My first impression visiting there was finding expired milk. Second day giving a try with lunch buffet… i was scraping off the dry left over food there. With a same price, i would have walked further up to find much better food… but i was out of time. Then when a cashier lady guessed my nationality(incorrectly) based on my appearance, it felt like i was in a wrong place.

I’m not sure what’s up with this place. I’ve tried it twice for lunch, seeing their big neon«Open» signs alight. There’s no hours posted on the door, and when I go in the entire buffet area is empty. So I walk past it over to the sandwich bar and the woman there tells me «No hot sandwiches.» So I order a cold sandwich and she puts the wrong ingredients on it. At least this was an improvement over the previous time, which was pretty much the same experience except that a man told me that the woman who makes the sandwiches had already left for the day. Okay, so why are you open?

This is a small deli that serves by the pound and made to order sandwiches. The location isn’t all that great so there isnt much of a crowd but it also means you get your food quicker. Seems like a lot of regulars come here too. The chef seemed to know just about everybody there. My review is for the cheese steak /steak and cheese. This place by far has the cheapest in Rosslyn, coming in at $ 6 and some change. It’s a decent size but not as loaded as other places which is probably why it’s a little cheaper. The flavor is definitely there though, I would say the portion is pretty good if you don’t want to fall asleep at your desk after lunch.

This is a typical Rosslyn breakfast and lunch joint with freshly made options(sandwiches) or a premade buffet(eggs, fruit, grits, pasta, salads, etc.). If it’s nice you can sit outdoors and admire the cement«pop bead art». The owners are sweet and they know their regulars. For lunch you might try their Ruebin. It’s not bad! I wish they were open on the weekend.
