I don’t know what this person is talking about. I have had a COMPLETELY different experiences with Jessica. I have probably seen Jessica 6 or 7 times over the last year. Let me start off by saying in general I HATE doctors. The smugness, the talking down to, that kind of thing. I have always dreaded going to the doctors but now I feel completely confident going. She doesn’t have any of the things that usually make me not like doctors. Jessica is one of the most professional understanding and patient medical providers I have ever seen. She doesn’t have a hint of pretension. I can tell her any worries I currently have and she will calmly break them down and explains how we can address each one. I am a bit of a hypochondriac and have always found Jessica to listen to ALL my concerns and test me for them without hesitation. She is one of the few medical professionals that doesn’t roll their eyes when you mention webmd. She seems to almost appreciate a well informed patient. I have a lot of worry and concern about my health and every time I go to her I leave feeling completely taken care of and that no matter what, she will get to the bottom of it. Best medical practitioner I have EVER had. I have to thank my friend who suggested her. She: — talks to you where you are at, –makes a plan that highlights your strengths(ie– a runner coming in and she talks about possible exercises to treat a concern). –concerns the person as a whole in their environment, culture and beliefs — has an appropriate and good sense of humor She has always allowed be to sit with my significant other in meetings that may be important to both of us. As a service provider myself I really admire her professionalism while still being personable, ability to work with different types of concerns and really lay out different options. I feel more like a person than a patient with her.

Incompetency On a Power Trip– My husband had an appointment at the practice she is associated with and was assigned to this woman. Absolute nightmare. Not only did she not seem to know basic medical information, she was rude and nasty to both myself and my husband. She was dismissive, and tried to overrule what cardiac specialists recommended for my husband. We went there for a referral for the stress test and lipid panel at a cardiologist’s office that was scheduled for the following day. She ended up cancelling the appt. we had because she«didn’t think it was necessary.» An ER doctor and cardiologist both recommended a stress test be done after my husband ended up in the ER with heart issues. She went behind our back, cancelled the appt and told us «you can pay for it yourself if you want because I’m not writing a referral.» She’s not a doctor, yet completely tried to tell us what prescriptions she could write(NPs cannot write prescriptions) and then tried to refuse letting me into the room with my husband because I questioned why she did that, despite the fact that my husband stated he wanted me there. I would never recommend this woman to anyone, and hope that others can avoid the horrible experience we had. As a side note, when I called the cardiologist’s office after leaving the appt they stated we should find another PCP immediately so we can re-schedule the stress test. In the end, we wasted time and money and all it did was put us back to square one.
