Come on. Came here with 12 people. The service was actually pretty decent. The roof is nice of course. But the 4 floor separation is tiring. Bathrooms not on every floor. And the wings were dry, blue cheese was actually ranch, and here’s the«nachos».

There is a family of roaches living up at the rooftop(and prob in the kitchen too)!!! The one on the pic didn’t even flinch when I put the menu right next to it. It was loving the photo shoot. If you’re an entomologist come enjoy this exhibit. I saw one fly. If you’re with the health department, please come check it out. If you’re missing your third world country like me, come and remember why you decided to leave. Otherwise, stay away!

This is definitely a low-key, underrated rooftop bar in Arlington. My boyfriend and I just happened to walk by and wandered inside to check it out. It has an awesome view of the city and a great rooftop scene. The bartenders were super friendly and attentive AND they have Bell’s Oberon on tap. Huge score! We went on a Friday evening and it wasn’t very crowded. Definitely a hidden gem. Now that I know where it is, I’ll be coming back for sure!

The service is the worst I’ve ever had, MCDONALD’S ANDBURGERKING have better service, the orders were mixed up took 2 hrs to get my food… I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone not even the humane society at least the get feed on time…

I ordered the«four» egg omelet. If I went to the grocery store and bought two eggs and made an omelette it would have been bigger. The«amazing» chef and manager said restaurant eggs are smaller. Got to hand it to them, they never broke their horrible service routine and. Went with it. Not a brunch place.

Find another rooftop, there are plenty. Rooftop on a Wed was pretty light with people on a gorgeous sunny day(first alarm). Sat ourselves and ordered drinks and food. Draft beer drinks took too long(should have just ordered at the bar) and our appetizers, fries and shrimp, took too long, came out semi-warm, and the peeled shrimp weren’t even fully unpeeled. We had enough to taste and asked for the check.

Brunch review: I came for a brunch with a large party. The food is not much to write about but very decently priced. The drinks on the other hand. AMAZING!!! Get the Jack Rose you won’t regret it. The service was ok. We were in the main room. The view was ok it would have been better if it was sunny out. Anywhooo as others have said the happy hour is probably your best bet.

Went with my gf and her friend for a casual Friday happy hour. Walked in, hostess looked puzzled at us when we asked for a table. Looked around didn’t see one and expected us to leave, it felt like. Unbelievably horrible customer service. She handed us menus as we stood waiting for nothing. I don’t recommend this place as there are 30 better places 1 block west. We just dropped the menus and left … good move

Decent beer selection and I imagine the rooftop is nice although it was closed when I visited this place(even though it was a nice night). Service was good but the food was meh. Burgers were obviously frozen and just adding mushrooms cost $ 1 extra. Worst moscow mule I’ve ever had. Tasted awful and I’m definitely not a fan of crushed ice in mixed drinks! Fries were good though. We had an okay time, but probably won’t go back… definitely not to eat.

Went here on a Friday evening before catching a movie. The appetizer queso and chips was very flavorful and the chips were freshly made. My fish and chips left a lot to be desired. The chips were great but the fish was overcooked and tough to chew because of that. My friends fared much better with the Cuban sandwich and crab cake sandwich. The service was top notch, friendly and attentive, so because of that I would definitely try it again.

We went there to watch the game and get some food. It was pretty standard bar food, nothing special. The service was very slow, since it was packed. It was raining, so outside wasn’t an option and the inside was wall-to-wall with people. Meh, it was OK, overall.

Great place to have a meal and drinks when the weather is nice outside. You do have to walk up a few flights of stairs to get to the restaurant/bar itself(it is on the roof of the building), but there is an elevator available for use. I opted for the duck reuben. I wish the bread was toasted, as it got pretty soggy with the delicious aus ju. Otherwise, the duck was very tender. Drinks came in plastic cups.

It takes a lot to get me out of DC and into Virginia to eat. One thing that’ll get me there is a friend’s birthday celebration. My friend’s roommate planned the surprise at the Arlington Rooftop Bar & Grill. Little did I realize that this place is a sports bar — not my favorite. We were in good spirits when we arrived and luckily we were not actually sitting on the rooftop because it was chilly this evening. We were on the second floor where there was a huge bar area and many tables. They gave us the entire corner of seating. We all started with a round of drinks. The server initially seemed nice, but soon got overwhelmed. The bar became packed pretty quickly and soon it seemed that we had many servers although none came by very often. They’d take our order and disappear… for a long, long time. I must say it was about the worst service I’ve ever had in a big party. As far as food, I ordered the hummus and pita. It tasted like cheap store-bought hummus and cold pita right out of the grocery store. When I told the server I was vegan, and mentioned I was allergic to eggs and dairy(just as a precaution), she responded with«Well, that sucks.» Wow! Talk about insulting. Who the heck responds to dietary preferences or restrictions by insulting the customer? I must say I haven’t been that insulted in a long time. I could have responded with a rant about how her diet sucks by sucking the life out of animals, but I refrained. Eventually, I placed an order for the Quinoa Salad, which ended up not being a quinoa salad at all. It was a spinach salad with a little bit of quinoa and they forgot the onions. Considering how much money we spent there on food and drinks and how crappy the service was, I almost feel like asking for a refund! I got a $ 12 salad that was worth about $ 3 and chock full of insults. Not to mention that place was so loud between the people and televisions that you couldn’t even talk at a normal volume. I can say with utter assurance that none of wish to return to this establishment. There are like 500 better places to eat in and around DC. Don’t patronize this place.

