If you’re in Arlington and your craving for chocolate begins to overwhelm you, visit Rocky Mountain. It’s a small shop next door to Freebirds but don’t let the size fool you, there is a lot of chocolate inside. It’s a lot, I mean really. By that I am really referring to the size of everything. The chocolate covered apples are humongous. The next largest might be the chocolate covered s’mores. to sum this up, I’ll say you can get a Texas-sized sugar fix here. After drooling for a few minutes, I passed over the king size peanut butter cups and got dark chocolate graham crackers and vanilla pecan fudge. Seriously delicious. I will say the chocolate was a little too thick on the graham cracker. The fudge was perfect, so creamy and loaded with pecans. They get pretty creative too. I saw chocolate covered licorice sticks but I’m not on that level so I passed.

The chocolates are on the expensive side. And I wouldn’t recommend eating them after a day. I had gotten quite a few as a present from a friend. And by the second day, they were already half as tasty. They have a wide range of flavors, but of the wide range, I only liked a few. The other ones were too sweet.

Love this place. I’ve actually only been to the one in the DFW International Airport. I’m not a huge chocolate fan but I love chocolate covered strawberries every once in a while. I Honestly don’t know anywhere else to get great chocolate covered strawberries. They even do white chocolate covered strawberries! I came in this location and they didn’t have the white ones but I bought 3 regular chocolate strawberries. Came out to be $ 6 and some change. A bit pricey but worth it to me.

I used to love this place, but my last visit on was terrible! The lady up front was very unprofessional and ghetto. Felt like we were in an episode with Bonquiqui.

Lets get Chocolate Wasted!!! If too much sugar didn’t give me a headache i would moonlight as a chocolatier here on the weekends and eat most of my profits… The massive Apples smothered in caramel, chocolate, sometimes both and rolled in various items like marshmallows or pecans are my kryptonite… Thanks to Domain D. I am now also addicted to the Chocolate covered potato chips. Good Lawd they are good!

Ginormous chocolate/caramel/nut covered apples. There are so many varieties and options that Paul H. and I actually came back the next day to get some more. The sweetness of the candy pairs so well with the succulent fruit. I haven’t tried their regular chocolate offering(pralines, fudge, and truffles) but I know their candy covered apples will keep me coming back for more. They will cut the apples for you to help make your enjoyment easier.
