» To which she responded, «The gas station?» Then my friend says to me realizing I indeed meant the gas station, «Nah man, I don’t want to eat at a gas station.» Moral of the story — this is a great place to grab some chicken on the go in fried whole pieces or nugget form, but this is not a restaurant or a usually dinner option. If you get the meal, don’t get the mac and cheese, the container is about 4oz and if you get wedges you get about 10oz. Also, be nice to the attendants. They get a lot of flack, but some of them have been cooking amazing chicken for years! They close up shop around 8 or 9pm and put all the leftover food into containers at a reduced cost. I have scored some monster bags of chicken nuggets!
