I can not believe this place is in business!!! I made a Unilocal account just to give this place a bad review. My girlfriend bought a groupon and had me take the car to get a simple oil change. I foolishly tried to go on a Saturday and as a former lube tech for many years I knew that was a bad idea. The guy did tell me I could wait 4 hours if i wanted to or come back another day. There was only 3 cars ahead of me for oil changes but that didn’t bother me and i chose to go back at another time. I went back to this same location today and was astounded at how eagerly the employees tried to turn me away. They would not take my groupon print out. Said he was not allowed to accept it unless i showed him my phone. No big deal really. I had to log into my girlfriends account to show him the groupon page. Now it is getting annoying. He types for about 5 minutes and then tells me the recommended oil is not included. I asked for the usual 10w40 that Ive been using in the car for years and he says no. He tells me i can not choose which oil i want in my own car. Now I’m mad. He then tells me it will be an extra $ 22 to use the oil that corporate says he has to use. So a grand total of $ 50 for a groupon special. I can go to any oil change place or do it myself for $ 20…No coupon needed. Thanks Precision tune for absolutely nothing except wasting my time and money.

I just got off the phone with Daryl the man in charge with this location and after a short conversation with me he actually hung up on me like we were in Jr High. It now occurs to me that the reason this company is so horrible is because all the way to the top of the corporate structure these people are rude and unprofessional people that don’t care about their company and its reputation. He in no way tried to rectify the situation. Please stay away from this place at all costs.

This place sucks. They came back to me twice trying to get me buying a new filter and change another liquid and stuff. I went there for an oil change and filter change. Everything was supposed to be included and then they made me buy another oil filter saying that the one in my car isn’t standard. I ve heard them with other customers. Always the same game

I had a Groupon for this place to get «one premium oil change, tire rotation, battery & charging-​system check, and brake inspection.» I was unaware that appointments were necessary since on the Groupon voucher it says it’s recommended. So I came there around 9am on June 11^th and was told I had to make an appointment in order to receive service. This really bummed me out because I was leaving to Austin later that day and the place is about 20 minutes away from my house, waste of time and gas.
So now I need an oil change, and made sure to make an appointment with them. Was scheduled at 10 am today, arrived on time just to be disappointed once again. Once I came in I let the man at the front desk know I had a Groupon and needed an oil change, then he told they weren’t accepting Groupons today because Groupon’s system is down and they have no way of verifying the Groupon. Then he offered that I do an oil change without the Groupon, but I declined because the Groupon was the only reason for bringing me to that place in the first place. Plus if I just got the oil change it would have costed me more than the Groupon plus I wouldn’t be receiving the tire rotation, battery & charging-​system check, and brake inspection. Which I thought was strange because you can mark a Groupon as redeemed after use on your phone, and that’s how every other Groupon I’ve used at other places have done it.
He said he’d give me a call whenever they get the system working again, but after reading other reviews on this place I highly doubt I’ll ever come back.

Brought a Groupon for this place to get my wife car an oil change got there the guy in front of me been told going to be 2 ½ –3 hrs which happened to me last time I was here which I thought speed of service changed. Come to my turn the guy at the desk asked do I have appt I said no then he said today all booked up have to tomorrow or Wednesday. Since when you have to make appt for oil change I’m not quite sure but here’s go my money down to drain cuz it’s only my day off.
Saw only 2 guys in the shop maybe they should prepare more staff before running special
Tips…call before you go or buy your groupon

Came here last week, was told that I had to make an appointment for an oil change. Called this morning to make an appointment and was told that the place was fully staffed and no appointment was necessary. Came to the location within 30 minutes and the guy said that he is booked and I have to make an appointment for tomorrow. Don’t know what game they are trying to pull, but I used to come here all the time and even got 3 of my friends to come here. Taking business elsewhere.

Absolutely overpriced, especially if they think they can fool you into paying more for a service, and even if you print off a coupon either from their website or groupon it most likely won’t be acknowledged.

I have to admit, the customer service might be good.
However, don’t be deceived. Similar to other reviews below, I went in with a groupon for an oil change and the owner came out with a list of problems with the car.
The oil change took up to 2 hours and he tallied up the sum of the problem with my car which are basic maintenance issue for an impossible cost!
I took my car back in for a tune up and apparently I was charged almost a ridiculous price. I went ahead and did it cause they made it seem like an emergency.
Called my mechanic the next day he said he could have done it for half of what was charged.
Wont go back again.

Very high price for very basic tune up.
Paid almost $ 400 and wound up fixing the original problem myself anyway. Bill makes no sense still not sure exactly what I was charged for.

As a single mother, I often find auto maintenance places to take advantage of women. I felt completely comfortable and trusting of the staff from the moment I walked in the door. I purchased the groupon and hoped they would honor the certificate and not try to run up the price. When I walked in I was greeted, the communication was open and clear, and they performed what the certificate entailed and they were courteous, professional and trustworthy

Friendly knowledgable staff. Had premium oil change from a Groupon I purchased and was done within the hour. They informed me of how poor a shape my brakes were in and after calling around we went back to have them service the brakes. Respectful staff too… No honey, doll, or sweetie used when addressing me which has happened several times before at other places.

