I don’t see how this place can be 4 stars worthy. I don’t want to discredit this place too much, my bf and I wanted to go somewhere for a romantic date night, which the ambiance definitely provides. Pretty bar, and very nice dinning room with good lighting and romantic music. The wine selections was ok, although I feel like there could be more verity. We ordered the chorizo appetizer, which was very good, to start. But our experience went downhill after our entrees arrived. My bf ordered his steak medium well and I ordered medium rare. His arrived so well it was brown, and mine was a very light pink in the middle. Having experience at a fine dinning steak house, I would have appreciated the server talk more color when it came to temperatures for steaks. I understand not everyone’s view of medium rare is the same. I definitely did not appreciate our server telling us we got at we ordered. Medium rare is not pink, and medium well is not brown. Over all, out experience was not 4 stars.

Went for Valentine’s Day, I’m an Argentinian(extremely picky) that lives in Miami, I’m here for the weekend and my boyfriend made a reservation to surprise me. He couldn’t pick a better place. The service was out of this world, I wish I remember the name of the server, I only remember he was Colombian and from Medellin. The food was outstanding, typical Argentinian home made food. The old man by the door was also very sweet. If you live in this area and you are down for good meat and good service stop by you will not regret it!!!

I don’t see what the big fuzz is about this place. We, the group of 5 people that went there, didn’t find this place to be a 4 stars. I think the reviews are a bit overrated. Here is why: 1. Food wasn’t anything special(My friend just came from Latin America, he is the one that dragged us to this place. He didn’t like the steaks, the chimichurri, nor pretty much anything else they brought us. The others agreed with him. 2. Service was somewhat mediocre. For 5 people, they brought us a basket with 4 pieces of bread. We had to wait for everything. 3. We ordered two Bifes de Chorizo. 1 order was supposed to be shared between 2 people. They definitely ripped us off on that order. It was not a 20oz steak. It in fact was even different cut. It was very obvious especially when you could see the other Bife order right next to it. The only thing right about the order was the bill that correctly had two Bifes on it :)

What a neighborhood gem! Like being transported to another country. Warm, friendly, great cocktails and wine list — server very helpful with suggestions and explanations and service was fast. Food inventive and delicious. We will be back!

Tango has seriously declined… the last 3 times I went it was just ok, but recently on New Years Eve it was just awful. They rave about butchering their own filets, and the Argentine preparation, but the filet was no better(maybe even worse) than I would buy at Demoula Market Basket. The portions were ridiculously small and for $ 60 a plate(price fix for NYE). I was shocked a the poor quality. Normally the chimichurri sauce is really good, but even my gf thought it tasted like cheap salad dressing. I am not going back… the place is horrible now… kind of sad actually, and no excuse for serving way below average steak at a establishment that touts itself to be a steakhouse.

This place is fantastic. My boyfriend and I have been here three different times, most recently for our anniversary last week. The servers are always very friendly and attentive. The food has been spot on each time, obviously with many steak options. Last week I actually got the lamb, which was delicious. They have a solid cocktail menu, as well as, beer list. Your meal won’t be cheap here but it is always worth it and the portions are generous. Give it a try!

The chimichuri is amazing. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The food is delicious and the bar service is great. I can’t complain about anything here. I have been three times with my girlfriend and we have enjoyed every time. You can definitely spend some money here but you get a great dinner. Steaks here seem to be the thing, I had the flank steak last rime we visited and it was tender and delicious. Everything I have had has been delicious. One thing I will say is I wish they had a mashed potato side every day. Very minor. You should go and eat and enjoy it. The Buenos Aires cocktail is a nice treat.

If Tango wasn’t pricey I would love to go there every night! My boyfriend and I have gone there for dinner two Friday nights and it is definitely a winner– not just because of the food but because of the atmosphere. We don’t like going to restaurants that are loud and packed– like most on a Friday night! Tango is a beautiful place with great service and we always get a nice table with a little space! The food both times we went was phenonemal. We always pick a few appetizers and split a meal and everything we have tried has been so fresh and delicious. The steak is especially good and the stuffed peppers were delicious as well. We love you Tango– thank you!

The food was delicious. We were comatose after eating. I had the filet mignon with roquefort sauce. Chuleta de cordero was also to die for.

I’ve only eaten here once, but was impressed by the service and food(in that order). I had a delicious appetizer of dates wrapped in bacon and cheese. For dinner I had a sandwich with sausage and roasted peppers, onions, etc. I recall some well chosen beers on the list as well, which is always welcome. There seem to be a lot of wildly differing opinions about Tango, but I would definitely recommend checking it out for yourself.

i went to Tango expecting this incredible Brazilian meat experience. Disappointing. Although the atmosphere and service was fine — the food is just average. The steak I got was not high quality and not even as good as something you’d get from a butcher. The veggie/potato sides were below average — soggy and flavorless. The people were nice — I just wish the food was better. It was a Sunday and I know usually the head chef has that day off. Maybe that was the problem?

For a place with a great atmosphere and great location the food is extremely disappointing… Our food came out in less than 5 minutes(I had ordered lasagna and my friend had ordered stuffed-baked peppers) and the food was burning hot. The first thing that came to mind was … Microwaved. The taste was pretty bland, no exceptional component. The service was not memorable. The one star is for the tangy sauce they serve with the bread. Will not be going back.

Things I love about this place: killer apps, awesome drinks, and great steaks. Definitely a good spot for a spontaneous date night(ahem) or when family is town. You’re able to come as you are. The staff are always friendly and welcoming.

