Review here several times but each time it’s getting less and less attractive to eat here we placed an order to go and it was pretty disappointing overall we ordered the chicken with cashews and the Harley put any cashews in the dish. They charge extra for waiting me but they are consistent overall I’m probably one of the better Chinese places around

Wait staff was friendly and professional. Food was good. Nice atmosphere and clean. Great for a dinner out. Parking is a hassle.

I came here for dinner the other day, food was meh, and on the expensive side. Our server took a long time to take our order and even longer to replace drinks, it wasn’t that busy, but basically, I ate eat my meal without a drink. As for my meal, I ordered the sesame chicken. Chicken was not fried, the sauce lacked flavor, but the portion was ok.

Food that your Chinese mother would hate. Menu concepts developed at corporate HQ in Scottsdale AZ. What’s to like? Pass this by, avoid Noodles & Company and ShopHouse, and go to Panda Express for fast casual Chinese food.

I haven’t eaten at PF Chang’s for a while. Decided to get some tonight. I got their beef and broccoli, brown rice, and their shanghai cucumbers. Beef and Broccoli — Oh my god this was amazing. The sauce, the steak, the broccoli. By far the best beef and broccoli I’ve had in recent memory, and I get Chinese take-out often. Brown rice — Your basic brown rice. They didn’t re-invent the wheel here but delicious! Shanghai cucumbers — Admittedly, I was expecting more. It was basically just cucumbers sitting in a pool of soy sauce. Definitely good, just not as good as I was hoping for. Eat here people! AMAZING. Also, they have a gluten-free menu!

Typical PF Changs. nothing special but always well prepared food. bar staff very nice but a bit slow. takes forever to get a drink at bar since the bartender has to service all the hi top bar tables as well. tip to manager. if the bar tables r full as well as the bar itself do ppl a favor and give the bartender some help instead of just standing there

It’s probably closer to 2.5 stars, but doesn’t quite make 3. If it wasn’t for the service, I’d probably rate one. Clearly, P.F. Chang’s is not the height of Chinese dining, but it offers some tasty dishes. I have two recent experiences at this location. The first is a delivery experience, where I ordered mapo tofu and vegetable spring rolls. The spring rolls were good – no complaints. I know what you are thinking. Why did she order mapo tofu? Well, clearly I wasn’t thinking, or reading, because the tofu was deep-fried in a lackluster sauce with zero spice. Mapo tofu it was not. Recently, I dined-in with my supervisor and a colleague. While I actually liked the food, it is quite clear that the kitchen timing needs work. There were also times when it was hard to find our server. We arrived at 12:15 and didn’t leave until 1:45. I ordered the lunch special of almond-cashew chicken with a spring roll. They are able to make the chicken without onions or mushrooms, which is great. My supervisor ordered a sushi roll with a side of hot and sour soup. Our other companion ordered the Korean chicken stir-fry in a full-size version. We all shared the chicken satay. My meal was tasty, with plenty of water chestnuts and bamboo, which made me happy. However, I had to ask for the spring roll three times, which did not make me happy. My supervisor’s roll was on the small side. And my colleague’s full-size entrée was the same size as my lunch version. Our server was friendly, polite, and apologetic when necessary. I liked him. The food was fine. But the overall experience doesn’t leave me wanting to return.

This one of my many visits to this location and I’ve had my ups and downs but this last visit is really gonna be my LAST visit. At both Tysons and Ballston locations, one of my staple entrees while dining is lomein. And I always ask to get more noodles than lomein. I’m simply asking for more of one thing than the other. Never in my experience have I been charged for this until the other day. Then I ask my waiter if it was a mistake and she, in her not so happy tone, said her manager told her that she had to add it as an extra cost for more noodle. Okay, but I barely got any veggies. So how does that make sense? Slow, inconsistent, and this location could just do much better. Too bad…

We found ourselves here on a Saturday night after we found that the Italian restaurant we wanted to go had a waiting time of 45 minutes. Our group of 3 ordered some appetizers to share and the crab rangoon was pretty decent. Not mind blowing, but not bad either. I ordered the lobster rice and it was a fairly big portion. It was good without being exceptional. The staff was friendly.

