The service is slow and understaffed. Food lacked seasoning and flavor. Staff were not friendly and sloppy! It was very unpleasant experience and I most likely will never return.

If there’s a 4.5 stars in would give that. Crawfish was sensational. One of the best around the area. We love the spicy flavor. We also ask for extra sauce which is nothing short of flavor explosion.

I’ve eaten the fried catfish, fried shrimp, hush puppies which are delicious, crispy on the outside soft and tender on the inside, good flavor. I didn’t like their chicken wings because they tasted like seafood. I’m assuming they took on the seafood flavor in the deep fryer. Their Togo food takes a long time to cook, way too long. They need to speed it up in the kitchen.

Got greeted alright, the server was kind so I don’t have anything to say about her.. Once we got seated we put in our orders, she got a little confused but I guess it was our fault, we had a semi-large group. Crawfish and the rest of food was ok. Once me and my boyfriend finished up our food I went up to the register to pay for our bill and as soon as I asked for it the Asian guy that was up there was completely rude to me… All I asked was to get my bill, and he just said to me in a rude tone«can you wait!!! I’m trying to split the bill!». He just kept staring at me until I walked away. Overall I wouldn’t come back again, whether you’re the owner or an employee, you don’t talk to any customer like that…

Tried this place a few months back. Not impressed at all. I ordered fish and a side of gumbo. The gumbo was absolutely gross and watered down. And the fish was rather tasteless… Hot and fresh but bland to say the least. Just go down off Arkansas to bayou cat. Much better food in my opinion.

I came here for the first time with two of my friends and each had two pounds of crawfish with potato. We really wanted corn but they were out! We also shared fries, which are pretty plain. I wish they had some Cajun seasoning for it. The thing about crawfish places is that they tend to be inconsistent, which I’ve noticed at many other places I’ve been to multiple times. My crawfish here was SO flavorful and had tons of garlic! The crawfish were basically swimming in buttery juices. My bag was dripping! However, my friend returned a second time and there wasn’t any juice in the bag and crawfish was plain. :(I will definitely be back, but I hope I don’t get unlucky and come on a bad day where the crawfish isn’t as good. The service was good! Our waiter was nice and attentive, but not overbearing.

Update: I had to knock of three stars because of my last two visits. First, the service has declined a bit. Although there are servers here that give remarkable service, it’s safe to say the owners here are ruining it. One time I went and I waited so long for the woman to come and take my owner. She’s not the nicest, but I feel as though that was just her personality. That is, until I ordered take out and realized her attitude on the phone is waaaay nicer. Which brings me to the way they will lie about when food will be ready so they will not lose business. While dining in, it was fairly crowded, but she said 15 minutes max, I waited about 30 minutes. The last time I ordered take out, on the phone, she had promised 10 minutes. I came there about 15 minutes later, and I had to wait an additional 32 minutes. I checked. It was taking forever and when I asked a server when my food would be ready, she went in and came out with, «They barely started making yours now.» It makes me wonder if they forgot or not. The cook came out and even said, «Is Michelle here yet?» It’s been around 45 minutes, of course I have. That being said, their seafood has always been fresh and they always give you a lot more than you order. However, this time, the crawfish were the size of my thumbs, the crawfish meat was very rubbery, and the shrimp was rubbery as well. It felt as though it was cooked in very low temperature and it was just mushy and falling apart. They gave us extra shrimp, but we had to throw it put because it wasn’t edible anymore. The seasoning was not as great either. Such a disappointment because this is my go-to for seafood. Sorry to say, but I will not be back until they start getting consistent with service and flavor.

Yep. I’m giving out 5!!! I LOVE a good crawfish boil. Found another good spot! This was some seriously good crawfish! I met Mr. and Mrs. Critter for dinner tonight(2 friends) and we were ALL happy with our choices. Mrs.Critter and I shared 4 pounds of medium spiced crawfish, and they were PERFECTLY cooked. Some were so big we could get little tidbits from the claws! Mr.Critter got the catfish and shrimp basket(crispy catfish, delicious shrimp lightly coated is seasoned cornmeal, hush puppies, fries and a drink– $ 10!) and a pound of snow crab legs! The only thing that I had that wasn’t great was the okra. Overly battered, not the way I like my okra, personally. But everything else was so good. So good, that I ordered some fried shrimp to go, to bring to my guy since he wasn’t able to meet us.(A couple were«missing» by the time I made it home… should have put them in the trunk!) Krispy Catch does NOT disappoint!!! Chow!

