Chilis has always been my go to bar/restaurant. This is from many states I have lived in. Omg this is the worst, unclean Chili’s I have been in EVER. It hurts me to give this review, but maybe they can improve and then I will return. Reviews have to be better. I’m one star because they probably will not post.

I would like to give Chili’s more stars, but I didn’t even have a chance to order. We were promptly greeted at the door and asked for a table of two. The greeter said, «how about the bar area?» No, we want the restaurant area. Seven minutes later we walked out because no other employee came by — wait staff, food runner, manager, etc. This was 1200pm on a Saturday, seriously?!? The restaurant wasn’t even crowded — lots of empty tables. No one even approached us as we exited. The service seems to be getting bad at Chili’s which is sad because the food is not.

Servers look sloppy and unkept. Bartender didn’t have their shirt tucked in and had to call him out on being on his phone to get served. Managers looked unprofessional, dirty and clueless.

I went with my 3 kids and a friend. Our waiter was very good and all our food came out together and warm. It was all great. The only think I’m unsure about is paying at the table with the zoisk think or whatever it is. The water kept checking back with our table at the end because he was unsure if we were paying with cash or with the tablet thing at the table. I can see where that would cause some confusion. Overall, great food and great service here.

Food is delicious! Ribeye with butter, steamed broccoli, skillet potatoes. Lemon Drop Martini. Server, Alex is the super, duper best! Check Out video I posted! To all

I think I am just disappointed in the direction Chili’s is going. I miss the old menu and having a waiter working for tips! Now you can order thru a remote control from the table. Not my kind of experience im looking. I also can tell they are steam lining their menu with food that is obviously brought in pre-made and they just heat the dish or fry it up! This location seems to always be overwhelmed even when the place is not that busy. Which i do not understand now that they have automated order computers and limited menu items. I want the old chilies back!

Walked in to an empty front and no one to seat my family … We waited quite a while until someone finally showed up to show us our seats. When we sat down our waitress took our drink order and this too, took way too long. We put in our order and about half an hour later, our waitress comes out to tell us that there’s some sort of «disaster» in the kitchen and that she will bring our food out as soon as she figures out what is happening … More waiting — when the food finally comes out, the Mac n’ cheese I ordered is burned so it has to be remade, the celery that came with my buffalo wings were soggy, and the ranch was watery. Sigh. Save yourself a trip and head to the Chili’s in Mansfield. They have better service and make the food properly!

I went to chilis with my best friend that I had not seen in while. They sat all of the customers directly next to each other but had multiple empty sections that they could have opened up. The food was decent. It was 2nd choice bc corner bakery had just closed and we didn’t want to drive around looking for restaurants. I would not choose this restaurant but I will go again if there is nothing else open

Apparently they don’t accept temporary drivers licenses. My fiances wallet got stolen and that’s all he has for now. I was a trainer at an east Texas chili’s and know for a fact that they accept temporary drivers licenses. If the servers are that scared to serve a beer to a valid id, then something is wrong.

BY far my favorite Chillis in the Mid Cities Area. It may be packed at times but it’s worth the wait. Food is always hot when it gets to the table. The staff is great and always checking on your table every 5 minutes or so. Great Location BESTMARGARITAS in town!!!

Today my employees wanted to eat here so I called our order in. When I walked in; there was no hostess to greet me, so I walked to the bar assuming they would have my order. The guy informed me the Togo was around the corner. So I walked around to the corner and agin no one acknowledged me, so I waited. The Togo girl was super nice, and had my food ready. She didn’t open up each box to ensure all my food was there, nor did she offer any condiments to go with my food. She did offer a cup holder considering I was carrying three drinks, and as I walk out with a huge bag of food for three and three drinks I had no one assist me with door or a bye thank you! All in all the food was not good and management needs to get their team more welcoming and a friendlier staff. For those reasons I will not be going back there. :-(

Giving it a star cause I have to so I can leave a review. Let me start waitress was great. Mngr was very unprofessional. My spouse ordered nachos. After biting into it he realized it wasn’t a stale chip he was tryin to chew it was broken glass from a plate. Found other pieces in plate as well. Mngr came to tell us it was just broken glass not a bug. That my facial reaction was too much. I let him know broken glass is a big deal and I react the way I want. It wasn’t packed so not like customers knew what was going on. I told him he came to table all wrong and I was thru talking. He had waitress comp it all and went into hiding. I will be complaining to corporate. Biting into glass is very serious. Glad he didn’t cut his inside of mouth or swallowed it. Won’t be back.

