I know it may be bizarre to review a fast food place, but if you are in Texas and love fast food Tex mex this makes perfect sense. Bueno has the best and freshest fast food tex mex anywhere. Their breakfast menu is fantastic. Their vegetarian options are easily customizable and everything is fresh, from tortillas to beans and pico. Before I moved to Texas I only had Taco Bell. I haven’t been to Taco Bell since.

I’m a huge fan of consistency… and Taco Bueno delivers every time! I have had just about everything on the menu, including breakfast items. Lunch today was the Wholotta Plater and it was fantastic! Wish I had someone to split it with… its a TON of food! It’s 1:30 so this’ll be lunch and dinner.

It’s a great location and the food is OK, if you’re looking for a Taco Bell alternative. However, because of the location, it can get rather busy and food prep can suffer as a result.

My wife and I visit this location 2 – 5 times a month. For several years now. Not once have we ever had bad food or bad service. The folks that work here are top notch!

I normally enjoy getting breakfast from taco bueno but this particular morning I ordered an egg, bacon, potato burrito that wasn’t so good. It was obvious the potatos were old, hard and reheated. I’ll go back but this was the first dissapointment.

Visited Taco Bueno to fulfill a late-night taco craving.
First, this place is too pricy and does not deliver in taste or quality. I ordered two soft tacos (by the way, a chicken one is 1.89 a pop-rip-off), a southwest empanada and rice and beans.
Where to begin? The flour tortillas tasted unheated and gummy from the filling. The southwest empanada was okay but it was teeny. The rice container was only ¾ of the way filled, and had a strong acidic taste to it. The beans reminded me of canned refried beans and had a greazy layer of cheddar cheese on the top.
I was not impressed. At best, the service was good and the woman who gave me my order was very friendly and nice.

This Bueno is located in quite the busy location and it delivers, 100%.
Even though the drive-thru had numerous cars ahead and behind us, they got us moved through the line at lightening speed. Service was friendly, they loaded us up with extra salsa (bonus) and my special order was correct.
Will def be back next time I’m in the area, had a great experience here.