This is the best place to eat south of Hwy 20 if u are looking for good crawfish. I eat here at least once a week, 3 lbs of crawfish spicy. I mean they are always on point. Excellent flavor plus excellent prices at 6.99 lb. I used to think Shell Shack was good but this place is just as good if not better plus you’re not waiting to be seated for an hour like at Shell Shack. It’s a little small inside so I usually get my crawdads to go but I have sat and eaten also and the service is excellent.

My favorite crawfish place! The waitress is super sweet and service is great. Their crawfish was $ 6.99/lb and they currently have a deal for buy 5 get 1 free. They have average to big size crawfish. The flavoring is how I like it! Lots of garlic and super buttery. I always get medium and it’s slightly spicy.

This is my second time here. I went for the grand opening when they first opened and it wasn’t anything special. This is my second time back and it was good! The crawfish was flavorful and spicy. It was so good! I’m glad I live down the street, I can save 10 minutes and eat here instead of Joe’s Cajun Corner. I will definitely becoming back!

3 Stars for the superb service. Food is ok, I’d spend the extra 10 minutes to go to Joe’s Cajun. Ordered some oysters, came shucked on the shell… clean. (You can’t really mess up oysters being that they’re served raw) Ordered some Lemon Pepper Wings for my son, and fries. (Good crisp and flavor to them) Ordered 5lbs of crawfish with an order of potatoes and sausage for the wife and I at their«spicy» level. This is not«asian spicy». It’s more of a mild than anything. I actually had to pour more Louisiana hot sauce in the bag, and toss it up some more. Spice is not too big of an issue if it’s got good flavor… which was lacking. One thing that wasn’t lacking was how terribly oily/buttery the crawfish was. Don’t get me wrong, I know exactly what needs to be done when it comes to a crawfish boil and what’s needed, but you could feel the oil on your lips and fingertips like you just dipped your mouth in a jar of vaseline. Seemed like they just boiled the crawfish in a pot of the liquid boil and added a tub of butter that anyone can do on their own. We pay the extra couple of bucks a pound to avoid having to cook it ourselves, but can you at least add some salt or something?

Super good crawfish here. Right now, it’s $ 6.99/lb. The crawfish is good too. The medium is super spicy though. Totally recommend this place. It’s fast and delicious.

This is my ultimate favorite place!!! Boiling crab is really good but this place doesn’t have a wait. Not because it’s not good only because hardly nobody knows about it. When I’m there it has a good crowd but you see a lot of people going in and out with to go orders. I am a huge crawfish lover and if you love crawfish just give this place a try. They have the best deals!!! I go here at least once a week and sometimes after school I’ll pick some up for dinner. Everything is pretty on point at this place. Any seafood you want comes out amazing.

There were about 30 of us, including kids, that tore up bags and bags of crawfish and shrimp for dinner one night. If you could’ve seen the battle field that was left when we dropped the bibs, you would’ve thought a bunch of rancors had passed through with mudbugs on their mind. I respect any establishment that can accommodate my large and wonderfully disorderly family, especially when we take up more than half of the place. Two waiters came around and quickly took drink and food orders. The basket items were the ones to come out first, like jumbo shrimp fried in cornmeal and BBQ wings. As far as bone-in wings go, the flavor was there, but ease of eating was not. Do not come here to eat wings or fried baskets. Listen to me! Not that they’re bad and all, but because you’d be wasting your time and belly not ordering any of the boils. Go ahead if you want to though, we won’t judge you. The bags of aromatic spicy shrimp and crawfish arrived last. Most of us were waiting on them, famished with jittery fingers ready to get to some peelin’. The bag of red bugs dropped and we hounded them with blue gloved hands because we got them spicy and we have delicate palms despite our voraciousness. They were of varying size, from itty bitty red babies to chieftain deep red ones. I didn’t need to actually eat the crawfish because they were all quite ordinary. The boiled shrimp was the bag that I wanted to hoard and treasure like a greedy bellied dragon. The browned yellow soft chunks that gathered in the little crevices were absolutely wonderful. Mind you, this is coming from a girl that likes her Kraft macaroni with chunks of cheese powder that weren’t mixed well. The pudgy texture from the shrimp, the snap from a single bite, and the spicy taste from the soft dollops of seasoning made this the best meal I have had so far this year.(Okay, this was my first time going out to eat this year too. Not saying my cooking is that bad or anything…) Oh, to be mournful while sucking on a head you just barbarically ripped off, but quickly elated when the taste that runs through you makes you feel wild and accomplished. It got hot and Pat Baby was patting down my runny nose as I ate because I had sauce and spices all over my hand. Once I had my fill of shrimp, I sat with satiated stupor, hands still posed. My Crom, thank this night, for I was not the one paying the bill. Even if the waitstaff stood behind the counter with stink eyes at my untamed family, even if they didn’t come back around to refill our drinks, it was still a meal I will remember for the weeks to come.

