Love this place! $ 10 and you get so many varieties to try. My favorite is th Lion King! If you want to ’ get your feet wet’ with a bigger selection, try It!

If you eat here, it’s going to be bad. I mean bad because you’re going to gorge yourself on so much delicious sushi that walking back to your vehicle may require the assistance of a wheel chair or forklift. Mmmmmmmm unlimited *GOOD* sushi. I love how we as Americans take a typically healthy food and make it unhealthy by taking it to excess! Or is that just me? Anyway, that is exactly that I do here and love it. Other places…$ 8 for a roll? It’d take like $ 60 to get full if very hungry, here $ 10 will do it and it’s just as good. 20 trips later to the sushi bar later, you’ll unbuckle your belt as if you are at a Las Vegas Casino buffet — while being much more satisfied. I love this place, 5⁄5.

Not bad if you want a quick sushi fix, good variety and very reasonable price for buffet. Although, I’m not a fan of all the experimental sushi plates i.e. crushed Cheetos. I’ve lived in Japan for over ten years so nothing will ever be the same, or even compare, as far as quality sushi goes. It does have a wonderful atmosphere and the service is excellent, very friendly.

A great clean place if your craving sushi for a low great price. I would recommend to anyone that is wanting to experience a lot of different kinds of sushi.

Not bad prices here and the staff are all friendly. I’ve been here twice for the buffet to-go box. It’s $ 9.99/pound and two pounds can more than feed two adults. The rolls are good but too many fried options. Would rather have more fresh/raw options to choose from. Otherwise it’s a good way to get some sushi to bring home when we don’t want to cook and can’t stomach the other plethoras of fast food options available locally.

Meeehhhhhhh. This is a popular place, I’m thinking only because it’s like the McDonald’s of sushi. Everything is already out for you to just throw it in a container & run out the door, or sit at a table inside if that’s your preference. You will notice the inside is similar to McDonald’s as well. There is a ton of sushi sitting out when you walk up to the buffet, Cheetohs & Doritos are crushed up on some varieties of sushi(weird & gross). Then there’s the fried bananas, sweet potatoes, zucchini, fried rice, potstickers, etc. Again, the McDonald’s of Japanese. If you are a sushi connoisseur, just don’t do it.

The sushi is ok, but it’s so much rice! I know all the filling is in the middle, but here, there’s double the rice than other sushi places. The seating is awkward and way too close for comfort. It’s bus you own and the frozen yogurt provided is an awkward peanut flavor. I would probably go again because it’s so close to my house, but nothing here is extraordinary.

I ate here yesterday for the first time and it was amazing! $ 11 for all you can eat buffet! There was a lot of variety and everything I ate was really good! I thought I was going to explode afterwards because I ate so much. I had a great experience and will be back again in the future!

Filled with sushi fillers such as imitation crab and tempura. I wouldn’t return and be sure to expect what you pay for.

Have been a regular here for years. A while back they changed the plates and silver wear to trays with paper and plastic utensils. It def doesn’t have the same great experience it did before, but the sushi has maintained it’s quality. My fav is the yaa special, SO good!

I highly recommended this restaurant. This is a very great place to go to when you craving for sushi. It’s a clean nice place for such a good price. All you can eat sushi for just $ 10.99. They do give out stamp for every visit per person so once you get full 10 stamps, you’ll get a $ 7 off for the next visit. They do catering and take out too if you don’t feel like eating out you could just bring it togo and they cost $ 4.80 for ½lb. They have good varieties of sushi and tempura stuff. My fiancé and I usually go here for breakfast and lunch. Sometimes we would be their first customer in the morning because we were so hungry and too lazy to make food. My all time favorites would be the volcano rolls and the shrimp tempura. Their soups are also good too. I love the ramen noodle and the miso soup. I wish they had some kind of fruit or sweet for dessert but well it’s fine without it because you’ll get full from all the sushi that you stuffed in your belly. The lady who standing at the cashier is super nice. I came here a lot and she remembers us which is a really good thing about their services. All the sushi chefs are very friendly too. They always give me eel sauce with a smile when I ask for some. I like how they decorate the bathroom with comics all over the wall which is a great thing because I’m germophobic and I hate using public bathroom. I’m very satisfy every time I go here to eat.

Almost all the sushi is imitation crab meat based, but it’s cheap and descent if you’re craving sushi. Just don’t expect high end sushi at this price. Nice selection, including salmon, eel, veggie, and chicken options, but several varieties were out when we stopped by.

Really enjoyed lunch! The pieces were perfect bite size! The rice to filling ratio was spot on and they had a pretty good selection. They also have some fun flavors :) I loved the ramen soup, has nice spice. Definitely worth $ 11!

I went here again with some friends and the ice cream is much better but you have to take it for what it is. Also as an update, it is better to go here for lunch and miss the dinner crowd. I like that they have stuffed jalapeños, tempura battered green beans and zucchini, along with an assortment of prepared meats which are adjacent to the sushi bar. Still a fun place to experiment.

