Love the cozy feel of the place & it looks very clean. I’ve came here multiple times and my frappé always tasted a little weird. Not necessarily bad but weird. Tastes like the barista rushed to make the frappé or just slapped it together carelessly. But I’ll still continue to come back to this Starbucks when I don’t feel like going to pentagon city.

This is one of my two regular coffee shops in the Columbia Pike/S. Walter Reed area: it is open from early in the morning until late in the evening, within walking distance of my apartment, and clean. The staff is both friendly and efficient. Seating is almost always available. Thank you, Adam and Rosa, for the warm and hospitable service you provided during today’s snowstorm.

I love my neighborhood Starbucks. The staff is pleasant and my drinks are always good. My new drink is a tall soy latte with one toffee nut pump. So good and they make it well. I really like the community table and seating area. I wish they would expand into the empty space next door, because it can get crowded during the week.

Come here and expect: plenty of seating– both cozy and studious, Clover brewing, no merchandise What I got from it: First Review for 2016 is for… Starbucks! And it’s a 5 star location! No I don’t work for them. You’ll see I have reviewed other sites in DC and this is the first site across the river that I have reviewed. In many ways, it’s my payment of respect to a place that is super cool with all types of customers: you get the casual business meet ups, the student, the independent without an office, the man who is homeless, and the snobby hipster looking for a dependable gourmet coffee. Starbucks doesn’t reject anyone. This location has plenty of different types of people coming in and it’s awesome. I’m all about diversity. I appreciate their interior. It’s spacious and has a cozy nook for those looking to relax and not be industrious at the tables. There are outlets for your laptop, or if you are looking for a breath of fresh air, they are located across from the apartment community park that has plenty of seating outdoors!(Note: not much shade yet, but those trees will grow.) I love that they offer Clover Brewing here. I wish almost every location did and that they would promote it well. There are some great beans to try out other than the normal ones they serve on drip. I have had great customer service here as well, so I’m not certain about the other reviews except to say that they must have gotten a barista in a awkward crunch. Too bad most Starbucks get a low rating on Unilocal. Most deserve higher praise for being the only meet up spaces that is affordable and convenient. This Starbucks on Columbia Pike is worth your visit! As my rating says, «As good as it gets!»

If I could give a 0 I would. Worst customer service. There is a line of 6 and growing. The lady behind the counter keeps telling me one more minute. «Wait patiently«. The other lady is sweeping. She should stop sweeping and go work the register. Hello ladies customer service … Wake up!

For as bustling of a place as the pike is, Rappahannock has been the only coffee/tea socialization spot for a long time. I do love them, but their early closing hours make it difficult to go after work. Thus, this Starbucks was needed here. Do I wish it were an independent unique coffee shop instead of corporate Starbucks? Maybe. But beggars can’t be choosers. The utilization of the space is smart. Where the last business used one of the L nooks as storage space, Starbucks has a long table for communal work and outlets underneath for laptops. So far, everything is still new and shiny.

Very disappointed in this Starbucks. We live right around the corner so I was super excited to visit. Let me start off by saying I’ve never had a bad Starbucks experience ANYWHERE before this. A few weeks ago, I went in and ordered two standard hot drinks(one toasted graham latte, one salted caramel mocha). I didn’t ask for anything added or anything special, I just wanted the standard drink. Well, I watched the barista, GABBY, make the drinks and she didn’t put any of the standard toppings on either of them. One comes with whipped cream and caramel syrup I think, and the other comes with some other sort of topping. When she gave them to me, I said calmly, «don’t they come with toppings? Can you put on whipped cream?»(Not knowing exactly what they are supposed to come with, that’s the barista’s job or so I thought) Anyway, she gave me some major attitude about it and was not pleased that I called her out on making the drinks incorrectly. I was pretty upset about her behavior, not about the drinks necessarily, and wanted to call to complain but couldn’t find a phone number online so this will have to do. You would think that a new Starbucks would try to focus as much as possible on great customer service. Oh yeah, the drinks sucked anyway. From now on, I’m back to driving to Pentagon City for my Starbucks.

I have been to Starbucks all over the world. This one is by far the least efficient and slowest. Go if you have half a day to stand in line and want to play roulette with your options, as having menu items in stock is seemingly optional for this location.

It’s your typical Starbucks, but what it lacks in originality is perhaps made up for by its mere existence — there is a definite lack of spaces on Columbia Pike where you can just grab a cup of coffee, sit down, and read a book/do some work. The store is pretty much brand spankin’ new, and compared to some other urban Starbucks I’ve been to, is pretty airy and spacious. There are a variety of seating options, including stools at a bar near the entrance, traditional 4-person tables, a communal table, high tables, and arm chairs. Free wi-fi is always a plus. Keep a look out for: — A wooden wall art piece over by the arm chairs. Apparently, it’s the American flag(yay patriotism!). — The Clover brewing system for those who enjoy their fancy fancy coffees. — A dinner/late-night menu, which, rumor has it, is coming soon to this location.

It’s another Starbucks in Arlington… serving over-priced milk-shakes and stale coffee. This Starbucks is in a great location but has the usual lack-luster and tasteless Starbucks fare. You have options for good independent coffee in Arlington, on the Pike and towards Clarendon. This area is expanding with a lot of great new bars and restaurants… just stay away from the Starbucks!

Brand new Starbucks. As another reviewer mentioned, the other coffee shop options around here are pretty awful so this is great! It’s a nice, bright layout and currently, it’s doesn’t seem very busy — maybe people don’t really know about it yet. Given that the area is expected to build up over the next few years, this will no doubt become a very busy location. One negative is the air conditioning seems to be set on ‘full blast’ mode and it’s kinda cold! One of the employees told me that this will be an ‘evening store’ in a few months time, where they’ll be serving craft beers etc at night. Sounds good to me!

This Starbucks is newly opened on the Pike. This area, and Arlington in general, lacks lots of good coffee shops. I’m not the biggest Starbucks fan, but it is better than other nearby options, so I’m sure I’ll be returning. Staff is friendly and everything is new and clean.
