My wife and I moved to the area a few years ago and one day finally decided to give this IHOP a try since it was less than a mile from the house and we had never been before. The interior was clean and nicely decorated but I was surprised at how small the dining room was. We didn’t really hit the restaurant at a peak dining time so I can only imagine that the line for a table ca get quite long. I swear IHOP used to have more options on the menu. I used to always order an omelette before I was diagnosed celiac… seeing that they put pancake mix into their omelettes forced me to look elsewhere. Overall I was pretty much stuck ordering a breakfast sampler. The food was decent — nothing great to say and nothing really bad to say. The waitress took our order, delivered the food, and delivered the check. Once again — nothing great to say but nothing bad. The experience was mediocre in general but I doubt I will be back. There are other options around the area like Rio Mambo that offer a better experience.

IHOP is pretty much everywhere so I’m pretty sure most people have a hint of what their food is like. Every time that I’ve gone to this specific location, I have received EXCELLENT service! I went several times during my college exam week to find a place with bottomless coffee, with a slightly isolated room, and that’s open late. I’ve been pleased each and every time. They were incredibly accommodating, providing me with a power strip for my laptop and even going as far as letting me sit in the back room, typically used for larger groups. I had a waitress who hooked me up with just about the best hot chocolate I had EVER had. I was torn between the pumpkin spice latte and hot chocolate and she managed to marry the two into pumpkin spice hot chocolate — just about the most diabolical thing ever :) Will be back!

We went here only because it was walking distance from the service department of my car’s dealership. The two stars are for service. We had a great server who was prompt, accurate, and even made a few jokes. Coffee was fine, she brought as an extra pitcher after we settled the check so we could hang out more. I got this dish that’s IHOP’s take on a benedict. it was really so-so, and the kicker was the avocado. Someone actually put that thing on plate and left it there — it was more black than green. I’m not expecting much from you, IHOP, but please don’t serve me really old avocadoes with an already lacking meal.

This place had a terribly long wait the first time we came so we left and went somewhere else. The next time was practically immediate seating, on a Sunday morning. The final time we want was this morning and we had to turn around again! I think it’s the folks trying to get into hurricane harbor and can’t because there’s also a line there, so they come to get a bite instead of waiting. Also, there’s a hotel right behind this location so that could also be it. I’m sure you’re thinking why is this guy telling me this in the review, go check them out — if you find the same long ass wait — be sure to «funny» my review because that’s the only thing funny. The middle attempt we made and actually got to stay to eat was pretty good. I good the breakfast platter that has two of everything. Any time I order pancakes I ask for«melted» butter on the side. You’ll thank me later and spare yourself the syrup. I don’t know why they serve butter balls and mash a crater to roll it into the pancake. It’s almost rude. I love butter but I like it to fla-vor my food, not come as a side. 3 star food, 2 star service/wait

Worst service I’ve had in a long time. It took over ten minutes for a server to come and take our order. I would have left then but it was late and we had just driven over 5 hours into Dallas. The server didn’t come back with our drink order(which was water) for another ten minutes. The food finally came and the bowl my grits came in was noticeably dirty and my omelet was cold. The manager did comp our ticket because it was the third time tonight someone complained on that particular server.

Talk about price creep… ordered an omelette and had to pay extra for hash browns and toast! That use to be part of it but now $ 12 is not enough! Omelette was over cooked as I do not expect it to be brown or dry. Not going back anytime soon!

Came during dead time, which I love, cuz it’s quiet! Bradley did a great job taking care of us, and the food all came out as ordered. I wasn’t a big fan of my food, but I ordered it. Now, I know. I’ll just stick with my usual! :)

If I was going to base this rating on the waitress Dawn, I would have to find a way of giving a sixth star. She was completely understaffed and had a party of 20 come in, five other tables, she must’ve grown wings to be able to keep up with everything. Unfortunately, one cannot write a review simply about a wonderful waitress. The manager on duty, lacked any of the social skills necessary to run a customer service establishment. even when she was in a supporting role of the waitress, she failed to achieve the basic needs of clearing the table, bringing coffee or water, without a significant gesture to grab her attention. As to the food, it would be exactly what you would expect mediocre with a little bit of extra grease. The mozzarella sticks were okay although lacked any real outside flavor and the marinara sauce was the only moisture that was left in them. See photo I had already eaten the first one. The big steak omelette, I would have to ask where’s the beef. As you can see in the photo, it’s more of a potato and egg omelette. So the ultimate question, when I go back, and what I recommend it to someone else? Yes I would go back, as the expectations although minimal where met. The waitress being very efficient, had there not been a large party, I believe would’ve been a more pleasant experience. As for recommending it to others, I’m not one to recommend restaurants that I get three stars to.