I’ve been going here for a while, both before and after the refresh. I’m more of a traditional sushi person — nigiri shshi, vegetable rolls, stuff like that. I do like SushiYAA’s expanded hot choices. I’m a tempura nut, so being able to grab a tray full of beans, onion rings, zucchini, yams, and prawns and getting seconds(or thirds) for $ 11 is a big deal. They also have yakisoba, tonkatsu, spicy chicken, teriyaki chicken, fried and steamed gyoza, fried rice and steamed rice. The salad bar is more like a condiment station, with various goodies to put in the miso soup or ramen, and asian pickles(try the vinegared cucumbers). That they even have these makes me want to jump in joy. If you want inexpensive sushi and just hang out with a book or friends, SushiYAA is the place. If you want traditional Japanese or the ambiance of a sushi bar, then spend the money and go to one. I highly recommend Nagoya for that. Benihana in Irving has a great sushi bar along with a traditionally trained sushi chef. A note for the surimi(artificial crabmeat) haters — Japanese food scientists created this thing to combat the high price of crab and add nutritional value to their diets. It’s now a staple all over Asia.

This place is definitely a lot worse than I remembered but you get what you pay for. It is actually a buffet buffet now. You pay, seat yourself, get drinks and new trays and silverware yourself. I like the old way better, where they had waitresses to seat and take your drink order. I think it makes it feel less like a buffet. Food wise, it’s around 10 $ for a sushi buffet so your expectations can’t be that high. There are a lot of rolls to choose from but their main ingredients are all the same: ALOT of rice, avocado, and imitation crab meat. The only thing different is the toppings on top. After a while, everything starts tasting the same though. They have a side soup area with 2 kinds of soup; miso or ramen soup. I went with the ramen soup minus the ramen because it has a tad bit more flavor. The side dish area consists of peanut chicken, seaweed, and fried imitation crab stick and cucumber(?). Oh yeah, did I forget? Your food will be sitting on a piece of white paper(parchment?), which you replace before grabbing more food, on a metal tray. You don’t even get plates anymore!
Overall, I really don’t like the atmosphere or service style, feels like a prison to me. But hey, if you’re in the mood for cheap, all you can eat sushi, this is the place.

I used to come here when I was in college and decided to make a trip back. I was welcomed by an entirely new renovated restaurant and refreshed menu. I mean unlimited sushi and other Japanese offerings for about $ 12 is a great price! They have a very large variety of rolls available but no sashimi. But for the price I understand no sashimi and the amount of rolls makes up for it. They have the typical rolls that you see on menus everywhere and many others that I think they concocted. I noticed a few rolls have more rice than normal which caused me to scrap some rice off but other than that I didn’t find anything else unpleasant. They have a large hot area where they have many fruits, veggies and meats set up tempura style. In addition to other hot items, they had a cold bar area with a salad area, kimchi, a few cold dishes and items to put into soup. Their miso soup here was very delicious! The soup was probably my favorite part of the meal. A frozen yogurt machine is also available to patrons for their delight. I am a fan of their new tray system where you merely change out a wax paper sheet but everything else is in disposable form. From disposable silverware to their cups, I was not a fan of this. Reusable people! Reusable! My sister has a seafood allergy which I know you’re gut reaction is «why would someone with an allergy go to a sushi place?» Well because she likes their other items! The hot and cold areas she could almost everything. But they only had one veggie roll. When I asked if an avocado roll could be made for her because of her food allergy the chef said no. That was not polite of him at all especially this one word response all the while knowing they had all the ingredients to make the roll. They had rice, seaweed and avocado and yet refused to make her an avocado roll.

If you haven’t been to SushiYAA in awhile, you might notice that it has been completely remodeled. They have increased the price to $ 10.99/person, and now it is completely self service. For $ 1 more, you have to get your own drinks and throw away your own trash. Don’t get me wrong, you definitely get what you pay for. Not only is there sushi, but they also have a variety of stir fried foods, soup, and frozen yogurt. Keep in mind that most of their rolls are your basic California Rolls with a twist. My favorite rolls are the eel/avocado roll and volcano roll. I suggest getting the specialty rolls at the end of the sushi line. The basic rolls are mediocre.

Unlimited sushi for $ 10! You get what you pay for. It’s a great place to get decent sushi, if your on a budget or not willing to pay for an expensive meal. There are a lot of variety sushi options to chose from! There are also noodles, rices, fried food, and other side dishes to chose from. Frozen yogurt is the only available dessert option here, and you must use the 3 oz. cup provided. Ever since the remodel and new ownership, everything here is self service. And the utensils are all plastic, paper, and styrofoam now. It feels very wasteful because you have to use a new paper sheet each round for more food or when getting extra side dishes. But overall, my experience at SushiYaa has been good and I’ve never had problems with any of the employees. My tip I suggest, is to get and use the customer stamp card because after 10 visits, you get $ 7 off your next visit!
