I was blown away when my girlfriend brought home some Bobby V’s burgers a few months ago. I typically stay away from food at sports bars but Bobby’s is totally different. Since then I’ve eaten at Bobby’s about a dozen times. Every burger is huge, moist, the meat caramelized, and delicious with the pairings of toppings. Nachos, fajitas, sandwiches, pasta… they are all amazing. This is also the only place that serves cheese sticks that are delicious. The cheese sticks are huge and gooey and the breading actually tastes good. I’ve never had that before. Try the cheese sticks. Last night we got the combo fajitas and the everything nachos. And I’m having a fajita for breakfast. Big plates. I don’t know if they use better raw ingredients, the cooks show more love in their work, or if there’s magic in the food. I’m a fan. And congratulations to everyone who works there to make it happen. This isn’t bar food. I put Bobby V’s up there with my all-time favorite restaurants.

Great food! Cold cold beer! Great attitudes! Great atmosphere! The Dimaggio stix are the biggest cheese sticks I’ve ever seen. Every aspect was great!

We went for lunch today. We ordered the border salad and my fiancé ordered the Philly cheese steak. The food was awesome but the service was even BETTER. Bruce was our waiter. I’ve gone here for several years and had good and bad experiences. Lately they have all been good and today was great. Bruce was attentive, upbeat, polite, and quick. He really made our experience all that it was. My fiancé has not been here as often as I have and on our way out he told me he would be back and if Bruce is there he would ask for him again. P. s. I have specific dietary restrictions… so I made several changes to my salad. The order came out 100% correct and very tasty! My fiances was so good looking. he took a picture and sent it to his brother before he devoured it.

Came here to pre-game before going to the baseball and I was super hungry and thirsty. I order a bacon cheese burger It was really good I enjoy the favor of the meat u could pick the type of cheese you want I like that as well. The fries came just like I asked extra crispy and they had enough seasoning on them. They have margaritas for $ 2.50 but they are very limey I sent mines back it was not worth getting. I recommend shots and any well drinks. Going back to try some more food!

Me and a buddy are regulars here. Twice now we’ve had waitresses that we constantly ask for because they’re so nice and friendly that it makes our experience enjoyable. The food is always good if you stay within sports bar food categories, and even then it’s still fairly good. Even when we don’t get the waitresses we ask for the staff is still very nice and friendly. We are regulars here and for good reason.

I will state that the only reason that I’m giving them one star is the waitress I’ve had both times has been spot on. The food is your average greasy bar food do nothing to write home about. Portions are large so bring your appetite or plan to share. The wait staff in general is horrid when it comes to common sense of basic customer service. As I said my waitress was spot on but the others congregate in a booth and gossip loudly, yell at a regular(I hope) «where ya been hooker?», and despite attempts to enjoy my meal near the congregation my husband and I had to basically yell at each other. There wasn’t a manager in site the entire night and if there was I sure hope he/she wasn’t part of the congregation tonight at the first booth. I doubt I will be back even though hubby is a rewards member. Feel free to teach out to me Bobby V’s at liveteachcreate(at)

The food was decent… nothing special. Good variety of menu items. We arrived right before brunch was over and I thought we would miss out on ordering because we didn’t have the quickest of waiters. I had about 10min to order and he said«brunch was just about over». Did that mean it’s over or we still have time?(Yes I had to ask for clarification.) Ordering brunch took me 10 min sadly.(That’s a longer story) The batter on the steak & the chicken tenders is really good, and the mozz sticks are a must! Everything else was just ehh with either little flavor, kind of luke warm upon arrival, or nothing special. The service of our waiter was the only thing that really disappointed about my experience.

If you’re a fan of old school Arlington nostalgia, if you’re a Rangers fan who still refers to Globe Life Park as «the new ballpark»(or at the very least, «The Ballpark in Arlington»), and if you consider bar food to be something of an American art form, then Bobby V’s is your place. If you’ve been there before, even back during Bobby Valentine’s days in Arlington, then honestly, nothing has changed. I don’t think they’ve cleaned the bathroom since Nolan Ryan was pitching.(I kid…) If you’re looking for a cleaner and slicker presentation, or anything with kale in it, you should probably go to any of the other gazillion chain spots bars that have cropped up across the metroplex like some kind of biblical plague. Bobby V’s has good food at decent prices, friendly staff, plenty of TVs running a variety of sports and a slightly musty nostalgia for a 90s Arlington that you won’t realize you missed until you walk in the door. That bathroom, though. It really is kind of scary boo. You’ve been warned.

