Bamboo Garden II

We are here for the first time a couple of weeks ago and were very disappointed. We ordered sesame chicken, general Tso’s chicken, steamed dumplings, and crab Rangoon. All of it was bland. The steamed dumplings were rubbery, the crab rangoon was slightly burn, and the entrees had no flavor. The egg rolls were the only edible part of our meal. We ended up ordering pizza and throwing the food out.

I have been a customer of Bamboo Garden since my family moved to NC in the early 1990s. The buffet and experience inside the restaurant isn’t as good as the takeout.
They have one buffet, which for the dinner buffet price isn’t not enough of a selection. The buffet items could potentially be not quite as good of the quality of the takeout food. This is the reason I mostly order takeout from Bamboo Garden.
My favorite dishes are the beef lo mein, sweet and sour chicken, pork fried rice, and the crab wontons. They have a drive-​thru window which is very convenient.
The service has been so-​so. The owners and older, more mature employees are professional and a pleasure to do business with. They have a few young teenage employees who misbehave and annoy me and pretty much make me want to slap them. This is another reason I choose takeout… I limit my exposure to the occasional ridiculousness.

This is and older Chinese restaurant. Been around for years. The inside is very dated. The food is usually good. The prices are pretty cheap.

This Restaurant I think makes its own eggrolls and puts hamburger inside In my opinion the best in the triad. The only down side to this place are its hours they are open on Saturday for a very short time. the food is fresh and tasty. I don’t know what another reviewer was talking about again this is the best in the triad. I only wish they had two other locations that made food as good as they do.

Full buffet price for only ONE table of choices. The interior is rather bland and the food is meh at best. Better buffets in the area.
