Tried this place for the first time after driving past it for awhile, and it wasn’t too shabby. The place was very clean and decorated nicely. The girl at the cashier was very friendly and seemed attentive(wasn’t sitting around on her phone waiting for the next customer). She greeted a regular patron ordering over the phone and another regular came into the store as I was waiting. I ordered a beef shawarma sandwich to-go which took a little over 5 minutes to prepare. The sandwich was definitely packed with meat! Only downside was the beef was a little dry. maybe needed a little more sauce. If I had to rate the flavor 1 – 10, I’d give it a 4. Nothing special. Definitely coming back to try the gyros though.

These gyros are amazing. I’ve never had one till I came to Gyros to go and I now love them. The location is a small Mediterranean joint that is small, nice, clean, and classy. The service was good and fast. This place is very authentic. The baklava is also delicious.

This place is the BEST!!! Close to home so we eat here fairly often. The gyros are huge and filling, we also get the hummus and baba ganoush(hummaganoush) in it ROCKS. Always busy but fairly quick service. Nice market in taco shop in the same strip mall… one stop shop

It’s been long time since I ate gyros, I used to work with Greek people and they made a wonderful gyros sandwiches, I was afraid to mess with that flavor trying something new that weren’t as good as those that I tasted long time ago, and guess what?, these are as good as the others!!! Perfect place to try when you need something delicious to eat, so don’t hesitate and be there!!!

Ate here tonight. I’ve never been in a place this clean and one that the service was this exceptional. We lived in the Middle East and this food compared with the best we had there. Food is a 5 star across the board. We had two different platters and they were filling and very well priced. You won’t be disappointed. Abdul, the owner, is an absolute clean freak and I love that. Makes you feel good knowing that the place is maintained in such a clean manner. Place has been open for a year and it could have fooled me. Even the grout lines in the tile are clean. While we were here there were dozens of customers picking up orders. We will be back.

Fantastic! The gyro platter was really, really good. The service was great as well. Easily the best hummus I’ve ever had. I’d definitely recommend you try this place if you’re a fan of Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cuisine. I’ll be coming back for sure.

I had the supreme gyro platter. I can’t eat like I used to but I am 250 lbs and over 6 feet. I only mention this because I was stuffed by the time I got done eating. I couldn’t quite finish it all. They were very generous with the meat and it was delicious. There was a ton of french fries with it as well — the equivalent of 2 mcdonalds large fries. I would say that there could have been a bit more lettuce and like others have said — more sauce but I think that’s probably on purpose. Nobody wants to pick up a gyro and have sauce running down both hands to your elbows. But — if it’s a matter of economics, I’d gladly sacrifice a couple slices of that meat for one of the tiny cups of sauce on the side for dipping. Also, the pita bread was nice and thick and tasty. On other aspects of the place — it was very clean and everyone was nice and helpful. They’ve got a glass fronted fridge out front with a large selection of drinks and extra sauces. This place is several miles away but I will be back.

I’ve gone to this location many times over the past few months. The goods is awesome but it can sometimes take a while to get the food. Staff is friendly and the location is very clean.

Came for the Unilocal reviews but ended up being fairly disappointed. I ordered some french fries for my toddler no where on their menu does it say spicy or seasoned fries just said fries. I handed my toddler one and then i ate one and discovered they were seasoned with a spice beyond jalapeños something way hotter. My toddler was crying and i felt terrible it was just completely unnecessary. Beyond that the meat on their menu that says its tender was not, despite the wait it came out chewy dry and over seasoned. Our side dishes were mixed up with our group and there were lemon seeds in the salad. On the positives their gyro meat was good it came as a make it yourself sandwhich on a bed of rice. Could use more sauce but you have to pay extra. The hummus was good. I’d say don’t bother getting their higher end meals just stick to the gyros and hummus.

The food was very good! However the guy that took my order was on the phone… Sounded like with his mother and was fighting with her. He hardly looked at me. It was uncomfortable. The salad I got with my plate said it didn’t have lettuce with it but mine did a little let down. The meat was great! I didn’t get enough sauce so next time I’ll order more. I will be back even though the guy was horrible. I hope they read this and fix this problem. Must be the son of the owner because I can’t imagine this is a hired kid acting like this. If it is well he should be let go… If the food wasn’t as good I would not go back. I am giving a 5 on the food and the fact that less than an 10 hours the owner responded to my report of this issue. Like I said the food is amazing, and it sounds like they will be fixing the issue I had at the counter. I will still need to order an extra side of sauce… I’m a sauce lover but the food was great… And if they truly fix the issue with the boy than things here will be amazing. It turns out I was right it is the owners son… And those in the kitchen do not speak English and could not take over for him… But the owner heard my concerns and promised to fix it.

