Poor Service! No credit cards cash only! And to top it off the place looks ran down and could use some remodeling!

The Nug is old, a dreary, and weird. It just is. I went back for the first time in the better part of a decade and the only thing that had changed was the jukebox. I think the consistency is why I give it another star. There’s a regular crowd that loves it beyond measure. I understand this and I’m probably guilty of it with my own haunts(Am I the only person that loves Skillet n Grill?). There’s plenty of pool tables and a large outdoor area. The outside used to be pretty cool, but isn’t what it used to be. Cash only. Very small beer selection. PBR is really the only stand-out deal, but because of this it’s usually sold out. You’d think Miller buckets would be cheaper. Oh, well. It’s fun to stop in for a beer and to watch just how different the crowd is from day to day. Unless you’re already running from Taanstaafl to the other side of town, there’s no reason to go out of your way.

This place has seen it’s better days. I’m not sure that guy from bar rescue could even save this place. where do I start? first off when you turn into the place it’s way back In the back and you have to drive down a long drive way to get to it. then you park in the shady park in lot. after you get through with that you go in and the place is pretty run down. the bar area is pretty small and there are only a couple of tvs in the place. one tv is pretty good size, the other two are in the bar and are tiny and look like they are out of the 80’s.I def wouldn’t come here to watch a football game. they have a juke box and a few pool tables. that’s about it. this place needs to go ahead and shut down. for a run down dive bar their prices are kind of steep. nine bucks for a picture of beer. it’s very doubtful I’ll be back. I’m really not sure how this place survives? and another thing it’s pretty much serve yourself because I did not see any wait staff, just a bar tender. good luck to the place but I really don’t think it will last too much longer concidering there are way better clubs and sports bars out there.

This place has been around forever and it looks like it too. I used to take records there for the DJ to play on teen nights in junior high hahaha. I don’t know if this is showing my age or whatever, but the last time I went there I swear everyone was 19 years old and last I checked there aren’t teen nights at bars anymore. I prefer going to Pitchers, it’s in the same parking lot. It’s on the same corner as C and C’s and Tanstaafl too, so make a pub crawl out of it and start at the Nugget.