Great food and great service! We ordered the«Fried Veggies» to start with zucchini and pickles. They were perfect! Extra crunchy! The mozzarella sticks were good too. My bf ordered the«Everything» Nachos and he thought they were alright. If the chips were thicker the dish would have been better. I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich and loved it! Fun atmosphere.

Baby screaming in the bar when the restaurant side is empty? Really? Patrons ask to be seated in the bar to AVOID kids & screaming babies! The food is par, so with this hardy distraction, we have no choice to give this rating. We asked the management & they said they were fine with it. Apparently, the parents, too. How sad for the patrons…

Wife and I stopped by for a drink, so I can only speak for the bar. Very friendly bartender and excellent drinks, meaning tasted like it should not trying to overdo the alcohol so that’s all you tasted. Nice atmosphere. Customers were enjoying their friends and a drink without getting drunk and loud. Plenty of TVs and good selection of sports.

Just visited this place and the food was wonderful. Service was a little slow at fibut they recognized it and corrected it without us saying a word. My husband had grilled chicken breast dinner. 2 big chicken breasts, salad, fries and broccoli. Everything was delicious including the broccoli which is typically a no no in a sports bar. I had one of the entrée salads which was huge. All the veggies were super fresh. Our food came exceptionally fast and the prices were very reasonable including beer and wine. If ever I’m back in Arlington I would definitely visit Bobby V’s again.

So, we came her for an early dinner on Sunday. 4 of us ordered the 1st and 10 tacos and they satisfied. My son ordered the club without tomato’s and the sandwich came with tomato’s. Not a big deal, my son took them off. We also had to have the waitress re-clean the table as it was sticky and dirty. If you have ever ordered the 1st and 10 tacos, they give you a small amount of their ranch, so we asked for two sides, as we have done 1000 times. When I got the check, the waitress hands it to me and says, «Sorry, we now charge $ 3.00 for each side, and If I don’t charge you, then I will lose my job». Really? 1. Thanks for letting me know about the new charge when I asked for the two sides. 2. The waitress gives me a guilt trip? And added $ 6.00 to my bill? I should have complained, talked to a manager, but didn’t. But for a waitress to make a comment like that? Bad, bad, bad… Bobby V’s. You lost customers that have been coming to your location for over 20 years. And, if a manager reads this… we came in at 4:20pm on Sunday, a 5 top up in the ring, and our tab, before tip was $ 75.00

My friend and I were trying to find someplace to eat late on a Sunday night, so we called Bobby V’s and found out their full menu is served until midnight, then they offer a late night menu until 130am… score! We started with a ½ order of fried pickles($ 4.79) which were freshly fried, hot, crunchy and just the right amount of greasy. Served with ranch dressing, they hit the spot. I was undecided, so I opted for a half order of the chicken nachos, without beans AND the NY Marathon chef salad. The nachos had a paltry smattering of chicken, some melted cheese and were served with little cups of jalapeños, salsa and sour cream. I have had these before and they were good, so I’m not sure what happened this time but they were in edible. The chips were soggy, like wet soggy, not just melted cheese soggy and the chicken was dry and flavorless. I ate one nacho and left the rest. Our waitress Natalie, noticed the full plate and inquired. I told her I didn’t like them this time and she immediately said she would have the manager take them off the bill, which s/he did. My chef salad was huge and their 1000 tastes homemade. Plenty of turkey, ham and cheese, along with tomatoes and quite a few slices of a huge cake rounded out the dish. A+ on this one. My friend got the bacon cheeseburger with fries. I didn’t try a fry and I don’t think he did either. He said his burger was good, but it was so big he didn’t finish it. Two non-alcoholic drinks, two 22oz. beers and our food only set us back about $ 35 before tip. Our waitress Natalie was quick, polite, helpful and non-intrusive…everything a good server should be. We really enjoyed our visit and will return. When I looked on for reviews, I was amazed to find not a single food pic, so I have added four to start it off!

