Snap deserves the rating it has for a few reasons. First, fast, convenient and high quality service. Second, they don’t nickel and dime you like seemingly every place does now. You can ask for extra toppings, I’ve always kept it reasonable, for no charge and it’s very reasonably priced. There is a lot to be said when some other«higher end» pizza places have charged $ 2.50 or so just for an extra topping. Major, major kudos for this Snap. Third, BYOB. Great for casual dates but also great for families and children as well. A great local neighborhood spot. Last, and perhaps most important, their pizza is delicious and their variety of toppings allow for a create your own(let the creativity flow!) or order one of the pizzas they have listed on their menu. I change my order up a little bit each time I go. Overall, a great casual/quick place that uses fresh ingredients(actually not sure if it’s all organic, but I don’t think it is) for a great price!

The create-your-own pizza idea is awesome. I was overwhelmed with the number of options so I went with the simple margarita and it was great. Can’t wait to come back and try the other toppings!

This place is a great concept. I like being able to customize your order and the individual pizzas are a good size. You also can’t beat the price, a great value for what you’re getting. I ordered a standard margherita pizza as a test and overall it was pretty good. I rated a 4 because I didn’t love the crust, I prefer it a little more crispy and there was a long line out the door.

Best margarita pizza ever!!! I tried their watermelon soda, also sooo good! Only thing I didn’t like was the lady who gave me attitude when I was trying to decide what kind of pizza to order. She was very rude and gave me a dirty look. That’s why I give 4⁄5 stars. As of that the pizza was amazing!!!

Great quality ingredients, super fun customization options, and you can’t beat the price. Best kept secret is the sustainably crafted fountain soda machine.

*Celiac friendly* Very good gluten free crust!($ 2 extra though) They will change gloves and make the pizza«off-line» meaning they will gather the ingredients from original containers to avoid cross contamination. Always very nice staff behind the pizza bar as well

UPDATE: The Crust is much better now… not sure if the Owner read my earlier review, but the Crust is now slightly thicker/chewier = very good:) Wish they’d also keep the Corn Salsa(with Black Beans) year round, instead of seasonally:) MYMENU: ** Create your own Pizza = Traditional Crust; San Marzano Tomato Sauce; House Made Mozzarella; Caramelized Red Onions &(1) Egg, {because(2) Eggs is too runny}, also added Corn Salsa, Butternut Squash(Seasonal), & Red Pepper Chili Oil =(4) very good. Please KEEP the Corn Salsa(with Black Beans) year round:)lol * Tried the Sage Cauliflower(seasonal topping) =(3) just ok… not great ** Naturally Sweeten Local Soda =(4) very good

You just can’t go wrong here. Every time I leave Snap, my thoughts are«gosh, I should have paid at least $ 4 more for my meal.» The atmosphere is inviting and hip, the employees are top notch pizza artisans and the food rivals«fine dinning» pizza establishments throughout Philadelphia. Choices for the make your own option abound, but doesn’t suffer from the over abundance syndrome that the Cheesecake Factory or other poorly ran establishments fall for. I love the BBQ pizza I make: BBQ sauce, chicken and bacon, poblano peppers, provolone and mozz. After its baked, I finish it with corn salsa, arugula and cilantro lime sauce! PS– add a first layer or the herbed butter to any pizza crust! Makes a huge difference. All of that is just $ 7.49!!! The Nutella pizza reminds me of an old childhood favorite back in the South. No visit to Snap is complete without it. The presentation is one of my favorite aspects. The wood blocks distinguish your creation from the traditions metal pans that everyone else uses. It’s classy yet simple. Be sure to visit Snap over any other pizza place in the area. Your stomach, and wallet, will thank you!

