Fillmore Pizza

I called in a delivery order. Gave my address. I was told my food would be delivered in p45 minutes. :44 minutes later, I got a call to tell me I was out of the delivery range. Terrible customer service. I can’t rate the food. Because I will never eat if.

BEST PIZZA IN ARLINGTON VA. BEST WINGS EVER. We ordered X-​Largemeat lovers, salad and wings. And it was all amazing. I recommend to you this place.

Absolutely horrible.
Delivery was late. There was no sauce for the breadsticks. My chicken Alfredo pasta is burnt, has no sauce (just oil), is flavorless, and is just a clumpy mess.
I don’t know how this place has more than one star.

The sauce they use on the pizza is… interesting. Not bad for it being a block from my house, mostly went there for convenience. I have yet to try other menu items, but the pizza didnt make me believe they would be good.

I ordered chicken nuggets, fries, and cheesy bread. All of it was soggy. Fries were burnt. Marinara had spilled all over the bread. I was sad.

Without comparison, the worst Pizza and wings I have ever had in my life. This place is awful, truly expect I deserve a refund as I had to throw out my food after a few bites. Let’s start with the «hot wings», they had no hot sauce whatsoever. If I wanted some chicken legs without hot sauce, I would have been better off going to Boston market. The pizza, was about the same quality as a frozen one from Giant. Only thing these guys have going for them is their super fast delivery, but that’s probably because no one is ordering from them. Stay away.

There is not that much of sauce. They did not include any sauce for Mozzarella sticks.
It’s like getting Little Cesar’s, but more expensive.

This is a review about Fillmore Pizza and EAT24, owned by Unilocal.I’d prefer to review the food I ordered but even after 2 ½ hours my order never made it to the cooks and never made.
EAT24 listed the restaurant as Sicilian Pizza. After waiting over an hour I went online, not on
, and found the business was Fillmore Pizza. I tried using EAT24’s customer service chat. After the chat window opened I write my issue, and waited. After a minute a CSR said «Hey». I replied, and that was that. No more chatting. The CSR never responded after that. I closed everything out and opened a new chat. The new window said a representative would email me. EAT24 had already charged my card.
I called the restaurant. When I finally got a hold of someone, he took ownership of my issue. Kudos for that. They told me they never received the order. They contacted EAT24.
A short while later a EAT24 CSR called me. He said he talked to the owner and apparently the means of receiving orders from them was turned off at the restaurant. He said the restaurant would still make the order if I wanted it. It was already almost 9 pm. I said no and to just give me a refund. I biked 32 miles on trails today, got home a little after 5 pm, and placed my order at 6:10 pm. Eating at 10 pm and then trying to go to bed and get up a 6 am didn’t seem sensible.
Both parties offered a «Sorry». I’ve used EAT24 before and this was my first dealing with Fillmore Pizza.

Fillmore Pizza is really good for what it promises. It is good, straightforward pizza — not fancy, not gourmet. Just competent pizza done well.
The crust is the weak link. it’s just so-​so. I always order extra sauce to add a little flavor that the crust fails to provide. The sauce is excellent, cheese flavorful and stringy, and toppings seem fresh and good quality.
If you want a pie delivered in south Arlington this is the place. My review of the fancier Lost Dog explains their problems with delivery.
So if you want good, hot, quality — if decidedly non-​gourmet — pizza, this is a good bet.

Not impressed with the delivery service. 90 minutes after the order was placed the food shows up cold. Most likely a first and last time for this place. Best of luck.

My Venezia sandwich was scrumptious! Not only was it ready on time, the ciabatta was warm, crispy and the prosciutto salty like I like it. The added Kalamata gave it additional juicy tanginess.
Superb lunch! I’ll have the other half tomorrow!
p. s. they even wrapped it in foil and papersack for me instead of using Styrofoam. (Styrene products are bad for environment and our health, so just ask for paper!)

I ordered food through grub hub and they changed their delivery area and didn’t notify grub hub or call me. Food never came and they never called me. I had to find out almost an hour past delivery time I was on hold with grub hub. Horrible place!

