This place closed! I’m glad it did because for a while I thought I may have been addicted to fast food, and it led to colossal unwanted weight gain. Although Courthouse is not a dangerous neighborhood, the interior of this particular Wendy’s gave me an eerie feeling, as though as I was about to be kidnapped, murdered or perhaps bullied by very weird patrons.

This was one of the worst Wendy’s I’ve been to and I love Wendy’s. The staff was rude, the restaurant was dirty, and the food was not very well assembled. I normally am all about a good Wendy’s meal, but I don’t know if I’ll be visiting this location again anytime soon.

Very brief and simple review here. Ordered the side garden salad and I received something that was not entirely fresh(with lots of wilted lettuce). Having worked in fast food as a teenager, I know that there are time limits on how long you can use/keep a food item, and the salads are for sure past that point if its wilting. Will not order a salad at the Arlington-Courthouse location again(or anything else for that matter).

Don’t waste your time at this Wendy’s here!!! I came here, a few times before I wrote this review. I go threw the drive thru, The food is alright, I guess, whenever they can get the sandwich correct, if you have to special order it. But the drive thru service is terrible, the young girls, are rude and show you they really don’t wanna be their with their facial expressions to you and the way they act. The manager has to apologize for their behavior, but they still keep them there. If you are placing your order they will cut you off and say«Anything Else» or «Are You Done»! Then when you get to the window, if they aren’t rolling their eyes, they giving you the eye, like what do you want! Very poor customer service, is the main reason I will be staying away!!! Because I don’t wanna be putting my hands on no ones kid, what I was about 2 mins from!!! So now you been warned!!!

Isnt fast food supposed to be down to a science. Here it takes 3 idiots behind a register just to get your order wrong — and all i ordered was an oj a soda and fries ! Slow line even at an off time like 1030am on friday 8÷21÷15. Manager — either train them or fire them all and then resign — obviously you suck too !

I gave two stars based upon Unilocal’s description, «Meh. I’ve experienced better.» I had an uneasy feeling eating food made here. Those behind the counter seemed disorderly, with visible scolding from the very… ethnic…manager, which made the experience uncomfortable. Overall, I am not going to go to THIS location again, but Wendy’s as a chain is usually pretty good. Oh, and they only gave me 5 nuggets in my 6-piece order…

The drive-through service is usually pretty good but if you come inside to eat expect to wait a long time. I happened to be the first in line today and it took a couple minutes for someone to even acknowledge me. They only had one person at the counter taking orders. In a matter of minutes there was a lineup of seven or so people behind me. Still, only one person taking orders. I spoke to the manager and she apologized but would not address my suggestion that at least two people should be taking orders during the lunch hour. In addition, many of their people have such strong accents you simply cannot understand them and they cannot understand you when placing your order. I have nothing against immigrants but it is frustrating when you can’t communicate. On a positive note, the food is usually good if you have the patience to wait inside.

Apparently the staff at this location like to say they are closed 30 min before the posted closure time… then made a huge deal when I said«I don’t mind waiting» when told it would be three minutes for a new batch of nuggets to finish cooking.

I did not think it was possible, but this Wendy’s has worst customer service than the Cosi across the street, 12 people behind the counter including 2 managers, 8 people in front of the counter and I am waiting in line. One person taking orders with no sense of urgency. The whole business model is based on delivering fast food, the employees at this Wendy’s missed the memo and the training. To add insult to injury, the 6 employee’s in the drive thru area are talking to each other watching the line. Who own’s and manages these places? Are they aware how bad it is. I often walk by at lunch, look at the line and keep walking because I know how long it takes the employee’s at this Wendy’s to make each order happen. A hundred years ago I worked at a fast food joint and there was a timer set up for each order and how long we took. I cannot imagine the managers at this Wendy’s use this method of measure to help improve serve times. For the record, the Cosi across the street at night has a manager(I think she used to be a worker bee) that is great! She provides service that is leaps and bounds above the service during the day! It would be worth the effort for Cosi to get her on the day crew and for this Wendy’s to hire her as a consultant.

