Donut palace is everything you’d expect in TX. It’s got kolaches with jalapenos in them served by asian immigrants. Everyone thinks King of the Hill is a joke… it’s Real if you live in TX. I grabbed a few donuts while I was hanging out before Thai massage class in Arlington. I can’t say that I was blown away but there were locals all over the place. It’s hard for me to rank donuts in a way that’s memorable but what I had was good.

Évaluation du lieu : 2 Austin, TX
Being set in between a whole bunch of schools in the Martin district of the wonderful quiet town of Arlington, Texas, Donut Palace is definitely one of the best placed fried dough shops in town. Unfortunately, the offerings found at this generic establishment don’t really come up to par. For example, the mushy, sticky, oily blueberry muffin surely came out of wholesale package or something. The cinnamon twist was overglazed – so much so that the cinnamon flavor was nonexistent. Donut Palace is not my first choice for anything donut-related, but then again, it doesn’t have to be. Arlington is truly a town that is chock full of local mom and pop shops that crank out the oily, starchy goodness.
