Food shopping is annoying at Trader Joe’s unless you are crazy like me and go at 8 in the morning. Since I am not quite awake at that point, I pop by nextdoor to Saxby’s in the Ardmore Farmers Market for a little pick me up. I like their chai lattes and I like them dirty.

The girl who was working here on Saturday morning was very nice. However, they need to get another blender! Give them two blenders! It takes forever to get your order when there’s only one.

I love coming here on Sunday mornings to grab my weekly flavored brew(Pumpkin Spice this week!). What made it even better today was friendly barista who offered us complimentary froyo since they are closed on Mondays and needed to clean the machine. It was refreshing and creamy, and definitely hit the spot. The Almond Joy frolatte is also quite delish, and tastes like the actual candy bar!

This brave Saxbys Coffee outpost is situated at one end of the Ardmore Farmers Market. Lured by their coffee smells, I walked over during a lull. I asked for a medium kookie monster frolatte(frozen latte — get it? — $ 4, credit cards accepted), a blend of crème and chai, chocolate, chocolate chips, and crushed Oreo cookies. This is one wintry treat, a kind of ice cream-like slurry. By default it lacks caffeine, so I asked the friendly staffer to mix in coffee, to which she obliged. Score.
