I love this library! Great selection of books. The librarians are pretty helpful, the only complaint I have is about the guy (with the glasses) that works there. He has an attitude, which lose the tude dude! But other then that, this library is awesome!

What public library do you know of that’s open until 9pm… ever? Well, THIS one is!!! That’s right folks, open til 9pm Mon-​Wed.
What’s cool about this, is that it offers a nice truly quiet respite alternative from the usual inane chatter you may be subject to should you decide to attempt getting reading, work, or laptop tasks done at the usual mobile-​work station suspects of Barnes & Noble or Starbucks!
Also, this particular public venue is clean, spacious, well-​lit, quiet, accommodating, plentiful available seating with FREE Wi-​Fi, outlets, with clean bathrooms and an overall very comfortable atmosphere.
Free public street parking is available in front. What more can you ask for?
Steps away from an outdoor beer garden, local market, Thai restaurant, Lost Dog Café, Toby’s Homemade Ice Cream Shop, hardware store, seriously, what more could a library patron ask for?
Enjoy your local tax dollars being wisely invested in this worthy public structure!

I really like this branch. This is the first Arlington library I’ve been to which I certainly was impressed by. The space is extremely well kept, friendly staff, and I have a good suspicion I will be coming here often. Today I got my library card and checked out 3 Mary Kay Andrews books. Worth coming if you want a welcoming environment.

I love this library! While their selection pales in comparison to the other Arlington branches (ie: the Quincy library), the library itself is beautiful. I love how roomy and spacious it is.
One of the biggest downers is that this library is a bit louder than your average library. To the eastern wing of the library is a fairly large room with library shelves, computers and communal seating. You can definitely hear fierce typing from the computer quarters even if you’re on the other side of the room. Tack onto that light chatter, book rustling and you have quite a noisy library. Another downer is that they don’t have as big of a selection as other libraries. Sure, you could find the latest fiction novels but I happen to be big on languages and found that they only stock more common language guides (ie: Spanish, French, German) versus some of the more obscure languages (ie: Swedish, Danish and Tagalog). You can still do a search in their systems to see where those books are located though.
Big ups to whoever has built up their CD section (big fan of the jazz/​indie CDs) and their DVD collection (foreign movies? check!).
