We visit many parks and this one was a 3 for us. I have 2 boys(1.5 and 4), it held their attention for about 30 min. Big structure had a lot to climb but not great for 1.5year old. Toddler structure was too little for him. They enjoyed the bouncy thing and Fire engine. Older one liked the rock wall and slides.

Cronin Park is Pioneer Park’s little sister. It’s a more reserved little sister who doesn’t cry out for attention but still has a handful of attributes that makes her lovely. So, if you seek a respite from the oft visited Pioneer Park, walk a few blocks northwest and visit Cronin. You’ll find a small playground with a handful of swings, tiny walking/biking path around the park, a few benches to plop down and a killer location just a few blocks from downtown Arlington Heights. This area of town is one of my faves due to its fab location nestled among lovely historic homes. While my kiddo isn’t ready to run around and play, this park is certainly on my radar for future *quiet* play dates!
