Denny’s

Such a bad experience never again (SABENA). Unhappy waitstaff, long wait for food, incomplete orders, cold food, etc. New management doesn’t seem to get it about the need to maintain a stable customer base. We do have other options.

I want everyone that reads these reviews to follow the dates od the reviews. The early dates are back when Bob owned this dennys before the eastern Indians bought it.
My wife and I used to eat here at least 2 nights per week.
The service went downhill, the cleanliness went down hill, and the quality and portions of the food went in the tank.
We will never eat there again, and all of the waiters and waitresses that worked there in the heyday have moved on as well.
Bob, we really miss you.

Today is my husbands birthday, he said he wanted to go to Denney, s for his breakfast. We both really like this particular Denny’s. They didn’t seem to be very crowded. We brought our two sons. It was completely different today.
It was so cold, that I started to shake. I thought maybe I just didn’t feel well. My husband and sons assured me it was really cold in there. At first I ordered water to drink… but when the next waitress asked, I changed to hot chocolate. To warm up. We hadn’t even ordered our food yet. My son blamed the slow service on me because I ordered the hot chocolate.
I was still shaking and my feet were so cold! I literally got in my purse to take a tranquilizer to try to stop shaking.
The waitress finally came to our table and we all ordered. She was pleasant. Everyone of us enjoyed the food. I pretty much asked for a to go box, so I could get out of there and warm my frozen feet in my car.
I tried to go to the bathroom as my husband was paying… it was being maintained. I over heard the waitress say that my husband had to order a special breakfast in order to get the FREE breakfast. How do you find that out? She agreed JUST for this time she would allow a $ 7.00 deduction. Remember everyone you have been warned!
On the way home my son told me that I was lucky that I couldn’t use the bathroom, cuz he said that his was absolutely freezing in there.
$ 54.75 I was glad to give to get out of there!

Service was great — but I’m almost 100% sure the bathrooms have never been cleaned… Makes you wonder what the kitchen looks like.

First encounter was with a waitress on her way to the bathroom who seated us. Only way we knew she was going to the restroom was because she openly shared it. After being seated we waited for 15 minutes without a server even asking us for our beverage order but at least 3 servers walked by our table attending to other patrons. We finally decided to get up and walk out after listening to a server on the other side of a partition talk about playing an assailans creed video game instead of attending to us. Extremely poor quality service, will not ever recommend to anyone. Dennys has always had more to offer than this.

This place has really gone downhill. A few years ago this Denny’s was managed by a man who was highly engaged leading to a professional staff, delicious food and a warm atmosphere. He moved on and now this place has changed for the worst. the last 3 times we have visited this restaurant we have had to deal with some of the most abrasive, unprofessional servers we have had the misfortune of of coming across. Today was the worst, the woman that seated us was upset with the world and it actually made my wife and I feel pissed. Then there was the server who would YELL «door!» every time she would go through to the kitchen. I get safety, but to yell a warning so loud and sarcastically that it interrupts my meal is ridiculous. There was I kid in a buser shirt wandering around like a zombie and last, but not least there was the cold, tasteless food that never turns out that way at any other Denny’s. 3 different time 3 different unique terrible experiences. I have to say our server (Zach) was very pleasant which was a breath of fresh air. If you chose to go here you will see what I mean; then you will kick yourself for wasting your money.

There are actually very nice Denny’s locations that are clean, have good food and have an appearance that ownership cares.
Unfortunately, this location isn’t one of them. It’s cozy, has friendly staff, attentive and caring. It’s just… dirty.
The coffee I had gave me serious bubble guts. I’ve never eaten the food here but I know Denny’s can serve up a killer breakfast. Sorry, Denny’s. Either give this location an overhaul or keep getting bad reviews.

Way too slow to seat us; everyone crammed into the same small seating area; inattentive service; food didn’t come out in order; appetizer portion was way too small for the price; sides forgotten…
We will NOT be back.

Consistent food here I like to come here when there’s nothing open for late night snacks. Service is pretty good also!

Great place for late night food in the area. Typical Denny’s food which isn’t a bad thing. Pretty good customer service here, especially with the late night staff.

Had to wait forever. While we were standing for eternity to be seated the only visible employee was vacuuming the carpet. Food was typical Denny’s.

My best friend gave me a gift card to Denny’s that I have been carrying around for a year! Today was the perfect day to stop in. The menu is consistent, the service was friendly, and it’s clean inside. Conveniently located just off the interstate we were able to indulge in a filling meal and get back on the road. Might be another year until the next time… but it was good.

Visited this location today. The service was decent as expected and the food was standard for Denny’s. The big thing that bothered me was the overwhelming feeling of filth. The establishment is in serious need of not only a great cleaning job, but all new serving ware, a new dishwasher, and a new operator of said dishwasher. (We returned coffee cups with obvious grime, that I actually thought may have not been washed at all.) I never normally would go to Denny’s, but my grandmother insisted this one was a good one. I get a sense of community bond with the staff and patrons… but y’all really need to spruce that dump up… starting with the cobwebs in the ladies’ restroom. And making sure the coffee cup you give me doesn’t have the lipstick from the gal who used it before me.

I mean it’s Denny’s. Standard Denny’s food. However, it really all comes down to your server. I come here maybe four times a year. I’ve had great service and hot food as well as a waiter that didn’t care that gave us cold food, left us alone for 45 minutes, and never refilled our drinks. We tend to get better service when it’s busy as opposed to going there in the middle of the night.

Worst food But good service.

Its not bad. I got a Super Bird for breakfast, awesome! Asked for seasoned fries, got regular. Everything else is just the same as any other Denny’s, cept little more red neck out here, love it.

Don’t stop here for the WiFi or the scrambled eggs. The first will piss you off and the second will make you wonder why you thought you were hungry.

The staff is so friendly! Very nice and attentive waitresses made us feel welcome. My daughter and I sat at the counter and had a great meal — turkey sandwich for her and mushroom-​swiss burger for me. The food was fresh and delicious! The burger was huge and messy and the fries were great. When we are in town, we will eat here again!

For the most part it’s a regular Denny’s with the regular Denny’s menu. Good food and it’s fast. However, what sets this Denny’s apart in my mind is the employees. The manager at this location is always one of the nicest and friendliest guy when I go in there. And it really seems like it is a good work environment. Everyone pitches in. I go in to pick up take out more often then I go in and sit down, but every time there is always at least 3 employees that ask if I’ve been helped or need anything. I totally appreciate a work environment where everyone chips in, nobody is too good to seat a customer or bus a table.

I went to see the tulips last week with my friend and her 78 year old mother who was visiting from West Palm Beach. On our way up we were hungry so we decided to stop in at Denny’s for breakfast, we figured it would be a safe bet.
From the parking lot outside it looked pretty busy but as we walked in we were seated by an attractive hostess boy and noticed how big the place was. I think this is the biggest Denny’s I’ve ever remembered being in. Anyway we are seated at a big booth with a very clean table, meaning no sticky syrup stuck on the table. I hate sticky syrup tables and thankfully ours was clean and stick free.
We all ordered breakfast and the food was on par with other Denny’s I’ve been too and maybe it was even a little bit better but not sure I could have just been really hungry.
If you’re ever heading up north and start getting hungry right before Arlington stop in here, plus the ladies room was clean and fully stocked. Not trash on the floor or anything.
