OMG Donuts is a pretty good donuts shop and other breakfast items. They are located in an old 7 – 11 so the place is a good size plenty of seating if you want to stay. The place is bright nice and clean. I get the donuts to go. OMG have good selection of donuts and kolaches or wiener in a bun my favorite. The apple fritters are tasty but very light in weight to much air and no apples. And most of the donuts all taste the same. Opened in the morning easy in and out with good service and they have a clever name. Check them out if you’re in the Far West side of Arlington.

Had a donut craving on Sun morning after I went to Jay Jay’s café on Bowden and saw this on the way to church so I decided to drop by! Didn’t spend more than 3 min here and only got a glazed donut, but the donuts here are cheaper than the ones at QT across the street($ 1.19 for a glazed). This place is owned by Koreans has been open for 1 year and a half. Price range was $ 0.59 — $ 1.19(Glazed — Twists/donuts with toppings). They also have coffee.

This place isn’t really OMG material but it’s not bad considering the location is super convenient. The donuts honestly taste the same. I order the fried cinnarolls, donut holes, and an apple fritter. The glazed used was a little too sweet for my liking and their house coffee is pretty terrible. I do appreciate their quick and very friendly service. The shop was really busy when I arrived but i was in and out fairly quickly. I was told by a friend that their bagel is pretty good so I might give it a try next time I’m in the area.

I don’t usually eat donuts, but I ended up getting the random need to eat donuts several times in the last couple weeks. My first stop-in was OMG Donuts. Much like Solomon W, I wasn’t looking for donuts on that morning, but I just had to go inside a place that would name their business OMG. It’s an old 7 – 11 that’s had a rotating cast of failed businesses since the 7 – 11 moved. This is happening a lot lately as 7 – 11’s abandon the old, square brick, shopping center buildings and build larger places across the street. Little businesses move into the old gas station and just can’t seem to make it. I ordered a bagel with cream cheese and a couple sausage jalapeño kolaches. The prices were pretty good, so I got a milk as well, The milk was a little pricey, but I usually have coffee with me already, so well-priced donuts are fine. We were definitely fighting a language barrier to get the order completed. I had no idea what she was saying and she didn’t seem to know what I was saying either, but we fought through it and ended up with the right order and everyone was still smiling. Bagel was pretty good. It was sliced and toasted on the spot and then she applied the cream cheese while it was still hot. That’s really the only way to do it, in my opinion. The kolaches were what they were. Nothing to write home about and nothing really worth complaining about. Not enough cheese and a little hard for my taste, but still a good sausage jalapeño flavor. The shop looked surprisingly nice and clean for being an abandoned gas station. It no longer feels like an old 7 – 11, so good for them.

OMG Donuts caught my eye, not because I am a donut person, but who would open a joint with the phrase«OMG» in the title… in Arlington, Texas of all places? Having grown up a mere mile away, I honestly did not know how this place would last, as a good amount of establishments have come and gone in the location. I saw that bagels were also on the menu, so I made my way over to check it out for a carbohydrate-laden most-important-meal-of-the-day. The variety of offerings is quite widespread, but I went with a couple of bites and a bagel. Give it a shot for anything of interest, whether that be sausage rolls or sprinkled donuts. The apple fritters are extremely sweet, but they boast a nice doughy flavor. The donut holes are moist, airy, and sweet. OMG produces some solid staples of a donut joint. Now, how was the Yankee staple? My cinnamon raisin bagel was extremely successful in the flavor aspect, but the texture was a little too heavy on the existence of gluten. It does not provide the typical crustiness and tenderness of a water donut from the Northeast, but rather, it is more like a pizza dough: the crust offering a soft, tugging resistance; the interior giving a rubbery softness. I suppose OMG would provide individuals rolling through this old school part of Northwest Arlington with a good detour for a breakfast confection. Nothing special, but cheap and tasty. Also, I do not know of many other places in Arlington in which to find(hopefully) mom-and-pop bagels.