My beautiful, amazing girlfriend and I disagree on this place(can you tell she edited this?). I think they are a soft five(because I round up), but she thinks they are closer to a three. Now, she may have different taste in gyro places as she went to college in Austin, BUT I know what I like. And, I like this place. We were scoping this place out for awhile because it was so close and had such a high star rating. Then, one day, we finally pulled the trigger. Unfortunately, we arrived too close to closing, so they ran out of the beef shawarma. Having just watched The Avengers, I really wanted beef shawarma. But, alas, no go. Nonetheless, the owner hooked me up with some free baklava. We ordered a couple of dinners that included chicken shawarma, hummus, the gyro meal, tabouli, and baba ganoush. The tabouli, hummus, and baba ganoush were all smooth, with great mouth feel. Each had a unique and singularly good and fresh flavor. I cut off pieces of meat and added each to individual bites, and I was a little mad at myself for not going here sooner. After all, this place is walking distance to my house! The baklava was solid and not too sweet. I hate it when places make it too sweet. All in all, if you like middle eastern food, this is a solid choice. If you’re in the area, it’s a no brainer: GO. If you’ve got a place near you that’s a five star, maybe it isn’t worth the drive, but if not, again, GO!

Love this place. Hummus is so good and the portions are so worth the Value. I have had the Fatoush Gyro meat Rice dolmas Hummus are all good. CJ I think Walid is his real name is a helpful attentive guy if you decide to eat in. Really is the best Greek food south side of Division West side of 360 all the way south to Austin. Has become a weekly treat and makes three meals if you are portion conscious or maybe two of you are super hungry.

I am so glad I took the wrong way and stumbled upon this place. I have been missing a good Gyro place and this is it! The owner was super friendly, even to my crazy girls. I played it safe with 2 Gyros, Gyro platter and a side of fries for my family of 5. Portions are LARGE! My 3 girls split 1 Gyro and my husband and I could have easily split the platter. The fries have a little kick, so if you have kids, you might want to ask them to hold off on it. We will be back to try other things. Oh, and they deliver within 3 miles!

Décor: 5⁄5 –I was impressed with the décor, there are table seating however not many. Service: 5⁄5 –Excellent service and super friendly, we received free baklava! Food: 4⁄5 –Supreme Gyro Platter To-Go is the way to go. At $ 9.99 you get so much food, practically two meals, maybe more.

«How did you hear about us?» the guy restocking the fridge asked me. Careful not to let one flake fall from my baklava, I told him how I used to pick up donuts here for my team back when I taught at a nearby school. «The reviews are spectacular and I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while!» And on many points, it did not disappoint! The Gyro To Go platter was hearty and heady with sides of hummus and baba ganoush I could eat with a spoon. After sharing just the platter of meat, pita, rice, and sides, my husband and I were too full to touch the chicken shwarma.(We saved it for later, which is not something I’d recommend since no one likes reheated lettuce; so I’ll refrain from judging the shwarma.) The one star deduction comes from the tzatziki sauce. If the pita was tough or the meat was salty, I might have let it go, but this sauce is my favorite part of Mediterranean dishes; so it threw off the meal when their tzatziki more closely resembled Philadelphia Cream Cheese than the Ranch Dressing texture I’ve come to relish. However, the baklava was sensational and this is an all-around solid place that I’ll be revisiting when I’m in south Arlington.

I’ve been driving by this place for the longest time and today I decided to stop by for dinner. I ordered the beef shawarma plate, with hummus and baba gannoush for sides and Tabboulli. And as a first time diner they offered a free baklava for dessert. The shawarma was well spiced: the bed of rice below was a good basmati with vermicelli in it. The hummus had a good strong lemon flavor, baba gannoush had an odd spice I could not identify. Tabbouli was kind of bland. For free, the baklava was good: but I would not buy it as it lacked enough syrup(too dry).
