Kim is the worst tailor in the Copley/Pru area. She argues with customers, charges the highest rates and does poor work. No way I or my wife will go there again.

Will come here again. Had a few pants and shirts dry cleaned. No issues and got clothes in a few days since I was not in any rush to get them. Also Dunkin Donuts is next door! Kill 2 birds with one stone? :)

I used to go to Kim’s, as they were very close to my house. Historically, they did a pretty decent job. However, I brought my white dress shirt to get cleaned and pressed. When they returned the shirt to me, there was brownish-yellow gunk in the sleeves and dark brown-black lint/gunk in the folds near the button holes. These were not there when I gave my shirt to be cleaned. I brought it back to see if they would re-clean the shirt, or at least give me my money back, but he just used his nail to scratch off some of the yellow gunk and said, «See?» like I was supposed to scrape off the gunk myself. I bring my clothes to a cleaners to get cleaned, not to be further soiled. And it’s their job to make sure my clothes are clean. That’s what my money is going toward.

I’ve been fortunate to have lived nearby and used Kim’s Cleaners for over a year now. I’ve brought a red silk dress once that had gotten ruined by dry cleaning place in Davis Sq years ago and I had not noticed the blackish stains on that dress months afterwards(because I was hauling 7 dressed /suits back from them and did not think to check the red dress since it was a regular simple job after 1 time use of the dress to have it fresh and clean for the next time. I noticed the stains 2 weeks later when I finally pulled the dress out from celophane cover and I was shocked. I did take it back to that place and the very old lady who worked there sent me on my way — there was noth g she could do to remove the many stains. Nor could she care less about my ruined $ 140 Cache dress.) I came to Kim’s to see if they could maybe dye the dress in black to save it so I could wear it again. The gentleman(Kim?) looked at the dress and said he could get the stains out — and he did! It was so fantastic! I wore the dress to my company’s holiday party and got a ton of complements — it was my fav dress afterall! I should say I’ve used Kim’s many a times — they did an awesome alterations job shortening a skirt. They always do a fantastic job and always on time! I love how reliable, friendly, knowledgeable and overall awesome they are! I love giving my business to them! I wish I’d known of them back when I used to live in Davis. What’s also important, the lighting at Kim’s is so bright that you can easy examine your clothes and show them the stains you need removed /check for quality of work upon pick-up. Kim’s place is also very clean. The place in Davis had very poor lighting and was pretty dingy. Thank you, neighbor Kim’s Cleaners!!!

I have been using Kim’s for a while now. They speak great english unlike some places in the area. Never lost a piece of clothing and everything comes out good every time. I have used them for tailoring and cleaning. Can’t ask for anything else. They have great hours and are open Saturdays!