Rooftop is really nice but both service and food are just decent. For example, beer cheese was watery and lacking taste, chicken was ovecooked in my grilled chx sandwich, and while the wings are good it’s 8 for $ 10… Really? The crab dip is delicious tho.

HAPPYHOURREVIEW: Went for the first time for a bon voyage tribute to a friend moving out of DC. We walked in around 630 and they were ready for us. It was kinda empty inside so after ordering a drink and some nachos, when we asked if we could transfer everything upstairs — there was no problem at all. The nachos were great — $ 5 happy hour pricing(but be aware that’s the basic nachos, no add-ons. We added chicken and the turned into $ 10 nachos). They’ve got a great drink selection. Once we moved upstairs, there was a decent group and great amount of tall tables to enjoy. It was sunset so the views were even better. Most everything was around the $ 5 – 6 price range until happy hour was over. I’d like to go again when it’s not happy hour to see a different side of the restaurant. To get to the roof is 4 flights of stairs but there is an elevator to accommodate. It’s a little confusing finding the front door if it’s your first time as you have to pass an Asian restaurant first and their front door is a bit pushed back. Overall I had a good experience and the location can’t be beat!

I stopped in on a Sunday evening for a few appetizers & this place was on point! The prices are excellent & the appetizers are very tasty and you get a nice size portion! I really enjoyed this spot!!! I just wish the rooftop had more shade to block out the sun. I will be returning

AND I’m a fan. I returned here for brunch on a nice sunny Sunday morning and was very pleased. FYI, they do not take ressies for the rooftop. But it opens at 11 so you should be able to carry your ass here in time before the crowd strikes. Excellent house made bloodys. Nice big portions, the chicken biscuit is the WINNER. I’m a real fat girl at heart and requeseted an ala carte biscuit with a side of melted butter and the server was awesome and accomdadated. I fully expected her to just hand me a dallop of butter so in that respect, service was outstanding. The inside area of the place is pretty cool too. I love this place. It’s my favorite rooftop in Arlington and the food and service are excellent too. I’d like to return for a nice sunset dinner on the roof in the summer.

Coworker: Where’d you go on Friday? Me: A place in Arlington. It was ok. That’s pretty much it. If you aren’t going here in the nice weather to sit on the roof, I don’t know why you really would go here. The service was hit or miss. Our server was really inattentive and we latched on to another girl who was working there(and was super sweet) and she helped us most of the night. The worst offender of the night was their margaritas. All sour mix. No alcohol. I never send things back. I actually sent it back and when they brought me a new one it was barely better. Blech

I actually quite like Arlington Rooftop Bar and Grill, which is why I suggested that Dana meet me there on a beautiful Saturday evening. I’ve never been late night, but only after work and in the early evening. The bartenders are fairly friendly, and the crowd is fairly chill, so it makes for a good time. However, I had some of the worst service ever. Between timing, overly sweet drinks, and not getting what I ordered, it was not the best experience. Our first server was just completely clueless and she disappeared until we had already asked for the check. The second server was friendly, but I think she was maybe overworked. They happily fixed our margaritas for us, which was much appreciated. It was my first time eating dinner there, and I was excited for my favorite thing ever, a grilled chicken sandwich. However, I got a caprese sandwich with a side of chopped grilled chicken. By that time, I was so hungry, I didn’t care. It was OK, nothing special. Fries were delicious though, and I highly recommend those, if you go. This another review that I wavered on. But between awkward, bad service and food that was not correct and didn’t stand out, I probably wouldn’t eat dinner there again, but I’d go back for happy hour if I could be assured a seat at the bar.

WORSTSERVICEEVER First of all the waitress Sofia S. Never mentioned anything about happy hour ending time. She took a long time to get back to my table. Took over 15 minutes to take and bring my first drink order. Second of all she charged us the wrong amount and when I proceded to ask to talk to her manager, she kept avoiding us. When the«manager» finally came(mind me, he never gave me his name) he was rude(as so was Sofia) and walked away as I was talking. When I said I wouldn’t pay my bill until someone explained me my check he threatened to called the cops on me. Finally Dan, another manager(I honestly think the first guy that came to my table was not even a manager, who in the service industry would treat a customer this way???) Explained me my check and I agreed to pay It was never about the money but the way I was treated. I will NEVER come back to this establishment and I’ll let all my friends know about this unpleasant experience. Also, the place has water leaking from their roof which keeps you from being able to sit in half their tables… Food wasn’t great and definitely overpriced. For someone that lives in Arlington this has been by far the worst service I have received in the Clarendon area.