I like Wendy’s. Frostys. French Fries. Chicken Nuggets. Chili. Baked Potato. etc. I like this location because the next closest Wendy’s is in DC ghetto proper and this one is run much better obviously. Service here is good for the most part, I’ve never experienced a problem. Applause for the drive-thru for when peeps are ‘on the go. Open late night on weekends when peeps come back drunk from the clubs fo’ sho. Wendy’s, yay Wendy’s.

I truly dislike eating fast food, but I’ll occasionally indulge my husband– he prefers Wendy’s over the rest. I’ve found the customer service at this location to be terrible! I placed two separate orders and they didn’t provide receipts for either one… Shady! Conveniently this location doesn’t participate in the«free meal if we forget your receipt» way of doing business. The cashier/manager/order taker was VERY rude when I brought this up. No apology, just an angry face. Whoa lady, thanks for the ‘tude. I will never allow my husband to eat here again! It’s better for him in the long run anyways.

It’s a typical Wendy’s. The service was fine. Clean and open till about 11PM daily. Fine fast food place to go in the Courthouse area.

Was really excited for the new pretzel burger. Until these guys forgot the bacon. I’ve been to quite a few Wendy’s in my time and this is by far the worst. Subpar customer service. Dirty and needs updating. Wendy would be disappointed!!!

I like Wendy’s and was so excited when I moved two blocks away from this location however I’ve been here twice and the food just isn’t good. The last time I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich and the chicken wasn’t cooked all the way! I won’t be visiting this location again.

Mixed bag here. When they are on, it’s good. But about 50% of my orders are wrong. They have none of the promotions that I get in my inbox weekly. Breakfast is a joke. Stale biscuits and greasy overly-processed«chicken» patties. I have had occasions where my order was wrong two or three times in a row during the same transaction. There have been times where a worked had to hold up 5 different salad dressing packets because they can’t tell which one says«Red Jalapeño». There have been times where my fries were cold and half-filled and my chicken sandwich was so old that it was inedible. But it is Wendys. You learn after a while that it will never be right. Oh, and be prepared to have like 5 people ask you for money while you are there. They have no loitering signs but it doesn’t seem like it does anything. Get it to go. You can thank your nostrils later.

This is by far the worst Wendy’s I have ever been to. I feel qualified to say this because I have been to many, many Wendy’s locations in my life and I have been to this one many, many times on account of living around the corner for over two years now. It is so bad. I have literally never been served a fresh fry at this Wendy’s. I have never been served a spicy chicken patty of reasonable size. I’ve never had a burger that tasted fresh. It’s just unbelievable. Every time I swallow my pride and go here, I wonder«will this be the time that I get a reasonably good Wendy’s meal?» It has yet to happen. Sometimes I think that I’m just being too picky, or that Wendy’s in general is going downhill. But then I go to the one on Lee Highway and get a good Wendy’s meal. No, this is just the worst Wendy’s ever. On top of the worst Wendy’s food, it’s also the most expensive Wendy’s location I’ve ever been to. Prepare to pay two full dollars for a JBC.

I love me some Wendy’s. After gtalking with my friend and her want for Wendy’s fries was projected onto me, I immediately drove up to the Courthouse Wendy’s. Now, I like this Arlington Wendys because 1) they stay open pretty late 2) there food is hot unlike other Wendys. Since it was a frigid cold week in the DC/VA/MD area, I hadn’t realized that my window had froze shut! I was a mere window pane away from ordering my meal, that I frantically pushed and pushed at the window down button. But no movement!!! I finally had to open my door and I yelled: «I WANT A JR. BACONCHEESEBURGERANDMEDIUMFRY.» The intercom lady had the audacity to ask if I wanted a Frosty, I don’t think anyone in their right mind would want a Frosty in such biting temperatures. Wendy’s should capitalize on the cold winter weather and instead of serving Frostys they should serve Warmys(hot chocolate).
