Ok if your looking for a joint that has that local neighborhood feel, good STRONGASHELL drinks, good DJ who interacts with the crowd then this is the spot for you! Located in Arlington, This jukejoint host all different ages who want to walk through the door! from ol heads to young wanna be playas to Thots and of course the more sophisticated women just sipping on their drinks trying to look cute. So i have no idea what the age requirement is! Plus there is no one at the door checking ID’s or patting you down… now either they have never had any issues or everyone who comes here has some sense! Either way you bound to have a good time! The dance floor is small as Hell! but people still managed to get out there and do the Wobble line dance among others the dj played. Now, don’t get it twisted he also played the lastest jams and even threw in some 2Pac & Biggie throw backs… its then when i realized how old I was rapping the entire Biggie songs… smh. Seating can be limited depending on what time you get there, but there is an outside patio with some additional seating and place for smokers. All in All i did find myself having a good time(maybe it was the hood in me?!?) and the wings weren’t that bad either! Yes they have food and from what i could see it was finger licking good! I will return…

Gave 2 star for idea of a lounge on this side of town but its not big enough and didn’t need the dance floor taking up more space.(Lounge not club) Keep looking for another spot. No thrill

Rude, Rude, Rude. I’ve been here 4 times now. and I honestly think it was because I showed up late and I joined my two friends who had already become regulars and got along with the bartender that was there those nights that the first two times were semi pleasant. The last two times we stopped in it was just to pregame and decide where we wanted to go to set roots for the night. We walked in around 9– place was dead except for a sprinkling of singles at the bar. We stood at the door to be seated– since most of the tables had«reserved» signs or linens and decorations on them. After a few minutes the bartender walked around the bar and asked us «what we needed». Rude. We asked if they were closed for a private event because it didn’t seem there were available tables– so she pointed to the far corner and said we could sit at a small round table, then she walked off. Rude. After a few minutes, a sweet older lady(she is the only reason they have a star) came to take our order. We ordered a bucket of beer, one cocktail and a shot. Waited too long– there was literally nobody in the whole place! On top of that– the sassy bartender is the one that brought the bucket of beer– which she just slammed down on the table and walked off. Uh, no. I will cut you… On top of that– $ 22 for a cocktail and one shot!!! Please don’t come here– the staff is RUDE.

Located in a vibrant strip mall; its a low-key/very relaxed spot… No cover, outdoor patio, good vibes, good music(the DJ was quite nice for a Friday night). Drinks were fairly priced. Venue was not crowded. I believe they serve food, though I didn’t order any. Overall it’s a very new/fresh/up to date interior; I enjoyed it.

I attended a friend’s b-day party here this past Saturday — the place is located in a strip center and it’s in a good location. Safe, nice, well-lit. The interior is sort of small, but it’s ok. Since it was a closed party, I don’t know what the bartenders are like, we had bottle service which was good and the music was great. They did run out of food for the party and they had to bring in outside food, though. Other than that — definitely an OK place for ‘grown’ people to party!

Cool atmosphere. Food is full of flavor but the portions are a little small. They had good food and drink specials. And have a decent happy hour. Good music and lots of tvs.

I try to give each bar/restaurant I visit more than one chance, but I consistently am disappointed when I come here. The foods is always hit or miss, either its really good or really bad. Today I ordered a catfish plate that was $ 10 and literally received@ $ 6 worth of food. The 2 filets were smaller than half the size of my hand more like the size of catfish nuggets. The plantains were soggy and limp. The only thing on my plate that was up to par were my french fries. After speaking with the owner I did receive plantains that were much better and an additional piece of fish, but before he agreed to give me more he did make excuses. If a business is going to advertise as a place that sells foods one would think they would have more pride in the product they send out to customers. Speaking with the owner made me feel as if food complaints are something they receive here quite often. I have never seen a crowd of more than 15 people anytime I have ever come, I wonder why!!! They have karaōke on monday night which I enjoy, hence why I give them 3 stars instead of 1. The bartenders are really friendly and helpful each time I go, but for me the drinks are overpriced considering that this place is literally only a 2 minutes drive from the Highlands.

In the mood for something different? My husband was so we stopped by while in Arlington. Laid back atmosphere with huge tvs and a bar. Very friendly staff. My husband had oxtail, rice and green beans. He loved it. Those who like it very spicy should ask for Caribbean hot sauce.
