After our day touring the Stadium we were famished and had no intentions on spending 10 $ for nachos a la Jerry. Walked across the Walmart parking lot to Tailgate Tavern. Now this was an odd time of day 3pm so too late for lunch but too early for the night crowd. Having said that i had good munchies and a drink to my liking. Check out the Cowboys insignia EVERYWHERE very cool. Service-5– I didn’t catch his name but this whole place had one man running the show… literally… poor guy had maybe 12 people at the bar then us and 10 other people in the dining area… which if he didn’t have to come out from behind the bar 52 times i’m sure it would have been fine but i’ was watching him sweat as he buzzed around the room. The more reason to give it a 5***** even thanked us for being patient with him and bought us a shot. Food– Got the Chipotle Ranch Wings and fries. Juicy crunchy and i don’t know what the deal with the fries but i about ordered another basket! Super reasonably priced, thought about going back in after the game but it looked like a mob of people i was in no mood for.

Closed this place down on a week night… a throwback to my younger years. Our waitress Ashley/Danielle took stellar care of us, all 16 of us. The night started with 100 oz. tubes of beer and ended with, what else, shots. The food was typical pre-game bar food but the plates were piled high and served hot. The owner even hung out with us for a bit, not a bad local place to start or end your evening.

I had a horrible experience I walked in me and my girlfriend which are white and by best friend which is black went to the bar ordered a drink said nothing and next thing I know there kicking my friend out! He had done nothing wrong the said he smelled like pot! He doesn’t smoke pot! It was just an excuse for a racist ploy! This place is like going back to 1965. I want to look into further action this Is a total civil rights violation and discrimination! Further more who kicks someone out for smelling like pot really this place is so ran some true bigots!

This sports bar is near blue Lot 10 of AT&T stadium in Arlington TX. It is easily within a short walking distance from that parking lot. We got there about an hour before kickoff and it was nearly empty. This is because it was packed and busy earlier and then people had begun to move out and walk to the stadium. It is a very well decorated(Dallas Cowboys) sports bar and therefore it was fun to sit at one of the bars and completely immerse into sports related discussions and get your drink on before going to the game. The pricing of the drinks/beer was still more expensive than your standard sports bar outside of the complex. This was more than made up by extremely friendly and entertaining bartenders. There were 4 of us and our goal was to get in there and have a few drinks before the game. We accomplished that and walked over to the stadium and watched the game. I will go back to Tailgate Tavern during my next trip to AT&T stadium.

The only reason I give them an extra star is for the location. Besides that, this place is worse than a high school cafeteria. Practically inedible and a bad beer menu to boot.

Closest bar to the stadium. They do charge for parking but still a good deal if you carpool. Prices are decent and so is the food. Nothing special but not too bad. For big game days, they have special(limited) menus.

Wow, first off they don’t open at 11, even though their site, phone, and staff say they do. On a game day they open at noon. ever been to a bar where you can reserve tables… How about the individual seats at the bar? Yup, me neither. Never even heard of it. So with that I say enjoy your one star, wish I could give less.

Burger way over cooked, fries were good and the beer was cold. Service slow and would have been nice to have a napkin or two with the food. Probably wouldn’t go out of my way to come back.

The owner has a stick up his ass and apparently doesnt understand that customers keep(or wont keep) him in business. The bartenders however are super friendly. They are the only saving grace because the food is awful. Wendy’s is nearby, cheaper and better quality. If you’re going to the game, I would recommend eating and/or drinking in Lincoln square and then take their trolleys rather than at this establishment.

So my wife and I saw this place before the Alabama-Michigan game this year as an oasis in a barren pregame landscape. We showed up at 11:30am. There were already about 100 people standing around saying they were not open. No news, no nothing. So we waited at a table till they«opened». You had plenty of bar girls walking around outside, moving ice, etc, but none would talk to anyone, answer with anything beyond«we are not open» or blank stare. One guy suggested selling just beers, since it was near 100 degrees, and she laughed and kept walking. One guy come out from inside and said the tavern was $ 25 before you could even order a beer. Some sort of tailgate event for the game going on. No signs, no announcement, no MANAGER came outside. After 15 minutes, we left when the crowd started getting rowdy. This place was perfect, except they sold no food or beer or customer service before noon. Booooring. Went to the BBQ place across the main road there and they were PACKED and drank a few pitchers in the AC with tons of other fans. Tailgate Tavern just turns you away. Texas attitude I guess.

Great nachos!!! And its close to both cowboys stadium and rangers ballpark in arlington. Plus they have a shuttle to the rangers game and back after the game. Great place to go if your going to a ball game

Nice location and pretty building. Food however is very average. I think next time, I will for sure just eat at the stadium. We had the chips and queso and the queso was just that weird yellow nacho cheese. No flavor whatsoever. Chips were fried in house and really greasy. It looked like they got the regular colored chips and just refried them. The salsa was nothing to get excited about either. We also had the slider appetizer and they were really good. My sister had a cobb salad and it look horrific. She said it wasn’t bad, but the ham was really fatty so she didn’t eat any of it. Honestly, I won’t visit this place again to eat, but if I were going to drink before a game, I am sure it would be fine.

I’m convinced that Tailgate Tavern is the Metroplex’s best kept secret. Fortunately for me, the surrounding bars get overcrowded before anyone makes their way to this hidden gem located directly across from Cowboys Stadium. During game days, you can park there and they will shuttle you to the front of the stadium, and it’s cheaper than anywhere you see off Collins! Not to mention, once you are inside, the food is excellent. It’s bar food, but you can tell everything is cooked to order. From their buffalo wings and burgers to sweet potato fries. Sometimes you’ll go in they’ll be serving something off the menu like peach-rubbed ribs or crawfish! They have a huge screen at the end of the bar with tons of flat screens all around. They also have karaōke on Friday nights and a separate room with a pool table and dart boards. They also have two patios outside with umbrellas which is great for good weather with the view of Jerry’s World right in front of you! I almost wish I wasn’t writing this because I’m going to ruin my pleasure of being able to walk in, sit in the best seat in the house at their huge bar in the middle, get served quickly and just watch sports. If you ever take the time to find this place, you’ll never go to one of the busy chains around there again!