I came here the morning after my fitness competition so needless to say I was EXTREMELY hungry! The hostess was friendly, seated us quickly, and left with a smile. The waitress was very accomodating and made sure I got EVERYTHING I wanted for my «cheat breakfast». The food was good, my pumpkin cheesecake pancakes were AWESOMESAUCE! !! I’ve never really been a fan of IHOP as the pancakes were generally very«cakey» but these pancakes were very very good! Overall a great experience and on my next cheat breakfast in March those pancakes(if available) will definitely be on the menu!

My friend and I stopped by for a late breakfast, early lunch. The service was superb. Marya was excellent I took off a couple of stars for food quality. The burger was overdone, and not sure what seasoning was on the seasoned fries, but I personally did not care for them. Mu friend’s french toast had too much syrup, but the eggs and sausage were good. Ordered hot tea and the only choice was black tea. No non caffeine or green tea options. I would come here again.

I’m surprised to see so many bad reviews for this location but I know all restaurants have good days and bad days. Got stuck in the Holiday Inn behind here when my flight got delayed overnight so decided to walk over and have some dinner. Thank you American Airlines for the $ 12 meal voucher! There were a good number of people here but I was seated promptly and already knew what I wanted so ordered at the same time. An ice cold Pepsi was sitting in front of me within a minute. The plate of hot food came out less than 5 minutes later. I’ve never had that fast of service at any sit-down restaurant. Ever. My waitress was nice and kept up with me as expected. Food tasted good. Excellent experience overall. Will return if I ever end up around here again.

WORST customer service experience I’ve ever had at any IHOP. We were seated and offered drinks then our waiter disappeared. 20 min later a manager walks by and notices our drinks are empty and offers a refill. We explain that we haven’t had our orders taken so he took our order. Another 20 min passes and NODRINKSWEREBROUGHTTOUS. Our food finally arrives and we had to beg for drink refills. Another half hour before someone else showed up with the ticket. We will never be returning to this location again.

Average IHOP in the entertainment district of North Arlington. Was a party of 2 and was seated very quickly. It was a late Sunday morning and the location was somewhat busy with several large parties. Our drink orders were taken quickly and filled relatively fast. Food was ordered, served in a timely manner and at correct temperature. All-in-all, a good experience.

The service at this location is always great. The food is always fresh and the restaurant is always clean. The staff here are always friendly too. They are always fully staffed and stocked. The restrooms are always clean too. Management is nice as well.

Nice, new and easy access breakfast restaurant. Kid friendly too. We had crepes, I would rate it higher but it is the typical IHOP with bland and functional interior space.

After many failed attempts of eating at this IHOP, I’ve decided to finally leave a review. This IHOP is literally the worst of all, ever. On three occasions my family has had to get up and walk out after waiting an hour each time to get any kind of service after receiving the mediocre drinks. On our first visit, the waitress kept looking at us, refilled out drinks once, and then proceeded to tell us that they closed the kitchen so they could«catch up» all he other orders. Then, she demanded we pay for our drinks. Four of us, two drinks, you didn’t inform us of the situation. There was no reason to pay them $ 5 for the beverages because they weren’t considerate of our time. We tried to be understanding as they were busy due to a concert at Cowboys Stafium. But to close a kitchen and not inform anyone until 35 minutes after it has happened is ridiculous. On our second attempt, the waitress messed up my food three times then attempted to charge me for all three times. Which was ridiculous! My family was finished eating by the time my meal was made correctly, and cold, might I add. The manager was gracious this time and even took care of half of our check. The third time, my sister and I went to dine in and we were given drinks. There were only three other tables. I guess the waitress ASSUMED we weren’t ordering because we didn’t know what we wanted by the time she came and asked us what we wanted to drink. We sat for about 25 minutes after receiving our drinks waiting for the waitress to even walk by. She was busy on her phone at 3:30 in the morning? Seems legit. Anyways, when a manager walked by and asked we hadn’t been served yet, she promptly attempted to take our order and at that point we were fed up. We left, didn’t pay, and vowed to never return. Overall, yes this place is new, but its poorly run and you should go a few exits west on 30 to Eastchase and eat at the one there, they seem to be much more attentive and they’ve never just not paid attention to their customers, at least from my experience.