I didn’t know what to expect due to mix reviews. Our server Edison was very tentative, polite, so was the other server. The food was great. We had parrilla, empanadas, etc. I didn’t expect to have good Argentinian food in the east coast. Wine selection is small but good. Had great experience. We will definitely come back. Wife was very happy with birthday dinner.

My wife and I met some friends here for a fantastic meal last night. I arrived early, and sat at the bar with an appetizer and a drink while I waited. I had the Buenos Aires martini with a trio of empanadas – the bartender recommended the ham and cheese and the beef, and warned me that the beef was spiced and had raisins – which was delicious – and I threw in the chicken just for good measure. I also got bread and chimichurri sauce, which was incredible. The table got more empanadas and the blood sausage as an appetizer, and we shared some house wine, which was reasonably priced and very tasty. For dinner, my wife and I got the Parillada Argentina – and it came with the best sweetbreads I have ever tasted. We got the meal for two, and probably should have just ordered a single serving – it was a TON of food, and we ended up bringing most of it home. The meal for two could easily feed four if you started with appetizers. Everything was amazing. I also want to commend the staff – from the bartender to our waiter, everyone was fast and attentive, and took amazingly good care of us. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and can’t wait to go back.

Came here for a New Year’s Eve dinner with my fiancé’s family. This was perhaps the worst meal I have ever had, bar none. Waited for a long time even though we had reservations. They simply couldn’t handle the number of patrons they wanted to serve. I ordered a steak with roasted vegetables. Steak came out over done even though I specified medium rare. Veggies were soggy and tasteless. The server couldn’t understand our order. Everything about the meal was terrible. And the best part is that it cost over $ 500 for 5. What a waste of money.

As Argentinians longing for«asado»(Argentinian meat bbq style) we couldn’t not go to this restaurant. So there we went and ordered the empanadas, entraña and other cuts. The verdict: they do cook the meat pretty much like in Argentina, and the menu has everything a nostalgic asado lover can dream of(except for asado de tira, one of the most popular pieces!). But the empanadas where seemed like deep fried, which made it difficult to taste the filling beyond the frying oil, and the place overall was more like a regular restaurant: it lacked an argentinean deco. Go there, avoid the empanadas(the mollejas where very good!) and top your night with flan or panqueque with dulce de leche!

We went here for my fiancé’s birthday and it was an all around very good experience. It was quite convenient that on his birthday there happened to be a special wine event. This included a social hour with unlimited Argentinian wine. The atmosphere was welcoming and the managers and owners were walking around explaining the flavor of wine and the origins and socializing with everyone. It honestly felt more like a party than a restaurant, definitely a good family ambiance. Once everyone was seated, the owner ended the social and gave a toast. He then announced the meal and wine pairing significance as he would before each course. The food was cooked very well, the steak was phenomenal. The desert was lovely. It was nice to have a small and specific menu. I can’t speak for the day to day menu but I would highly suggest attending one of their events.

The ambience was lovely, and the service was fine, but the food was just meh. The best thing we had were the empanadas as an appetizer. Flaky, tender, nicely seasoned filling… delicious. However, the grilled pork was tough and dry — we had to dunk it in a sauce to make it palatable. The bread they gave us was weirdly cheap too… it had no flavor or color to it. I almost wonder if we got the wrong dish by choosing the pork. Oh well. We generally felt we paid too much for what we got.

Second time here and unfortunately the chefs may be different. Ordered the Argentinian parrilla and the steak ordered medium well came out burnt. The chicken was just the breast and too dry. Wanted to complain but didn’t want to raise an issue because of the business associates i was with. Not worth the money. The sides were embarrassingly small. The only thing good was the flan. Ive been to several steak places and this was not good for the price. If you are not happy, return it. You shouldn’t pay these prices for what they offer.

I love love love this place. First of all, the host(a very kind smooth older gentleman) seated us in a cozy window seat and we had several appetizers(dates wrapped in bacon, and meatballs). Both appetizers were superb and they go so well with the drinks that we ordered(some of us ordered«tango old fashion». I was in love with that drink, mm mm mmm!!!) steak was great, and the sauce that we chose with it(creamy peppercorn sauce) was perfect with our steak that was cooked JUSTRIGHT(I ordered medium rare). Would I go back there? You bet! This place became one of my favorite :-)

I dined here on a Gilt City deal and made reservations for Sunday night at 6pm, early bird special. As soon as we got there we were greeted by the bartender and promptly sat. We were given the gilt city menu after I mentioned that thats what we had and the menu had a lot of items on it to satisfy our palate. We each got an app, entrée with 2 sides and a dessert to share. We got some rolls to start with their homemade chimmichurri sauce that was pretty good. Had the right amount of spices and enough vinegar to taste. The rolls were a little cold and not warm as expected but still good when you are hungry. Our server was great and friendly. Here’s what we ordered: Meatballs — 3 huge meatballs with a minty spice but overall were good Polenta — this was great, crispy with a mushroom madeira sauce. I liked this a lot and would order it over the meatballs again Skirt steak with rice and butternut squash — this was awesome and I would definitely it over the other steak options. Juicy, cooked perfectly, I ordered it medium and it was medium — AMEN to cooks that know what medium is. The squash of butternut and sweet potato. Perfectly pureed and seasoned well. 12oz Sirloin — had a little fat to it but was pretty good, the Tango fries were tasty. They looked like potato chips with garlic taste to them. Flan — the texture was a little off but the sauces it came with were tasty. Overall, the experience was good, the place got busy around 6:30. I wish the live band was playing so I’ll definitely come back to sit at the bar and listen to some live music. Gilt deal was a perfect way to dine at a restaurant for the first time and given the food and service were great we will definitely come again.
