The Art of Hair Salon

I called the business after purchasing a groupon for 2 massages there, and they advise me that they do not even have a massage therapist who can provide the services because apparently they only had one and that person quit. I was told that a manager would call me back that afternoon. I did not receive a callback so I called back the next day and reached another person who told me the same thing and wanted me to wait again for a manager to call me back. I contacted Groupon to get a refund, but they only want to give me credit on their site which is worthless to me since there is nothing else I want there. This company is failing to manage their relationship with Groupon because 2 days later the site is still selling Groupons for a service they cannot provide, and their failure has caused me to convert my real money to Groupon bucks that are useless to me. Very unhappy with this business.

So this place advertise their hours to be open till 8pm monday to friday. My partner had a haircut and some highlights booked for 5:30pm. This booking was made 2 weeks ago and confirmed by the salon the day before. Leo was responsible for the appointment because my partner prefers him and on top of that he is the most professional person working there… While this appointment was made 2 weeks ago my partner was told that the highlights would be anything from $ 6 — $ 15 since he only wanted a few highlights and literally was going to use 4 – 5 pieces of foil. That never happened told one thing got it done and ended up paying $ 30!!! Leo was running a little late since he was the only one busy. Oh and the blonde woman who could not stop talking about herself!!! Come to find out she was the manager, it was horrible to sit and listen to her talking about herself! Eventually it was my partners turn and Leo took very good care of him, always with a big smile, did the highlights, shampoo, and then the cut. at about 6:30pm while Leo was busy cutting my partners hair this very unprofessional girl/​woman comes over and interrupts Leo she needs to speak with him right away and he gets pulled away from what he is busy with to go show her at the register how to charge for the highlights, now bear in mind he is no where near finished with my partners hair but it was so important for this individual that this gets taken care of right away. She disagrees with Leo after Leo told her that he told my partner that it would be between $ 6 -$ 15 and goes ahead and charges $ 30??? Five mins goes past and she comes over again this time to ask my partner to get up from the chair– again no where near finished, she wants him to get up and make his way over to the register to checkout… This is 6:45pm people you advertise to be opened till 8pm??? This was my first time here with my partner to see how things were done here and after what happened today my partner won’t be coming back and I will never even give this salon a try… Julie J is 100% right, 80% of the people that works here are very snooty!!!

There’s a reason this place is always nearly empty, the people are snooty and no one knows how much anything (product displayed) is. They used to have a good masseuse, but I’ve tried it a couple times since with the current girl and it’s definitely not worth $ 85. Scratchy sheets on your bare skin, LOUD «spa music» from her cell phone (had to ask for it to be turned down, and it was still too loud), and she’ll leave you waaaay too long in the beginning to go chat with her co-​workers. I guess that’s one way to work less, for you to spend the first 10 minutes of your massage waiting on the table. The massage itself? Meh.
