Mavalyn, who works the early, early shift, is a modern-day goddess. As are her colleagues. They just opened early… and their open time is 4:30AM. Beyond pleased with this. That is excellent service — seeing a demand for breakfast food & opening up 10 minutes before the competition. She should get a company award.

It’s hard to give a McDonald’s a five star rating but this time it’s deserving Working at the airport I eat here a few times a week. Consistently it’s ultra fast super good and consistently awesome This was not always the case but the manager runs a tight ship. She assure all the customers are treated well Great for breakfast In an era where airport dining is going the way of duck sliders and pizza toppings no one can pronounce it’s good to know you can still get an honest breakfast for under three bucks

Nice servers but I have to give it a 1 because 1) I ordered an egg white delight and got a egg white sausage mc muffin(thanks for killing my diet) 2) there is a hair in my food, which is never acceptable

Monday Feb 11, 8:30am, WORST help ever. Female at counter helped me and spoke to 3 coworkers simultaneously. Got my coffee order wrong, poured my drink into another cup, slowly dripping syrup while speaking some street slang to her boss, janitor and coworker. No thank you, slow and dirty counter presentation. –5 stars if I could rate it. The manager was there!!! Unacceptable.

I would give this place a zero if I could. I was starving and needed to grab food before my flight. I ordered only a small hamburger, small fry, small coke and waited 15 minutes. There were at least 6 – 7 employees in plain sight. After everyone around my number ordered, even a guy ordering 2 flurries left before I did. One woman asked me what i needed said«waitin on fries» then she walked away talking about me and complaining about customers. After i mentioned to the manager about how I had ordered before other customers she politely complained to other employees that if they couldn’t handle working up here they needed to go back. I know working in the fast food industry is stressful, but you shouldn’t be rude and talk about customers right in front of them!

This is the worst McDonald’s I have ever been to. One would expect fast food to be… welll…fast. Especially at an airport location. I don’t know if they use a crock pot to cook their food because this is the slowest service I have ever experienced. I ordered a snack wrap waited 15 minutes for it before being told that snack wraps are no longer availability. When I questioned the manager as to why something that is no longer available still rings up on their cash register. He responded that the employee was new and didn’t know. He then asked if he could get me something else. As my flight was boarding I just told the manager to get me some fries. At this point he took another 5 minutes to return with the fries. The incompetence at this location is unbelievable. I think next time I will stick to the Einstein’s across the way. As I was waiting I noted several other customers frustrated with their experience of waiting an unreasonable amount of time to get their food.

Really exceptional service for the day before thanksgiving. They were totally slammed for breakfast and they got the food out in a speedy and efficient manner. 5 stars for the service and 4 stars for the food(hashbrowns were overdone).

It is important to put this McDonald’s on the map, so people know that there is one in DCA and also because it is hidden and I almost missed it. I was filled with joy when I noticed there was a McDonald’s off to the side and behind a pillar in the United terminal. I was hungry and my plane was about to take off but I didn’t feel like a donut from the stand, or waiting in line for an overpriced muffin at Starbucks, and then I saw this McDonald’s in the corner. Because it is kind of off to the side at the end of the hall I don’t think anyone noticed it! Usually I have to wait in line at airport McDonald’s but this one was so quick, no line and the staff was prompt. Excellent. Its always a relief to see a convenient McDonald’s when you are traveling. Hopefully seeing this McDonalds behind the pillar will bring joy and happiness to other travelers as well!

They have their ordering system organized to accompdate the fast pace at Reagan Airport, but the french fries are never hot! How is this even possible? There is always a line so I know you are constantly making fries. **puzzled**

Its food, folks, and somewhat fun at MCD’s in Reagan airport. Located near terminal 20, I ordered two quarter pounders on 4÷13÷12. During this time McD’s had a special promotion, e.g. buy one get one for a penny. The cashier initially charged me the regular price twice. However, I asked him it they were running the special promotion here. Fortunately they did and I paid the correct price. However, when I handed him a $ 20 bill he almost provided the incorrect change back. I was watching the cashier carefully as he went back and forth with change, laying the $ 20 on the dollar dispenser, lifting the dollar dispenser, and then providing the correct change back. The experience was somewhat déjà vu per Debra B’s review. As a result I recommend future customers provide exact change or as close as possible to the exact change for their order.

Do not go to McDonalds at National Airport. I ordered two ice cream cones and he said it was $ 1.40. I gave him exact change then realized he made a mistake and only charged me for one cone. I told him and he rang up a second cone. I gave a $ 20 for the $ 1.40 ice cream. The teller took my money closed the drawer and handed me $ 8.60. When I told him I gave him a $ 20 he called over an older man that said he is not going to open the drawer. He told the teller to take the next customer and fix it then. I waited for the next customer all the while my ice cream cones are melting. He finished with the customer, looked in the drawer and said I only gave him a $ 10. I know I gave him a $ 20, which I said again and he told the older teller, who rang out the drawer and told him to go count it. Maybe I am cynical but the teller left and came back with … Wait for it … The drawer had no extra money. When I questioned the process of a teller that just made a mistake counting the drawer in a back room a woman came out shaking her finger in my face and stating that there was no extra money in the drawer and she is not lying because God is watching her, incinerating I was lying. With that she turned around and walked away. The teller walked out and the older teller went about his business acting like I was not there. The ice cream was definitely not worth $ 20 :-(

I am amazed how/why this place has survived so far! Worst kind of customer service available — rude/clueless/fighting amongst themselves! The manager was screaming her head off at an employer while the line of waiting people grew. A lady 3 – 4 people ahead of me asked for ranch sauce with her sandwich, and I swear by the time my own order came in, she was still waiting for her ranch sauce!!! How mad is that now?! I will never come here again. Rather go to Einstein right across n get a bagel! Blah!

For a McDonalds in an airport, it has great service. Although right before a flight you might hit a long line, they are super quick and will get you on your way.

Dollar menu items are now $ 1.49. What happens when the items start costing more than $ 2? Is «dollar» when attached to «menu» plural like«fish?»
