Campus Bookstore

This was my first time coming to this bookstore! I usually just go to the UTA bookstore for all of my books, but this time around UTA ran out of the book I needed! On the second day of classes!
So we came here and I’m really glad we did. They price match! So I’ve heard. I’ve never actually done it myself, but two of my friends have price matched Audit Accounting textbooks with Amazon.
I’m giving this place 5 stars because the staff is AWESOME and super friendly!!! You are not allowed to browse through the shelves of books because they’re behind the counter, but just tell them the course and section your looking for and they will search it out for you!
Now I don’t know if the book I needed was just really expensive or not, but I rented it for $ 156 as opposed to buying it for about $ 230. That’s a lot for an Economics book! However, I asked the lady if they try to be competitive with their prices and she said that they research UTA, Chegg, and Amazon, and always try to beat their prices. Again, I haven’t been able to vouch for her, but I would definitely come back to this place if needed.
They also have Greek life shirts, and UTA merchandise to purchase! The real reason I gave this place 5 stars is for the little puppy they have that walks around the store. So adorable!

Cindy makes sure you get what you need and does it right the first time. It’s obvious this is an owner operated business, she takes great care of the customer!!!

If you’re buying or renting textbooks, you’re going to take a hit more often than not. When I have time to bargain shop, I’ll look online for older or international editions and ask friends for hand-​me-​downs… which sometimes works and sometimes doesn’t. Sometimes you’ll be fine with the older edition for most of the class, but when it comes down to the final none of your review questions match. Sometimes the international edition you ordered off eBay comes in weeks after you needed it.
I’ve had it come up once or twice where I’ve needed a book *right this second*, and Campus Bookstore did alright by me. When they didn’t have a book I needed on-​hand, staff immediately coordinated with their Denton location to get the book in. Prices are the same or lower than the other nearby bookstore, and hours are pretty accommodating.
They’ve met my needs.

What campus bookstore doesn’t have scantrons? This one doesn’t. What a waste of time!
