Staff is helpful and perky on weekday mornings. The lines can be very long and at times slow moving. Atmosphere is usually nice, with a cozy space and decent amount of tables. Retail selection is excellent with a great variety of mugs, thermoses, etc. Breakfast sandwiches always stocked and available, even if they’re not in the case. Usually better to go early as the line can get long later in the morning. Clean restrooms. K-cups and other take-out coffee readily available. Simply a lovely place to spend an hour getting set for the day.

Your water filters needs to be replaced. I have had cold-brew black on two occasions. Out of a several month period. Both did not taste good. Then tried your water, from the filter. It tastes like typical Philadelphia tap water. Not very good. You know that taste. GETYOURFILTERCLEANED/CHANGED, etc. Filtered water is essential for good tasting coffee. Coffee is 98% water. I imagine other drinks may not be affected as much. But certainly your hot coffee that you guys brew in mass amounts behind the cashier probably would. Frappachinos, caffe macchiatos, drinks like that probably would be to overpowered by the other flavors in there to notice. Or you may not notice if you add flavors or sugar to your drip coffee. I have had better cold-brew from other locations. It was black, nothing added. Their water tasted fine. I would recommend getting on this ASAP. Friendly staff, little slow. Not too bad in regards to experience.

I also do not understand the negative reviews for this starbucks. It really just is a typical starbucks. Starbucks may not be my favorite coffee shop, but in comparison to the chain’s other locations there is nothing wrong with this particular one. This starbucks has plenty of seating and is definitely big enough, it just happens to be crowded a lot as it is in the middle of suburban square, which is a busy place. The line is typically long, but has always moved quickly and my drinks have been good. Employees are friendly. No complaints here.

Worst starbucks i ever been to. Service is dry and slow. And a few times my cup was half full. Like nothing but foam. Not the cleanness starbucks. Employees always look mad. The only reason i still go, is for free wifi. Hire friendlier employees and better trainers. No one ever smiles.

Absolutely the worst Starbucks I’ve ever been to. Time and time again, the one lady who always seems to be on shift is extremely dismissive and obnoxious. Don’t waste your time here, any other Starbucks location is better than this one. Disgraceful.

Early morning regular customer here. Baristas are friendly and knowledgeable. Once you’re a regular, they have your coffee ready for you almost before you step up to the counter. Lines back up later in the day, and it can get noisy and a bit chaotic, but early morning is nice and quiet.

This starbucks location is far from impressive. I’ve been here multiple times and found the trash overflowing from the can, flies by the food, and specialty drinks having run out. The baristas play around and waste time while making your drink. All of these things could be fixed with just a little better management.

This is a busy Starbucks so sometimes the lines are long. But the baristas move fast and your drinks are prepared quickly. There are not many places to sit but if you do get a spot it is comfortable and fun to watch the Suburban Square shoppers scurrying about.

I’m really not sure what all of the complaints here are about. It might be because I purposefully try to avoid Suburban Square during high-traffic times(like the middle of the afternoon on Saturday) but I’ve never had a bad experience. True, the line can be very long sometimes but that’s to be expected for a coffee shop in a popular shopping hot spot. In my opinion, the service is very quick and efficient. It’d be nice to see more of the employees smile, but they’ve never messed up any order of mine. I’ve come here to work on assignments for graduate school plenty of times. I have always been able to find a seat. Plus, there is free WiFi. What’s not to like?

I don’t understand all the bad reviews I see. In terms of seating — yes there is not much space but it is because of the location. Most stores in Suburban Square are on the smaller side. Every time I go I usually take it out and sit outside somewhere. There is PLENTY of seating all around suburban square. If you can’t find a table for yourself I don’t see why sitting with someone you don’t know is so taboo. They are also right next to the train station so its very convenient to get a good drink for the train ride into the city(or wherever you are going). Every drink i have got from here is perfect. I have been to many Starbucks all over, and they are very consistent here. With the line being to the door situation, WHATDOYOUEXPECT! They are in the MIDDLE of suburban square. People are constantly in suburban square food shopping, buying clothes, buying gifts, getting their computer fixed, getting makeup, or just walking around enjoying the beauty of the place. There are so many people going through the shopping center you have to expect Starbucks to be busy. When the line is to the door, it has moved very quickly, without errors to the orders. Honestly who cares if the side door opens up to the front of the line/baked goods section. I mean, if it wasn’t there would you complain that there is only 1 door to get into the place? It’s there for our convenience. I really don’t see anything wrong with this location. They deserve more credit/stars.

Your typical Starbucks. A good stop on a nice day while shopping in beautiful Suburban Square; there is plenty of outdoor seating available to enjoy the sun while you self-medicate your caffeine addiction.

Usually a line, hard to find parking, not worth stopping in unless you are already at suburban square.

It’s very hit or miss at this location, both with timeliness in being served as well as the employees making your morning beverage. For the most part, the better crew does tend to be there at least 3 out of 4 visits, so that’s a plus. I will second what Christopher said about the line though; it is super confusing for people not familiar with the area and I constantly see people asking«Is this the line? Or do I go back here?» What’s the point in having a side door that opens half-way through the line that someone has to walk all the way back to the regular door to enter line. Why not just keep that door locked and cause less headaches? I’ve seen many a newcomer come in that way and look as dazed as a baby bird while they catch their barings and realize the actual line zips way back to the other door or catch them standing in the drink line when they have yet to place an order. Signs or no, I’ve seen many people have issues with this; just saying, unless headache is one of many things you plan to pick up from starbucks during your morning routine, just enter through the regular door(across from Blue Mercury!)

I have been bitching about this for several months, but this is the only starbucks in the world that puts customers through a maze to get to the front counter. And be careful because the side door opens right into the middle of the line and you have to make your way to the back like you going the wrong way as on the airplane as everyone is leaving. Go to Bala Cynwyd where they treat you like a human being.

Served caffeine when I ordered a tall, decaf capp — in the early evening. Did not sleep!!! Starbucks — do one thing and do it well. Serve coffee. Plus, the milk and sugar stations were overflowing with disgusting trash during this visit and a previous visit earlier in the week. This Starbucks is not good.

Dear Starbucks in Suburban Square, Come on. Are you really so hard up on cash that you need to charge for wireless? And why are your tables so small – and round, to boot – that they discourage camping out and working all afternoon? I must admit, I’m irritated. I love my frappuccino lights in all of your flavors – I’m a loyal customer, I swear – but I also love coupling said drinks with long afternoons of steady work, preferably in an environment devoid of teenage girls screaming about lip gloss. Just saying. Love, Shawna