I too bought a groupon before doing research. I’m very annoyed with this place. First they tried selling me services at a «discounted price», thinking I would think it’s a good deal. It was insulting. Second they had a hidden fee of $ 5 for canister oil filter which I have never been charged for with oil changes. I admit I saw the fine print about the extra charge after the fact, but I had such a hassle-​free experience with Jiffy Tube, I didn’t think to be cautious. I was lured in with their «brake inspection and tire rotation» which I’m not even sure they did. I’m coming back Jiffy!!!
I do NOT recommend Precision Auto.

These guys were super nice, friendly and quick with my service.
Then, I got the car home. I took it in for another oil change to a different establishment, and they showed me that my tires were not rotated (like they should have been) causing enough problems to need an alignment. I was told by PTAC at the time of my initial oil change that if did not need a tire rotation. Right.
There was also a crack in my fuel line that they said is most likely months old. If these guys had checked (like they should have), I would’ve had that fixed a long time ago.
Nice guys, friendly, but at the end of the day, I think they cost me a lot of money.

HALLELUJAH!!!, I’m picking up my vehicle… And it is running ! Andre, the new manager, has kept me informed every step of the way while my car has been in their shop with a puzzling ailment. John, SR. VP, has also been Involved and treated me with professionalism and respect. I appreciate everyone’s help and hard work. Thanks to «y’all», I have my trusty old friend back in the driveway.

I was nervous before service and I’m nervous after service I will be posting if something goes wrong with my baby! Went in for the groupon oil change… 2 customers came in with complaints while I was waiting which made me uneasy but the guy there was really great at handling their situations. They came for other types of work, way more than oil changes. I just want my car to be ok but I will be going back to the dealership for the next one just for a piece of mind

I hate to even give this company 1 star. But I have no choice. Anyway… I purchased a groupon for an oil change. Called the company to schedule an appointment for the next day. The next day came & I got a call that my appointment needed to be moved due to a co worker breaking his back and they were under staffed. Ok… no prob. My appointment was then moved to the next business day. I called to confirm my appointment for that day and kevin (manger) told me that they couldn’t get me in. He then asked if he could call me back. I said sure… guess what??? No call back nor an oil change. Finally called groupon for a refund… Take your own risk with this shop. I definitely prefer you not.

I’ll admit, I was a little skeptical about this place after reading previous reviews. However, I had already purchased a groupon so I was practically locked in to going. I’m so grateful that I did.
First of all, the groupon they having running is an amazing deal. You get 6 services that separately would total up to over $ 100, for the price of their premium oil change which is $ 25. Besides that, the quality of service I received was amazing! The mechanic was very knowledgeable and honest. One of the services with the gropon is a tire rotation. He let me know right away that rotating my tires would be a bad idea at the moment, and let me know that whenever it was time I could come back to get it done for no charge.
At the end of my visit, I received a detailed list of everything that had been done/​checked on my car which included recommendations for any issue he noticed. Overall I was more than pleased with the service and will definitely be going back. I saw on a separate review site that they were under new management. If this is true, they are doing a wonderful job and if you live in the area this is definitely where you should be going for your car service needs.

Agreed. This place is a scam. And the super saver card is a waste of money. Fees not disclosed on the card are charged with no explanation and no receipts are provided.
In addition, services are recommended that are not necessary. My first oil change I was told that my brakes were completely worn out. Two months later, at my next oil change, my brakes were rated as not needing work although nothing had been done in the interim.
I was also told I needed a new alternator when a battery replacement (much cheaper) at another shop completely fixed the problem.

Rocky, the owner is very abrupt, I heard him on the phone to 3 other customers/​potential customers.
beyond that he is a CHEATER.
He offers coupons which you can pay for, in my case $ 33.00 for 3 FREE oil changes and up to 2 tire rotations, An A/​C system check and more … Called the Auto care super saver. the card states there are still some charges such as a $ 3.25 oil disposal fee plus tax, and $ 3.99 per quart for more than 5 qts oil. R/v’s, ¾ tom trucks and full size vans extra.
for my Jeep (6qts), he charged me $ 12.29 for the most basic oil change and filter. (he skipped the lube. this is supposedly a $ 34.99 value.
$ 33.00 for 3 FREE oil changes plus $ 12.29 in fees+taxes equals $ 23.29(FREE) oil change.
he offered no explanation of the fees and did not give a receipt.

went to get a oil change today and i was very unhappy. i had a coupon from living social and they acted like they didn’t know what it was and then try to sell me their coupon instead and when i try to explain the living social coupon to them the owner of the place yell at me, he’s lucky i didn’t punch him. please do not go here, has very bad customer service
