If I could eat these crepes all day, every day, I would. When I think of crepes I think of tiny pancakes, but these things are huge. I’m more of a savory fan for breakfast so I got the Normandy crêpe with prosciutto, mushrooms, swiss, jack, scallions, and garlic, and I couldn’t get enough of it. They even have amazing gluten free crepes!

Renata’s is fantastic! Several of the sweet crepes have plenty of fresh berries and fruit with just a touch of Nutella — the perfect balance. On the savory side, the crepes have lots of different options as well — some with Brie or local made Monterey Jack cheese. The combinations are all delectable. We definitely recommend the Amber Rose. The service is also exceptional. The servers are attentive and friendly.

Don’t let the line of people waiting to get in turn you off. Wait, you’ll be glad you did. The food is amazing here and worth the weight

Good service and good food. This place, like most downtown is small but the food and staff are both excellent. The crepes were light and fluffy and the ingredients inside were all fresh and delicious. My husband even said the scrambled eggs were cooked perfect and he is very picky about his scrambled eggs. We got a sweet and a savory to try each. They were both great for their uniqueness.

I just went on Saturday, and this place is amazing! The service was good, the price was decent, and the food was fantastic! My friend and I got two crepes one savory meal that was their special, and one sweet appetizer, and we got a mocha each and for all of that it was $ 34 and some change. The mochas were also amazing! I want to go back every time I’m in town to visit. Not recommended if you have a large party like more than 4 people because it’s a pretty small restaurant.

They’ve got it going on at Renata’s! What is IT, you ask? Well, crepes are their specialty, but you won’t want to miss out on the great beverages they offer. Lattes, mochas, hot chocolate and just great plain old coffee are all spectacular at Renata’s. There are daily specials on the board, typically with a choice of a sweet or savory dish. I tend to always go for the savory special. My choice was a poblano chile crêpe that turned out to be an excellent choice, if I do say so myself. This usually comes with bacon, but they seemed happy to hold the bacon and replace it with avocado. I decided not to add the green salad this time, even though I recalled that it was superb. The crêpe was just a little too much for me to finish; it might have been perfect to share, so depending on your appetite you may want to consider that idea. The service was perfect… just the right amount of checking on us and very friendly. The atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming. There are small tables out front when the weather is cooperative.

Love this place — great flavors and large portions that are filling with unique combinations. Fresh and local. Been a number of times and always consistent. Often busy but worth a wait and always fast and professional service.

The wait is usually long, but it’s worth it! The crêpe’s are as beautiful as they are delicious. I’ve had both the savory and the sweet ones and have never been disappointed, but I recommend the Amber Rose above all. Bacon, apples and Brie? YAS. The generous mimosa include a pitcher of orange juice and bottle of champagne. You need that. The one bad thing I have to say is that it’s a small restaurant, so you’re sitting really close to your neighbors and/or in the walkway.

Holy crêpe! This luxurious hole in the wall will have you wishing you lived closer! With healthy alternatives that are just as sweet as the original, there is a cornucopia of choices regardless of your dietary needs. P. S. The hot chocolate is in a bowl!

Crepes with style. Split one savory & one sweet. Just do it. Feeling the love here. Plus, I had the best mocha of my life– it came in a gigantic soup bowl with Real cream-Oh me oh my!

Very good crepes with creative fillings and a nice setting with local hipster flavor. They even have gluten free crepes. We waited what felt like a loooong time for our order; people never checked on us. So enjoy your time there, don’t plan to be somewhere right after your meal, and order dessert at the beginning.

This place is a little food paradise ! We got the banana berry and the great poulete. Each dish is made with so much attention to detail, you can taste the love put into it. The tomatoes were perfectly diced, The berries were super fresh, literally everything was just right. Easily the best crepes I have ever had in California.

Super happy with Renatas. Décor was great and entertaining. Service was 4 stars. Place was busy but we were seated within 5 minutes. Food. Delicious and huge. I couldn’t finish the banana berry. And my coffee was epic

I was in town and had breakfast here. The wait time was crazy, but it was the Sunday after Halloween so it was busy everywhere. At least this place had staff to welcome you and put you on the list with accurate wait times. The food is always great here. We had two of their crêpe specials that were savory and a sweet crêpe. We were full and happy. The staff are wonderful. They are very attentive. Non-stop coffee. My kind of place. It was a bonus to see a lot of old faces from when I use to live here.

This time I got the Amber Rose crêpe. SOOOO yummy. It has egg, bacon, chili flakes and cheese and I topped it with a salad. And of course, I drank my chai in a bowl. SOOOO yummy. I will be back soon. Love the staff, the cooks were cracking me up. I sat where I could watch them at the bar. Pretty cool. They just made us all laugh. They make good lunch buddies since I was eating alone.

This is a treasure for those who love crepes both savory & sweet, as this is Renata’s specialty. The menu is limited in this sense~ both breakfast & brunch offers solely crepes/salads or a combination of the two. What does vary are the specials offered daily. Today’s Special board offered 1 savory(Italian sausage crêpe with fixings) & a variety of 3 sweet crepes. Crepes on the menu rum from $ 8.75(a la carte) to $ 11.75. All offer add on salad option for $ 1.50 extra. I ordered«Got your Goat» crêpe a la carte $ 10.75. Was ideal for a satisfying, healthy brunch ~ So unlike many brunches which tend to leave one a bit«too stuffed» to go on ambitiously with the rest of the day~ Espresso drink menu, also small menu of wine & locally brewed beers. Small place, but comfortable. Really enjoyed it.

Four of us recently went here for dinner. We had three crepes and a salad between all of us. Big and hearty savory crepes with enough left over to have for breakfast the next morning. Lots of vegetarian options and their soup of the day is always a vegan offering. Staff was friendly and efficient and always kept our water glasses full. I would have like to have a few more options when it comes to wine by the glass. I will be back. Yum!

This place has so much personality and it’s great. The décor is a colorful hodgepodge of local art, painted plates, and ornate mirrors, so there’s lots to look around at while you wait for your food! I got the Amber Rose Crêpe and I highly recommend it. It’s an amazing breakfast-y crêpe complete with eggs and bacon, but with the smart additions of brie, apples, and chili flakes. A really interesting balance of flavors from the salty brie, sweet apples, and spicy chili flakes. Keep in mind the portion is twice what I think most people would expect it to be; I had to take-away a big chunk of it, when 9 times out of 10 I finish the entire thing. Glad I decided to stop by on a whim, and I hope to visit again sometime and try one of their sweet crepes!

Amazing Crapes in a small town! Wow what fantastic crapes and service :) Came here on a weekend trip up from SF. We were delighted at how tasty everything was. I had the blue cheese pear chicken special it was fantastic. My wife had something with eggs; I forget exactly what it was called but she loved it. The coffee was good, the service fast despite it being crazy busy. According to the locals we talked to this is one of the best places in town.
