I went to this club to see some old friends perform. Turns out this is a beer bar. I don’t have a problem with that at all. I should have called to find out because I would have brought a bottle of the hard stuff to share, my fault not theirs. This club has everything a good dive bar should have except a friendly bartender. I won’t go into too much detail except to say we were there a good 1.5 hours and were only able to get 2 beers each. While the bar had a good crowd we didn’t have to stand in line we just could not get service for the most part. It could have been because we were unfamiliar but who knows. They had the band playing outside, sound was good, the lighting was a little primitive though. Lots of nice bikes to look at, several fires going, jello shots being shared freely by another guest. It was a good time. There was little to no seating out back, none available while I was there but what do I expect arriving after the first set? Had I known I would have brought my own chairs because their patio is fantastic. I would love to return again and enjoy an evening out there but I’ll be sure and bring my own seat and some kind of liquor to share. I need to buddy up with one of the regulars so I don’t get left out of the loop as far as getting a cold beer next time.