What is it about Ardmore? There’s Jules Thin Crust AND Snap Custom literally minutes away from each other. Both are similar. And unfortunately, both are disappointing to this life-long pizza lover. I was hungry after getting an oil change so I went to my handy Unilocal app and asked it… What’s nearby? Snap showed up with a stellar 4.5 out of 5 ranking as well as I had walked by it a few weeks back and thought I’d try it out. Lucked out and found a parking spot(it’s in a step down store front across from one side of the Ardmore Train station). Place seemed nice and clean. You walk in and are greeted by the menu board. You can create your own or pick from several choices. They have the same thing on salads(also available as sides). The pizza maker was a nice guy. Ordered a plain pizza which was a combo of shredded and fresh chunks of mozzarella. You watch it being made. The crust is not spun over head. There is no kneading it down. It looks like a pancake on a silver plate where they add what looks like fresh sauce then the cheese. No oregano or spices. They then put the pizza on a conveyor belt. When it comes out the other side it’s drizzled with some olive oil and fresh basil is placed as a garnish. I also tried a side salad — the small version of the artisan — mixed greens, house made mozzarella, roasted peppers and dressing. Neither impressed me. The crust of the pizza was not crispy. It was fair as far as taste. The salad was weak — including a few old lettuce pieces that should have been trashed. I did try their New Hope soda which was ok. It’s a great concept — pizza done up like a make-it-your-own burrito shop. But the results disappoint. Just another pizza you can find in joints all over the area. Certainly, not worth it to me. Next time I’ll walk around the block and across the street to go to Bella Italia. Now They do a great job and always have different slices available. I never miss a slice of theirs when I’m at the Ardmore Music Hall.

4 stars pizza /5 star service Went in again tonight. Still really love Snap and love that you can make your own masterpiece. We’ve been in a few more times since our first time, but I wanted to update on some kind of change that seems to have occurred. All 4 of my family’s pizzas were browned way too much. One of my daughter’s pizza actually had to be remade because it was just terribly burned. I don’t know if the conveyor belt is going slower, the oven is hotter or they just changed their dough, but something is definitely different. Sadly, I had forgotten my phone so I couldn’t Snap(haha…get it???) a photo, but believe me when I tell you that the crust was way over done. My husband’s pizza bubbled so much that it got stuck in the belt and I had to tell the employee to grab it because it was burning, too. That being said, all of the employees were super accommodating. After they tried to convince me this browning is normal, and I explained to them that I actually still have a left over box in my fridge of Snap pizza and it’s never been so brown when we’ve eaten here, they proceeded to offer to remake any of our 4 pizzas. All but one of us(my pickiest eater) could deal with the browning, so they remade her pizza and were just so nice about it– even checking on her half way through the meal and comping it for us in the end. I thanked them, because honestly, remaking it was all we needed, but he insisted. I would’ve been slightly happier had my pizza been a little less cooked, but the flavors are still spot on. I’ve had so much fun making my own pizza creations at Snap. I definitely know what I like now, and I’m looking forward to going back. I’ve now learned to ask them to push it through a bit, so it doesn’t cook quite as long. I don’t need a charred crust, I actually like eating the crust of my pizza!

So I’ve been here many times now and it’s still great. I love this concept of «Chipotle-style»(build your own right in front of you) pizza. The people who work here are friendly and the food is consistently good. Plus it’s BYOB. My recommendation — get a growler from Tired Hands and bring it here to enjoy with your pizza.

The pizza here is better than most of the other small suburb pizza joints. We got there on a Saturday night around 6:30 and the line wasn’t long yet. By the time we left the line was out the door. I really like the concept of this place but I think they need to work a few kinks out. Once your done selecting the ingredients for your pizza, it gets very disorganized, especially when they get busy. Instead of just standing there waiting for your pizza, I would like to see them use a number system similar to Cosi. They have no idea whose pizza belongs to who and my pizza was done 5 minutes before the other pizzas we ordered. There are very few tables so if you have a hot pizza, you might not be able to eat it right away. Interesting concept but definitely needs improvement! I normally don’t order soda but I tried the grapefruit crush and it was very refreshing and tasty!

I came here at my friends’ suggestion for an after-work pizza and wine happy hour… or at least that’s what we called it. There was pizza, there was wine, we came after work… and for about an hour, we were DEFINITELY happy! I totally love the concept of creating your own pizza. Or, if the number of possible options overwhelms you, there are plenty of signature pizzas on the menu that you can choose from. They also have salads, and a small dessert menu. I chose the create-your-own option. My pizza was so interesting to the VERY friendly staff, that they asked me to come back again and recreate it and they’ll possibly add it to the menu. Ok I think they were only joking but hey… I’m hopeful! I was there for Wine Wednesday(receive one glass of wine with your order) but my friends brought several bottles and we had an extra«happy» time. Don’t you just love a BYOB? We’ll be back!!!