I just have to rave about the Fresh Mex Bowl, it was everything I wanted that night, something filling and healthy. The server was funny and helpful and the dessert was the perfect ending(I believe it was a brownie with ice cream) Yum!

This franchise is better than average for the chain. I recommend the burgers(Bacon with crispy cheddar is my favorite) with sweet potato fries. They have recently changed the menu for the better, and unlike some reviewers of this location I have had okay to excellent service. Most food items here are palatable but not extraordinary.

Two stars because I have a beer. Minus three because I am waiting. As I write this I am sitting in an empty section at a full restaurant. About 18 tables. An entire 44 covers. And there is a twenty to thirty minute wait. Why? Understaffed… Maybe even poorly managed. It is not my place to say. I just don’t know. What I do know is there are around 20 people waiting to be seated. All being told there will be a twenty minute wait. No one being seated while at least 10 people have left. I understand it takes time to clear a table. But that time starts as soon as the Busser starts clearing them. No Busser. No waiter. Just beer and waiting.

If there was a zero star rating they would have got it. Hair in both entrées. Appetizer and entrées came out at the same time. Was delighted to find out that even though I have to check myself out at a monitor on the table I still had to wait for my waitress to key something in on the computer before I could leave and after paying was forced to spend more time completing a survey. To top it all off all we were offered for the hair situation was a desert of the managers choosing that we passed on we had enough hair covered chillies food for one day take my advice and go anywhere else or just stay home and chew your own hair at least you know the last time it was washed

The man friend and I recently visited this location after he got out of the hospital and were craving some grub. I had the 6oz steak, and he had potato skins or something.(I was way too absorbed with my deliciousness.) Our bartender/server was nice. The experience was nice. My steak was delicious and cooked perfectly. But then the check came. The initial check was correct; after he went to run my card, it came back to be $ 13 more. I know he accidentally charged the wrong table. It was fine. He said he fixed it. Cool. I regularly get emails from my bank letting me know when my card was pre-authorized or charged. As we were walking out, I got an email saying I had a pre-auth for the incorrect amount. When I called the bank, they said that was the only charge they’d gotten thus far and to check back later. I checked back later, and that was still the only charge I’d gotten, and the incorrect amount was no longer in my bank account. After a brief discussion, they told me to go ahead and call the location to see what they would do on their end. Useless. The manager was completely apathetic. He said they’d already done their part to fix it and was not in the least bit concerned. I eventually got frustrated trying to speak with a brick wall. He asked me why I was getting so angry. I kindly informed him it was because he refused to do anything about my situation even though it was their mistake in the first place. Again, I was met with apathy, and I’d run out of energy by that point. Said manager did not get my name, phone number, email — anything — to contact me and let me know he would be following up on the situation. Social media wins again. I had checked in via FourSquare, and whoever runs the Chili’s Twitter account was asking about my meal and whatnot. I asked the person on the other end if there was someone I could contact about a billing issue and the manager’s lack of caring. Fast forward to an immediate response saying they would investigate the situation, and a phone call today from a wonderful lady named Becky who is this manager’s boss. Becky was the exact opposite of this manager. She heard me out without interrupting, expressed empathy, offered to resolve the situation with me and to speak to the manager. That’s really all I wanted in the first place. I will continue to visit Chili’s — especially the Irving location off of 183 and any of the Austin locations. Just not this specific one. She was very kind and apologetic, and too bad she wasn’t the manager I’d spoken with that day, otherwise I’d probably come back. So breaking it down. Food/customer service(from bartender): 4 Customer service from Becky: 5 Lack of customer service from manager: 1(0, if possible) Thank you, Becky. And to the Chili’s staff at the Cooper location, I’m sorry you have to work for this guy who could give a damn about anyone who steps foot into this establishment.

Tried the new Beef Enchiladas for lunch on Wednesday. I am a cheese enchiladas fan and wanted to order them, but for some stupid reason, I went against my grain. Here is the good– I liked the rice and the black beans. Fresh and not as heavy as traditional Spanish rice and refried beans. Here is the meh– I thought the beef enchiladas were flavorless, and did not notice any seasoning in the beef. Very little ancho sauce and the melted, three cheese blend was non-existent, and when delivered, my Enchiladas had that, «been under a heat lamp too long look and taste» . Here is the great– I loved the corn and black bean salsa. I just needed more for the bland enchiladas. Next time. I will try the cheese.

As noted by Terry D., «Chili’s is a Chili’s». The meals that I have aren’t overly salted but are just to pleasing my appetite at that time. Normally I will have a burger, soup and salad or my favorite chunk chicken salad and it’s always on point. Frozen Presidenti Maragritas and shakes are good as well…
