I would drive 100 miles to shop & have lunch at this place. I have been coming here for years for all my vitamins, supplements, detox, non-dairy, vegan, hard to find organic items etc., plus there is a awesome lunch deli in the rear of the store that makes the best vegan food. YUMZZZZZZ! You are what you eat. I myself don’t always eat non-dairy, vegan & organic but I try. I’m not fanatical about it. If I don’t find the non-dairy/organic item that I need I don’t break down crying & curse all living things. I just use the regular. When I cook at home for myself, I always use all non-dairy products. I also have a(seasonal) organic garden where I grow all my own herbs & veggies. I have never liked sugar & I hardly EVER eat sugar. I don’t eat yeasty breads period. Every day of my life I eat at least 50% raw, most days more. I do drink alcohol but only occasionally. I detox twice a year, two months total, when I don’t drink alcohol at all. I do eat meat but mostly seafood & vegan. I don’t believe in «dieting» & when I eat out I eat mostly what I like but no more than 4 ounces. For me, eating out should be a TREAT, not a way of life. I also take raw probiotics & a supplement(meal replacement) twice a day & I love the one I get at Veggies the most. I have tried many but I always come back to the Flax Appeal/get up & go energy mix. I add all my extracts, that I also buy here, to it & it taste great, I never tyre of it. If you find you need a supplement, a cleanse etc., or you haven’t ever tried a detox, Tom is there to help. He will answer all your questions & give you the best advice. Everyone is different, you have to find what works best for you. When I need advice on a new detox, cleanse, new vitamin, or simply have a ear ache I go to Tom. Tom is the owner of Veggies. He is a fantastic nutritionist & is my go to herbalist pro. He has been there for me time & time again helping me find the right products for my lifestyle & all my health needs. Even if he doesn’t have what your looking for in stock, he will order it for you and/or suggest something better. If you haven’t been in to try the Brookhaven Café In the rear of the store yet, you need to stop by & have a nice healthy lunch. Trust me, you won’t even know your eating healthy it’s so tasty. They also have the freshest, tastiest organic salads in town. The curries are 2.die.4! Life is short & it should be enjoyed to the fullest. However, without your health it’s not worth a pot of beans. Everyone needs a healthy lifestyle & a health food store & nutritionist they can depend on. I know I do & I know how lucky I am to have Tom & Veggies near me. I love that Tom & Veggies is part of my daily life & routine. It’s a happy healthy one with lots of big smiles. A great big sincere Thank you to Tom! :) You owe it to yourself to be the best you, you can be. So, don’t wait! Stop by today, meet Tom, have a nice chat about your health & see what veggies is all about. You might just find a big, happy, healthy smile on your face too. Highly highly highly recommend :)

The restaurant in the back of this store, Brookhaven Café, makes some of the best vegan food I have ever eaten. It was so good the first day I went that I had to go back the 2nd day I was in town. I tried the shepherds pie, red coconut curry, and the haystack. Their cheese sauce is amazing. Super delicious food, and it really tastes homemade and like it’s made with love. Must try! The store is also nice and has lots of vegan grocery options and is reasonably priced. Glad there is a place like this in Ardmore.

This place, also known as Veggies, was recommended to me after asking for vegetarian fares. Its a Health Market, a mini grocery store and a dining place First, they serve lunch there everyday(except Saturdays when they are closed). The food is all vegetarian friendly and is pretty good. The place is called Veggies and its inside the Health Advantage Center. The rest of the place is a health market and a mini grocery store. You can get supplements, dry goods, fruits and some frozen stuff too. I got the vegetable lo-mein with terayki soy chicken. There were peppers and fake chicken, and the fake chicken tasted substantial(in a good way). I felt the dish was a tad bit salty, but much less than regular lo-mein(which the last time I had was in college). The next day, I tried her Brazilian Black Bean soup. I didn’t expect to fill me up, but it did quite well. And the taste of the black beans made me wanting more before I leave Ardmore. I’m giving this place 5 stars for it being unique in a town far removed from the city. It’s not a Matthew Kinney in OK city or the many creative vegetarian places you find in any city, bit food here during lunch is delicious and homely. Its comfort food that’s very healthy. If you are visiting and want something healthy, and if you go on around town, you’d be surprise how hard its to find a healthy meal/food source here, check this place out.