I visitied Sanp pizza with my family last Saturday and I left very satisfied. Fresh, simple, quick, clean, affordable, friendly staff… I couldn’t be more impressed. Repeat visits with similar results will lead to a 5th star. As I approached the counter, I noticed a guy on my left making mozzerella on the spot. After a pleasant greeting, I was asked to select my dough type. I chose the regular and I don’t know what the other options were. Probably wheat, gluten-free, something like that. After I chose my dough, they rolled it flat right in fron of me and awaited further instruction. They have several interesting combinations of toppings or you can create your own combination. As I chose my ingredients, they were added to the pie. I chose pepperoni(large and freshly sliced), artichokes, kalamata olives, and sausage. While they were a little light on the toppings, the sauce, cheese and dough were so good that they didn’t need to be overloaded with toppings. And the toppings that were there were exceptional. Very fresh and non-standard. No canned stuff. The sausage was clearly cut into chunks on site. So they loaded up my pie and put it on the conveyer belt cooking machine. I ordered the Kennet Square for my wife and the kids plain for my picky 6 year old. The pizzas were ready in about 5 minutes. They called my name and I hustled to the counter to retrieve the pizzas. They had a very custom look and the smells on the way back to the table gave me a preview of the multi layered flavor profile I was about to experience. I could smell and taste each ingredient. Nothing got blended away. That’s a testament to the quality and freshness of the ingredients. And my picky six year old who usually stops well short of the crust on each piece he eats in fear of getting any red sauce that isn’t hidden by cheese, he ate every bit of his personal pie. He usually treats dinner like he’s driving a hard bargain at a car dealership but there were no negotiations this day. And while we’re on the subject, the kids meal is a good deal. It’s a decent sized pizza, they can have a topping if they want and it comes with a drink for about $ 5. Another nice touch was the local sodas they offerred. Locally produced, small batch soda just tastes better. Maybe I’m a sucker. But I find it to be a differentiating factor. I was pleasantly surprised by the price of our meal. We had two adult sized pizzas with multiple toppings, two fountain drinks and the kids meal. What would you guess? Remember, this is hand rolled, hand made, fresh toppings, the guy standing there banging out mozzerrella, etc. I was thinking north of $ 40. Nope, it was $ 24. It seems like a simple concept and one that’s easily replicable. I would be surprised if they didn’t open more of these. The biggest challenge might be finding the right people to work there and then being busy enough that the toppings get turned over frequenetly enough to always be fresh. For all I know, this could already be a franchise but I really liked it and I’ll be back again soon. PS — I always hated Peace-A-Pizza and annoyed by their staying power so I was glad to see it replaced by people doing something so spectacular.

Really liked this place! A friend introduced me to it just the other day. Went there and got blown away by all the possibilities you had. Service was really friendly and we had plenty of time to look over our options. They were patient and accomodating. Ended up with a pizza with basil pesto, mozzarella, ricotta, chicken, pepperoni, Brussels, peppers and… Stuff! So delicious. I love the concept and will definitely be back!

Yummmmmmm!!! I really don’t need to say anything else, but I guess Unilocal wants a little more info. The vast number of options available for some may be overwhelming, but it’s just right for me. Pick the sauce; choose the type of cheese or cheeses; then add all the toppings you want. The possibilities are truly endless. What was really great though was the kind service. The staff is pleasant, patient, and friendly. They need a frequent pizza program or something because I’ll be there that often.

I am a little bit obsessed with this place – but for good reason! This is basically a make-your-own personal pizza joint. You pick the dough, the sauce, the toppings, everything! The ingredients are obviously very high quality and fresh and the selection is awesome. By the time you pay and get your drink, your pizza will probably be on its way out of the oven already. I have no idea how they’re able to cook so quickly, but it’s amazing! The employees are wonderful as well. They are efficient at moving everyone through the long lines quickly, without being even the slightest bit rude. As a first time customer, they were more than happy to make recommendations as well. The best thing about this place is Wine Wednesdays! You get a free glass with your meal – could it honestly get any better than that? This is easily one of my favorite restaurants in Ardmore. What’s not to love?