I hadn’t been here in 10 years and Belinda had never been. It looked the same as it did the last time I was there. The place could really use a good cleaning and refurbishing. The food was very good. We both had burgers and were very pleased. It’s a really neat place and has awesome sports memorabilia in every part of the place. There are tons of TVs so wherever you as it you can see a game very easily.

Came here for the history and was not disappointed. The food was ok, although it is harder if you don’t like meat or salad. Had some fried Zucchini and Artichoke Hearts. They were good and cost about $ 8. The drinks(OJ and Root Beer) were more that the appetizer. Service was good, and had a good time wandering around looking at all the memorabilia on the walls. Any Rangers fan should go once if they live in Arlington.

Bobby V’s is another Arlington staple that I want to stick around forever. I just don’t want to be the one that frequents it. It’s good. It really is, but it’s faltering and falling apart. I still come back a few times a year and I always enjoy myself. I’m the type that really loves it when things look the exact same as they always did and Bobby V’s holds true. You can tell the period from the NFL helmets lining the walls. The Oilers are up there. The Bucs still have the orange pirate logo. I’m pretty sure they still have the old Patriots helmet as well. One the one hand, this makes me incredibly happy. The tables covered in trading cards from decades past. The jerseys are all still there. But on the other hand, it’s all rotting. The upkeep of all this memorabilia is slim to none. Same with every other aspect of the building. It’s not just old, it’s almost decrepit. The bathroom comments are all spot-on as well. Just hold your breath. It doesn’t matter when you’re there or how early(or unused) the bathroom is. It just smells awful. Every time. Without fail. The booze is pretty cheap, so this is alright. It’s not the best selection of beer(or even a good one), but there’s tall Shiner for a decent price. Frozen margaritas are usually on special. The entrees are decent. Not great and not all that bad either. The best things on the menu are the appetizers. Nicely priced and pretty large. The cheese sticks are huge and flavorful. The chicken tenders could easily count for 1.5−2 tenders each. Really, all the appetizers are pretty damn good. TVs everywhere. If there’s a game you want to see, I guarantee it’s playing somewhere in here. And if it’s not they’ll put it on one for you. Hell, in the bar you have your own little TV that you can change yourself. NTN Trivia is also an option for slow sports nights. If you’re the sports bar type, this is a solid local option. If it were kept up better it could be the best option.

Really… its not you, its me. Who hasn’t been there. A decade ago, which is about when I first started going here, I would have rated this four stars. So why three stars when I finally get around to reviewing it years later? It’s not Bobby V’s fault. The food has remained consistent over the decade. This is and always has been my wife’s top spot for fried pickles. I am not a fan myself, but she always compares others to theirs. And they continue to make some of the better cheese sticks you will find in the area, in my opinion. They are much larger than normal, with a crispy exterior while maintaining the gooey texture of the interior cheese. And the nachos are pretty dang good. The televisions are abundant, the bar scene always seems vibrant(I think you can even smoke in there, given the way they have it separated out). Why, then, after a decade, do I find it so difficult to maintain much enthusiasm for the place? Is it because I have witnessed both interior and exterior slowly deteriorating over the years with little in the way of maintenance, serving as the perfect metaphor for my encroaching old age? God, I hope not. Maybe the thrill is just gone. I get the same thing every time I go. The menu has changed hardly at all in a decade. It’s not Bobby V’s fault, I suppose. So give this place a try, if you haven’t. Maybe you can work up some love. They will serve you good food if you let them. I’m just gonna wander down the highway to one of those new, hot young restaurants…

Great full bar with cold drinks. Lots of regulars at the bar and dining. Same servers most of the time and the service is quick. Several servers have been there for years. Same managers for several years. Usual bar food with a few salads thrown in. Good burgers, sandwiches, and appetizers 1 golden Tee Live(if that’s your thing). Tons of TVs inside and one out on the covered patio. Older building, atmosphere is 90’s sports bar with tons of memorabilia.
