I moved in in March 2014. Ownership changed April 1, 2014. It took weeks to get a copy of my lease. It took months of hounding them to fix the items I was told would be fixed when I moved in. Every time it rained the ceiling in my living room leaked. I’d report it; they’d claim they fixed; it would rain; ceiling would leak and we would go back through it again. I reported in May 2014 that the water heater was leaking. Katie in the Leasing Office and Shawn (Maintenance Manager) insisted it was my washing machine. Finally, in July I had them convinced that the water heater was leaking. By then the carpet in the hallway was sopping wet and spreading to the bedroom and dining room. They replaced the water and the carpet pad, but refused to replace or clean the carpet. I moved out in May, 2015. I hired someone to clean the apartment and the carpet. Did my final walk through with Sarah, Property Manager, and she assured me that everything looked and smelled great. Expected to get my $ 500 deposit back. I received a move-​out statement from the ownership stating that «Carpet had significant pet stains and pet odor throughout apartment. Full replacement of carpet and pad plus cost of pet treatment for odor.» Not only are they keeping my deposit, they are charging me an additional $ 682.43. I asked to see the apartment and the carpet. I was told that the apartment had already been cleaned and the carpet and pad thrown away. How convenient. #SlumLord

When I moved out of this property, I was owed money. That was more than six months ago. I sent a certified letter requesting my money back. I also spoke with the staff. In person, the property manager, Sarah Nance, told me that she would contact the «home office» so that they would call me later that same day. After no phone call, and no returned email, for a few days, I called again to get better contact information for the «home office.» Sarah Nance told me that she could not give me that information and she could also not tell me who owns the property.
Greystar owned the property when I moved in, and they maintained the property well, and I also knew who they were in case of issues with the property staff. And now, this unknown company owns this property. The staff could not resolve the issue of returning my money, and they refused to tell me who to speak to in order to resolve the issue. That is extremely disrespectful and unprofessional to their tenants, both past and present.

When I first moved to this complex in Dec 2012, I loved it — great staff, nice complex with rarely any disturbances at all… ownership changed at some point and when it did, it really started to not be quite as great. Noisy, dumpster divers, slow to get anything done unless they needed it from you. I guess I should actually thank them for letting things get so ghetto cuz it motivated me to buy a house :) however, if you are looking for a condo there are far better options with better ownership/​management in place. I recently moved and they assured me they’d call if I had any packages (xmas gifts) arrive after my move — I had 2 go there, they didnt call or email. instead sent my stuff back. None of it will get to me by Christmas now.
I was the 4^th or 5^th person to move in 2014 in my little area of the complex. All were either there when I got there or moved in shortly after.

Don’t do it, there are better options.
This place used to be owned by Greystar and it was actually really a nice place to live. Then Greystar gave up, sold it to a «private party» — as the new managers won’t tell me who own it now. Regardless, the new managers aren’t really sure what they’re doing and I’m not sure what they’re doing running a property. One can’t properly print a lease on legal paper and there are always miscommunications between maintenance and the managers. Additionally, rent is skyrocketing.
The pool was closed for several weeks for failing health inspections (right at the beginning of summer). It WAS a great place, but I don’t know what’s happening to it now.

Don’t do it. Just don’t. My husband and I were looking for apartments and when we came to fielder crossing, we thought we found our new home. They let us see two beautiful apartments but they weren’t the floor plan we needed. Ashley, the front desk lady, said she would have what we needed opening up soon. It was supposed to be available to look at August 28 with our move in sept 14. Well August 28 came & went. A did the following week. We called sept 10^th to see if it would finally be ready to look at since we were moving in 4 days we needed to know what furniture we could bring ect. Sconce we still had not seen the apartment AT ALL. That morning, Ashley said yes, the apartment was ready. We told her we would be there at a specific time and she said that would work out. We get there and the leasing office was locked and the sign said they old be back in a hour. Really? Ok. So we pulled around to our unit to see if the windows were open, anything. Luckily, the front door was unlocked and we let ourselves in. Thank god we were able to see this place before we signed any paperwork. The carpets were horrible. It looked like bad bad BAD pet stains. The linoleum in the kitchen was rolling up. The carpet was chewed up in more than one area. The baseboards were molding. It was horrible. To add to the filth of this place, there was absolutely no storage. Now, Ashley knew that we are expecting a baby in January hence the need for a bigger place. I would NEVER let my child play on these floors. I wouldn’t even want to walk barefoot in that place. Sad to say about a place we were wanting to call home for a month & half. I was so sad. After we looked at the unit, we went back to the office to see if anyone had returned. Not at all. So we left. Ashley called us back 5 HOURS later. I told her what had happened and she got loud and angry with me. Very unprofessional. She said we weren’t supposed to look at the unit because it wasn’t ready. But… Didn’t she tell us just a few hours prior that is was ready to look at? I tried to explain why we couldn’t live in the «ghetto» apartment because we have a baby on the way but she would not let me speak as she was getting louder and louder. She told me «well, we have 3 other people who are interested in that unit» go ahead! Let them see the mold and stains and filth that they can get into! I’m telling you, I was afraid I would get sick staying in that place. So, I agree with the other reviews that the property management has no idea of what they are doing. I have no doubt after they got our money and signatures they would not help with anything. I’m glad we got out of there before we were contracted in. We still need to find a place for ur little family to grow, but I rather be looking for somewhere comfortable than stay with this property. If you haven’t signed a lease here, I suggest you don’t. If you have, I hope you get to leave soon.

When I first moved in a few months ago It started with an aweful experience. I took a bath and my bathtub drained into my kitchen. This was a problem that was not addressed prior to move in because all the pantry cabinets were rotten and mildewed. The smell in my apartment was horrible for the first month! I expressed my concerns to the management but was quickly shut down with justification stating that I just have to deal with it because it was not their fault. Right! Also, I pay for pest control but i have to put myself on a list if I feel I need it. I have put myself on the list 3 times and no one has come. To do a service I have to pay for. The mandatory curbside trash pick up has forgotten to get my trash, and like to throw my trash can at my front door when they do empty it. Nice! I pay 15 a month for this service. There are so many fees on the monthly statement for rent, it makes you wonder what you are actually paying for. Obviously these fees were not presented upfront. I pay 100 more than I should because Im a first floor entry. I had to do this due to recent disability from surgery. The maintenance staff was the only person who expressed a genuine care to address needs. The management is conveniently closed when they want to be, but ironically open on the first of the months if it is a Saturday. Any othertime. You are lucky to find them not taking a 3 hour lunch or Friday and Saturday off completely. Horrible experience! Overpriced! Beware of the fake office staff! They really do not care for you after they get you to sign the contract! I cant wait for this lease to be up!!! Also, my car insurance went up 200 for just moving to this area!!! Bad sign! Stay away if your smart!
