I love the brand, the suits fit well and there’s quality. Unfortunately this is the closest store to me and the staff here is arrogant. I always show up in sweatpants and a t-shirt, hoping they will start treating their customers better and not judging them by their appearance. You would think after seeing me spend the money I spent the last 2 years they would get a hint, I don’t wash dishes for a living. I find it funny, these store clerks would look down upon me for paying full price on the same product they save up, to pay at a discount price.

I have been buying Boss suits for over 15 years and must have spent over $ 25k on suites, shoes, shirts and ties, but when the General Manager of the store tells me that I should know to pay for tailoring on any suit that is discounted with a level of arrogance seldom heard. I am taking my business elsewhere.

After failing in my first attempt to find a suit that fit well and actually looked good on me, I stopped in at Hugo Boss. Hey, the sign in front said«Sale», so it didn’t hurt to look even though I don’t come close to resembling a tall, waifishly-thin, Euro-trash, male model a la «Zoolander» type. I certainly didn’t look like a million bucks on this particular Saturday afternoon in my faded jeans, fleece pullover and beat up casual shoes, but Kenny, the sales associate, treated me like Warren Buffett and grabbed several suits of varying colors and cuts, dress shirt, and shoes for me to try on. Surprisingly enough, all of the suits I tried on fit really well. To my pleasure, all of the pants were flat front. No idiotic pleats for this guy! Most importantly, the gf REALLY liked how all of the suits looked on me. Sold! Bottom line: A good product almost sells itself. However, great customer service that is attentive, patient, and doesn’t make assumptions about you based on your appearance when you walk through the door will seal the deal.
