I went in for the first time today and was very happy. Whitney was working and was extremely helpful and knowledgable. I went in for a Mystic tan and ended up doing what they call a «cocktail» where I went in the UV bed and then to the Mystic. Their prices are very fair and like I said, Whitney was very helpful and kind. I got the«glow» mystic because I am so fair and was worried about it looking too unnatural… I think next time I’ll get the medium because I don’t really notice a lot of color.

I feel like I need to review this place to rescue it from all the scathing reviews. I purchased a groupon for this contemporary spa & wanted to see what they offered. I walked in to inquire about treatments offered, I was greeted by Anna the location manager– she was informative & very polite. I chose to try the dry hydrotherapy massage bed which was awesome, it is a full body jetted massage bed that has settings for water pressure & speed of motion as well as for targeted areas of interest. This is a fully clothed massage bed for those uncomfortable with traditional massage & doesn’t require any additional purchase. I also tried the hydration chamber which is a heated steam capsule that you lay in completely naked. There is a required purchase for an oil to apply for this treatment, it targets cellulite to help pull toxins out & seal moisture in. Although the full bottle is $ 40 they offered a $ 10 sample & a $ 10 discount off the regular priced bottle if you choose to purchase. The sample is enough to for 2 – 3 treatments, it feels great & had a lovely scent. It is important to realize the steam chamber gets to 118 – 120 degrees & at times I didn’t think I would make the full 30 min, it is no joke HOT! Each of these treatments would regularly cost $ 35 so I am quite please with my groupon purchase and with this contemporary spa, Anna was knowledgeable and helpful as well as kind. The other treatments being infrared facial which requires purchase of cleaning & moisturizing product– sample pack avail; teeth whitening & tanning or spray tan. If you will be sampling many of the treatments they have a spa bag avail for $ 35 that has sample products for each treatment rather than purchasing a full bottle.

Bought it as a Groupon. They wanted me to purchase oil just to lay on a bed and sweat. Everything has an upcharge. Ended up requesting a refund from Groupon. TOTALRIPOFF! Underwhelming equipment.

I was referred to this spa by purchasing a Living Social voucher. I tried the massage bed on two separate occasions. Both times the massage pressure would drop to a trickle and then back up to full pressure over and over. I was told the first time that a service call would be made. The second time, I was told this is how the bed normally runs and has been the entire time she has worked there. The facial required the purchase of overpriced cleanser/activation serum/after treatment so I opted out of it completely; although 3 sets of 3 treatments is what was purchased. The hydration bed was the exception to an otherwise disappointing experience. The only problem? Requiring the purchase of an overpriced $ 40 bottle of oil. When I was going to use only 1 of the 3 services, I decided to cancel the whole mess. Living Social was a pleasure to work with. Planet Beach advised I needed to talk to the owner to request a refund on the oil; however, when I called the person on the phone wouldn’t transfer me to her. Instead, she gave me a completely different answer about the massage table. She also indicated the refund policy is clearly posted and there are no refunds. Exchanges only on unopened products. Great, I’m stuck with a $ 40 bottle of soybean oil. Avoid this place — it is a total rip off! I tried Plant Beach in Fort Worth on S. Hulen and the service couldn’t have been more different. They received 5 stars!