Smallest portion Togo, carry out so disorganized… They don’t come out to ur car per their online ordering advertisement, and food is not ready at the time specified online. Over promise and under deliver

This is for pick-up only. I don’t know what happened to this P.F. Chang’s restaurant, but it was unfortunate(on my end). I ordered the Crispy Honey Shrimp, which I order regularly at most P.F. Chang’s restaurants. The dish should’ve been called«Soggy Honey Shrimp» because it was so gross. I couldn’t finish the meal because I immediately lost my appetite.

PF Chang’s is of course great upscale comfort Chinese food, but the service at this specific PF Chang’s was a breathe of fresh air! It is nice to see that there are still servers the understand how to make an ordinary dining experience spectacular! If you are ever at this PF Chang’s make sure to ask for Victoria. Victoria not only pays attention to the customer’s every need and provides excellent meal suggestions, but she also pays attention to the little details. I was sat at a table that had the smallest of soy sauce residue on the table and she immediately had the table wiped down and apologized profusely. While it wasn’t a big deal to me I knew I was in good hands during my dining experience!(Dinner service 10÷3÷15).

Not as great as it use to be. Was actually disappointed. Was craving P.F.Changs, now dont want to come again. Had Chang’s for two. Egg drop soup, bland, crispy green beans, was brought with extra oil… chicken wrap was good. Crispy honey chicken was good. Baked orange chicken didnt not taste like the regular one like we were told it would. the dessert… wow for two people we each get 1 small wonton… no likey anymore.

Alright, I thought this place was going to be run of the mill overly priced Chinese place but this joint got it right. It was a downright fancy restaurant with candlelight dinner set up. I went for dinner and was very pleasantly didn’t. The food wasn’t great but it wasn’t bad either. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and will definitely go back. The food just didn’t have the extra oomph for getting the 5 star.

We walked in without a reservation and were quickly seated. I immediately noticed the temperature was a little warm. We were offered a table next to an oversized group around a table; we requested one by the window that was more specious– she readily agreed It took a long time to get their attention on a Tuesday night. They seemed under staffed; service got better as more people finished and left. ‘Y friend had to return his beer. The glass was dirty on the outside. He also had to return a small plate later for the same reason. The first course, the lettuce wraps, came and there were still no utensils or napkins. This is a pet peeve of mine. Don’t put piping hot delicious food in front of me that I can’t eat. We sat long enough that someone could have brought the utensils out earlier. As always, the lettuce wraps were awesome. They brought more lettuce out too. The portion was big. We also ordered the edamame which was good. For our main we split the Orange chicken which was a pleasant surprise. I got brown rice with it. I would order that again. It was recommended by the waitress after we asked her for comments between a few choices. I did not see the Key Lime martini on the menu– I used to order that at the Tyson’s location years ago. I did not ask. I had the Margherita which was ok. The overall ambiance in the restaurant is nice.

If it were not for myself and friends enjoying our food immensely, I would be lowering my rating to two stars. This was hands down one of the least pleasurable experiences service– wise I have had in quite sometime. To sum up our service in one word: aggressive. I’ll start from the beginning… Our party had 7:00pm reservations. My boyfriend and I spent more time trying to find parking(we didn’t know there was a garage right beneath the restaurant with discounted parking) than it took to actually drive there so we were late. The other couple we dined with were there and had ordered drinks at the bar while waiting on us. After we arrived, we also ordered drinks. I’d say the beer prices were surprisingly good– $ 6 for a Lagunitas IPA. We took our drinks to our table and our server came over shortly after we were seated. She said she would bring us waters and be back. Those waters never arrived, which will come back into play later. Anyways, after saying she would come back she came over two minutes later and asked about appetizers. We asked for a minute. Literally one minute later she returned and asked about appetizers again. The other couple ordered the lettuce wraps. They come here fairly often and said they order those frequently so they didn’t need to look at a menu for those. After the app was ordered, we still had closed menus since we were mid conversation. She came over about two to three minutes after the app was ordered and asked about entrees. We said we needed more time. This same pattern repeated itself about three more times– she literally was coming over every two minutes to try to take our order and we had maybe been sitting at the table for 10 minutes, 15 at most. The restaurant was not crowded at all so none of us understood what her Rush was to get us to order. The appetizer came out and it was quite flavorful and more than enough for four people to share. For entrees, our table ordered the crispy honey chicken, crispy honey shrimp, Kung pao chicken, and a lobster avocado roll(my meal). The food came out quickly and was brought by food runners. Our server practically knocked the food tray out of the one poor girls hand to serve us the food, telling them«I’ve got this.» All three of my dining companions wanted brown rice with their meals and it was brought out in a single communal bowl. My boyfriend made the comment he would have eaten more of his entrée if he had been given his own rice since he wanted to ensure the other two received their fair share too. I had not been to a PF Changs in years and I remember the portions being significantly larger than they were on thus recent visit. My lobster avocado roll was excellent combined with curry aioli! The avocado was fresh as was the lobster. It was flavorful without being overly spicy. The server checked back on us multiple times, to the point it was more intrusive than attentive. She also attempted to remove plates more than once that were still in use with food. At the end of the meal, my boyfriend was quite parched– waiting on those elusive glasses of water– but commented our server seemed in such a rush for us to leave that he was afraid if he requested a water, she would have«altered» it. All four of us were in agreement– our food was tasty but our service was quite off-putting. I’d possibly still return in the future, but only if it were suggested by someone else as a meeting place.

