Friendly people, excellent quality food/coffee/espresso, true«mom & pop» attention to detail since, well, mom & pop(and son) are there running it. Very laid back and comfortable. Simply a fantastic place.

Iris is one of mine and my husbands favorite places to go for breakfast. It’s cozy quaint. Their bagels are amazing! Snickerdoodle coffee is scrumptious. The owners and their son are so sweet. It’s a must go!

This family-owned bagel shop is a gem! Their bagels, spreads, and even sandwiches at lunch are delicious and beyond compare, as bagels go. They also have fruit, a delicious cream cheese pumpkin roll, some varieties of sausage rolls, yogurts, granola, and juices as well, even in-house fresh made juices, and a great coffee & latte variety! Love this neighborhood spot.

And their sausage roll is great. They have three type of sausage roll. You must try all of them when its worm. Sausage roll, sausage croissant and last try one is Ham and cheese croissant. Also Owner is very sweet and I feel welcomed. I will visit soon again.

As I sit here and finish my Lox special it brought me back to my time living in NJ. This place is quite simply what I look for in a bagel shop. Fresh bagels artisan cream cheeses and the coffee here is outstanding. Bottom line… come here, eat till you cant eat anymore and repeat

I grew up in New York and this is by far the best bagel I have had in the DFW area. The bagel itself has that almost tangy, chewy but not too chewy taste to it that is reminiscent of my favorite bagel growing up. Can’t wait to make this a regular spot.

I tried this place this morning and was blown away! I am very much a bagel connoisseur — I’ve had them for breakfast almost every day for the last 20+ years. While visiting my folks for Christmas I went in search of a new bagel shop, and came across Iris here on Unilocal. The bagels are the real stuff! The best I’ve been able to find in Arlington to date! Try the cranberry — it was full of actual dried cranberries, and not just little pieces of cranberry that’d been chopped up with a mixer. :)

Hubs and I visited Iris Bagel & Coffee shop for the first time this morning. We’ve lived in this area for almost 20 years and have seriously missed out on Arlington’s best kept secret. Their cozy shop is everything you want and everything that is missing from large chain places. Warm, welcoming and cozy. It’s not fancy and that just told us they concentrate on the food and customer service and we were right. My Everything bagel with sun-dried tomato cream cheese was unequivocally the best I’ve ever tasted. My hubs raved about his Egg-which. We didn’t get to try coffee today as we were coffee’d out from what we had already had at home, but this place is now on are radar and will be frequented several times a week I’m sure. Good-bye Starbuck’s Gold Card. It was nice knowing ya. Family owned, operated and delicious will get our business any day over you.

These bagels were good, I created my own veggie bagel. I love their customer service! Very kind and inviting. I wish they had a bit more chip options. I also wish it weren’t so dark in there. I love a good atmosphere when I sit and eat.

This cute little bagel spot is family run, and has great customer service. I tried a cinnamon raisin bagel and a sausage roll, both were delicious. Next time I think I’ll try more of a breakfast sandwich! There were several regulars visiting. It had a inviting atmosphere, I will definitely be back.

Tried the Iris for the first time today and became an instant fan! I had the Blu Roast Beef bagel and my daughter had The Egger. Both were flavorful, fresh, and filling. The Texas-based DeCoty coffee blends were a delight. I had the Taste Of Texas, a blend of vanilla, cocoa, and cinnamon with a rich aroma. Sweetened with half n half it was like a syrup-based Starbucks drink, only smoother and more natural(and without syrup). The owner greeted several customers by first name with an infectious and sincere smile. He had a personal conversation with us before we left at the end of which he said«next time you come as friends». I could tell this is a business owner who enjoys the people side of what he does. Hard to argue with that kind of customer attention. I’ll definitely be a repeat customer. Highly recommended!

What started out as an impromptu, random visit to this darling little bagel shop became one of the most pleasant experiences. After briefly speaking to one of the staff upon walking in about this being our first time in, he welcomed us with such a friendly demeanor. The whole atmosphere of the shop is warm and cozy. Don’t be shy to speak to the people who work there; they are absolutely wonderful and kind! I was even given a FREE bag of bagels before I left. The bagels themselves are divine. The cream cheese seems to be homemade, the coffee is unique and rich, and the specialties that they offer are unique and mind blowing! I will most definitely be back here!

Who am I kidding? This is a great place. I think the price of spread turned me off initially and caused a four-star. It’s totally worth it. The people that work here are awesome. The bagels are awesome. Everyone is super personable. This morning, there was a Starbucks employee getting bagels and coffee to take back to her coworkers. I mean, come on. It’s good stuff.