Perfect food! Ordered delivery. Got my food after 40 minutes. Thats good. The pizza was delicious. The salad was fresh. 5 star.

Just ordered from here for the first time. They did mess up our order slightly (wrong soda and flavor of wings) but we were still impressed. The pizza and wings were yummy ;)

Service is great.
Food was delivered hot and fresh. But, it was quite bland. If they work on making the dishes more tasty, I would order from them a lot.

Ok, let’s get this out of the way. I’ve NEVER had their pizza. I routinely order from this place because they offer CHICKEN NUGGETS by delivery. Hit a button: Nuggets!
Are their nuggets out of this world? No.
Do they bring them directly to my door? They sure do!
Nuggets and fries, they know what they’re doing!
The only knock: They generally take a REALLY long time to deliver their food and 9 times out of 10 they are later than their ‘estimated time.’ If you get drinks they are usually no longer cold and are super sweaty and whatnot.
Anyway, temper the expectations and enjoy the nuggets

I’ve only ordered delivery from this place but out of all the Arlington pizza places, this is the closest that comes to New York style pizza. Not too much sauce and cheese but enough to adequately cover the crust. Also, wonderful to eat cold!
The small pizza is a bit too small so order the medium for 1 person or large for 2 people (or dinner and breakfast!) Also, they’re nice enough to throw in some dressing on the side for free if you call in and ask.
And the orders are always prompt! They deliver within 30 minutes.

This place gets 4 stars for being pretty cheap and having a really low delivery minimum ($ 10). Full disclosure, the rating is almost entirely based on their sandwiches and not the rest of their pretty large menu. So if you’re looking to hear about their pasta or pizza, I’m the wrong reviewer.
The truth is the food is probably closer to a «3» in terms of quality across the board. I think that’s what happens when you offer every «Italian» dish under the sun. I’ve dabbled in quite a few of the appetizers and sandwiches. The appetizers ranged from good to not good… at all. But the good news is I’ve tried about 5 or 6 of their sandwiches I haven’t been disappointed yet.
So let’s talk sandwiches, cause I love sandwiches. In my experience anything you get from here that has oil in it will be a little heavy on the oil. I have ordered the Capri and the eggplant sandwich and in both cases I asked myself «Should I be eating this with a knife and fork?». I’d say I prefer a little extra oil so I’m not going to crucify them on it, but it’s a warning to anyone who might be put off by this. The amount of sauce they put on is a little on the heavy side, but not as heavy as the oil.
If I’m in an oil mood, I really like The Capri or Milano (the two or very similar) and eggplant. For more of a traditional feel the steak and turkey are great as well.
Again, this place gets an extra point for cost + delivery. They have a great 12.99 two sandwich + chips special. For me, this translates to about 17 – 18 bucks for 2 meals + me being lazy and not having to leave the house. I’m a big fan.

The place itself could use a little upkeep some paint, the storage space looked disorganized and I noticed that the certificates and menus on the wall. They had 3 different names (filmore pizza, Sicilian pizza and Lucianos). I saw the bags that they transport the pizza in for deliveries and they are not the electrical ones so if you are one of the first person to get delivery that night or use that bag then do your pizza might be colder then intended. I tend to pay attention to details just because I think if you don’t care enough for the small things then how do you handle everything else.
As for the food, I got the lunch special after reading reviews on Unilocal.I got a small pizza and a drink for $ 7.89 which was great. The food came out much faster than I thought but it looked good. I tried the pizza and the sauce was good cheese was pretty good but it was actually pretty cold It was not as hot as I would expect from a pizza right out of the oven. The cheese was not that stretchy but the amount was good and sauce tasted very good. The dough was a little soggy and I it took me about five minutes to get home so it wasn’t like it was sitting in my car or I have to go a long ways before I got home. The flavors were all there and it would’ve been a great pizza if the crust would have been crispy.

Alright, I can’t say much for the food served here other than the wings. So, for me, the chicken wings are delicious! The wings are meaty and perfectly made for my taste. Each and every wings are bigger than wings being served at B-​Dubs, Wings Plus, and other restaurant that I have eaten. Anyway, it’s my go to place when I give in to my craving of chicken wings.
Lastly, the price is just right.
