Berkeley is a true artist! She added incredible color to our special day with beautiful bouquets, corsages, and boutonnieres. I sent her some ideas for what I had in mind, and she added to and expanded my ideas by sending some of her visions along. We included black centered anemones, per her suggestion, which were super cool and unique. My bridesmaids commented that their bouquets were prettier than the ones they had as a bride on their wedding days! My bouquet was perfect — exactly as I imagined. And she included two mementos of loved ones who have passed away, to make it even more special. She was easy to work with throughout the process and offered the best pricing of any local florist I spoke with. Talented, friendly, and professional.

I was having a really hard time finding a florist and deciding what flowers I wanted to use for my wedding. I am so thankful and happy that I found Dahlia Floral Designs. Berkeley was pleasant, professional, and fun to work with. I gave her some general ideas and she came up with beautiful designs for the bouquets and centerpieces. I really appreciated that she sent photos of the flowers she suggested using. It helped me see how everything would look together and also gave me an opportunity to ask to use a different flower. She also came up with unique altar arrangements for us. Many people at my wedding were extremely impressed with the flowers. I highly recommend her!

Berkeley at Dahlia Floral is just amazing! I really am not good with flowers and had no idea what I wanted. She put together the most beautiful bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages for my wedding. I could not have been happier with the arrangements that Dahlia Floral Design created for our wedding! Berkeley really listened to what I was looking for and brought it to life. She identified the flowers in the photos I brought and provided alternate suggestions for blossoms that were not in season or not in my budget. There is no other local floral designer with a better value or more personalized service. The final product was beautiful in person and in photos.

Berkeley is an amazing floral designer with a passion for taking outside of the box ideas and not taking your entire budget for the wedding. I had an upscale DC wedding and it was featured in the Washingtonian magazine. A great compliment to everyone’s hard work. Back to the flowers, from the cake flowers to the boutonnieres, the color schemes and ethereal feel was accomplished. My centerpieces were 3 – 4′ tall and all hydrangea family which are very thirsty flowers. All of my centerpieces were mint condition and she even jazzed up my cake room table. She goes above and beyond and does everything in between. She is the best and you will not be disappointed. When I was in the process of planning my wedding, I was living overseas which made consulting with vendors very time consuming and stressful… except for my flowers! Berkeley and Dahlia Floral Design were a lifesaver. Communicating solely over email, I wasn’t sure of what flowers I wanted, what arrangements I needed and what would look best, but I did know the feeling that I wanted in the room. Taking my vague ideas of a warm, romantic, and vintage feel, Berkeley was able to create beautiful bouquets and centerpieces that conveyed exactly what I was picturing in my head… down to the strands of pearls in the centerpieces and accenting my bridal bouquet.
