Yeah it’s pretty hidden between the gas station and BK. No one was at the ice cream counter so I had to go to the register up front to ask for ice cream then the chick that helped me told me to go to back to the ice cream counter to ask for what I want, she gave me a receipt and sent me back to the register to pay for it, and proceeded to go back to the ice cream counter AGAIN to get my ice cream. WTF?! A lot of hassle for a $ 7 dollar triple scoop. Ice cream was good though. So whatever, they get 2 stars for the back and forth.

A well hidden Baskin-Robbins in a Mobil gas station on Osborne. You can pass by a hundred times & not notice that it’s there. You can buy the pre-packaged quart sizes in the freezer section, but if you want to fit some ice cream in a mini refrigerator, you can mosey on down to the ice cream counter & get pint sizes that are hand packed for about $ 5. Only came here since it’s near the Nikkei Gardens Retirement Community with each unit containing a mini fridge that tenants can use. My ice cream loving aunts can’t stand the nasty tasting Blue Bunny ice cream that they serve at Nikkei so the default place to get decent ice cream is the Arleta branch of Baskin-Robbins which is only a ½ mile away. My favorite places are Gelateria Bulgarini & Carmela’s Ice Creamery. Both are consummate stores to purchase the ultimate in ice cream/gelati in the LA area, but none are near Arleta. Baskins-Robbins is more than sufficient when compared to Blue Bunny. Fast in, fast out. The server was a very sweet high school student, and she helped us out. The price of the ice cream may be a bit high for the area, but this may be the only«premium» ice cream outlet in Arleta unless there is a Mexican place selling exemplary helados of which I am not aware.

Service is slow, if not paying cash you have to go wait in another line to pay. But it’s Baskin robins delicious ice cream.
