Closed about. 60% of the time without notice. Cost prohibitive for a family visit if you don’t shell out the big bucks for summer passes. Often overrun with Tweens and teens who are extremely loud and disruptive. Questionable water quality. Overall not a super pleasant environment.

The parking is ample and there are free lounge chairs to go around. Umbrella space is limited and so are the recliners but this is one awesome family-friendly pool. There is a zero-depth walk in on one end with mini fountains by your feet and a huge shower tower for the kiddies with levers and wheels to control the flow. Toss your balls around, jump, splash, and swim… but no running and no horse play in the pool. There are a few quiet laps for swimmers and a deeper end to separate the toddlers from the adults. At the far end is a stiff 1 meter diving board and a free-fall water slide. All the people are friendly and most of them are neighbors. The water seems clean all the time and the young staff are always friendly and helpful. The season family pass is highly recommended as it gives you access here and at Big Surf Wave Pool at Lion’s Park, too! No concessions so bring your own snacks and drinks. There are a few vending machines, though and a brand-spanking new Culver’s across the street that’s open until 11pm!