It’s no coincidence that Lenten season aligns with another short and sacred window – Crawfish Season – and Krispy Catch is definitely the place to get you some! If their medium spicy shrimp(~$ 12/lb) is any indication, the crawfish is going to be squirting it’s succulent juices all over your hands and face when you break it apart. The medium had just enough kick to force a water break after eating 3 – 4 shrimp repeatedly drenched in the sauce. Instead of water, you could cleanse your palate with a catfish STRIP(not to be confused with the fillet). The strips offer a «better» batter-to-beast ratio. Your dollar will go further with the combo meals that come with hush puppies, fries, and a drink. Unfortunately, the fries were so over-salted that we had to wipe down each one individually before eating, which makes it so tedious when I like eating as many fries as I can grab with a 5-finger pinch. Nevertheless, service was good and I will be back for more once crawfish season is in full swing!

General: We had the crawfish boil(spicy). It had a good flavor, but not really spicy… would hate to see what the mild flavor tasted like. We did ask for dry Cajun seasoning and that helped a lot. Pros: decent price crawfish, came out hot but not overcooked. Cons: Before going we called and they stated they did have sausage and potatoes, but when we ordered the boil it was just the crawfish. I guess you have to order that separate. A little bland for being«spicy».

I came to this location just to order take out because it was conveniently next door to Kroger. This has to be the nastiest shrimp I have ever had in my life. I bought a pound of shrimp with medium seasoning. When they gave me the bag I could smell all of the flavors and I was excited to get my food home and try it out. When I got home, I was thrown off because I ordered shrimp but the heads were still attached. I asked the young lady over the phone would the heads be attached and she informed me no. Since I was so far away from the location I just decided to keep the shrimp. After de-heading the shrimp(gross by the way) I finally was able to eat. The shrimp lacked Flavor, and were extremely mushy and gross. I was so disappointed. How can you lack flavor in a shrimp broil? I ended up having to throw away $ 14.00 worth of shrimp because they were really gross. I took a picture but don’t let the picture fool you to believe that this is a good product. This is what mushy, tasteless shrimp looks like. If I could give negative stars I would. I had to go to Shell Shack just so I could finally get a good shrimp broil. NEVERGOTOTHISLOCATION its really gross. I wish I could get my money back but that option is not available.

It is alrite here! I would not say that it’s good, but tbh their crawfish is not so impressive in any way. The shrimp is actually better tho. Their sausage is so salty and not spicy ATALL. Service is fine, but I feel bad for the only girl who is working like a machine and the guy there just STANDINGANDPOINTING at everything! 2 stars is for her, 1 star for the food!

The service completely threw me off. We came when it was pretty busy around 8 p.m. The waitress sat us down and asked for our orders with no menus. All the employees kept running around and our waitress kept changing. They speak limited English and it’s hard to identify whose working because they don’t have uniforms or aprons. The place is small and clean but just watching how disorganized and awkward the service was made us feel stressed. The only thing I liked was the crawfish. As for the oysters, they were small and not worth the price. The sweet potato fries were drenched in oil. They only gave me like ¼ of the top of the corn. But the crawfish definitely exceeded my expectations. The size of the crawfish was big and seasoned with a bunch of butter and garlic(that’s just my preference). The level of spicy goes from medium spicy, spicy, and extra spicy. I recommend the spicy. This place barely opened so I have to come back again but if you do decide to try this place, don’t let the service and environment change your mind about the crawfish.