Seriously one of the worst experiences at this location! I’ve been here more than a few times and the last couple of times I was so displeased but I kept going back hoping for a better time. The most recent experience: food was bland, and cold. The waiter(I had two times) was SO slow! And maybe they should hire more people! It took 15min+ to get the check after asking for it. And I didn’t even leave a tip because of how displeased I was! I will defiantly not return after all those times of going back hoping I will have a better experience. –0000 stars Save yourself the time, energy, and expectations, and go somewhere else.

Despite being a chain restaurant, PF Changs is one of my favorite Chinese restaurants. Located in the heart of Ballston, PF Changs is a great happy hour or dinner spot! FOOD If you go to PF Changs and don’t order the lettuce wraps you’re doing something wrong. First of all, the portion is very big and there is a good lettuce to filling ratio. While this dish is listed as an appetizer it could easily be a main dish. The dumplings and spring rolls are just as good. We went with the steamed shrimp dumplings and they were amazing. For main dishes I always recommend the fried rice, kung pow chicken, or the sesame chicken. One of my favorite aspects of this restaurant is the ability to substitute brown rice for white rice as a side or in a rice based dish. Also, for many of the common Chinese dishes, like kung-pow chicken, there is the option to substitute pork or shrimp. DRINKS The drink prices at PF Changs are very modest. I personally like the beer selections(There are Chinese beers and Japanese beers available on tap or in the bottle.) There is also an extensive wine list, and some creative cocktails. SERVICE I usually don’t review the service, but I have to make an exception. The last time I went I was with my family so we ordered at least 5 main dishes. When our food came out there was one dish missing. When we mentioned this to our waiter, he had the dish brought out immediately AND voluntarily removed it from our check. Ive had this happen to be before at other restaurants, and the servers haven’t been so nice. ADVICE Overall, PF Changs is a great spot for those who love Chinese food and asian inspired cuisine. The portions are not as big as other Chinese restaurants, but the quality of the food makes up for it. My advice — If you’re hanging out in Ballston looking for a fun place to eat, PF Changs is always lively and the food won’t disappoint.

Stopped in for a quick dinner with Illysa S. after the Unilocal Holiday party across the street. We ordered the standard… lettuce wraps! I love them. There is something wonderful about the cool crisp lettuce with the spicy chicken and veggie combination! They are always perfect and this was no exception. We also ordered the Mongolian Beef which was served with rice. I love the Mongolian beef here, it is flavored very well and I don’t find it to be overly salty. The spring onions were particularity fresh and crispy on this visit. We had no issue clearing that plate! We also ordered the Chicken Dan-Dan Noodles. As a noodle lover, I had such high hopes for this dish. I was sorely disappointed! Actually, both Illysa and I refused to eat it, it was so bad. They brought the dish out and it looked beautiful. It was accompanied by a small pitcher filled with some sort of gold broth that was poured over top of the noodles. They tasted exactly like the $ 0.20 Ramen noodle package I eat when party/shop too much! They were soggy, salty and bland. Ew. Our server Leo was very gracious and explained that they had recently changed the preparation of the Dan-Dan noodles and apologetic that we did not care for the dish. The manager stopped by to offer his apologies as well. The service was fantastic and is definitely driving the 4 star review. I am actually really happy to see two employees provide such service and turn a possible negative situation into such a positive one.
